Abstract

Personnel administration is a crucial aspect in the management of educational institutions, as it plays a role in creating a conducive work environment and improving the quality of education. This research aims to analyze the personnel administration system at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 3 Sukoharjo, focusing on the personnel system and the employee recruitment process. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation and interviews with the head of the madrasa, administrative staff, and teachers responsible for personnel management. The research results show that the personnel administration at MIN 3 Sukoharjo has implemented a digital system through the SIMPATIKA application managed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The employee recruitment process is carried out systematically through stages of administrative selection, written tests, psychological tests, and interviews. In addition, the personnel system at this madrasa also includes the development of educators, management of employee welfare, and digital-based performance evaluation. Good personnel administration contributes to the improvement of education quality through the selection of competent educators, the implementation of innovative teaching methods, and more optimal student learning outcomes. However, challenges such as limited resources and recruitment policies still pose obstacles. Therefore, more adaptive strategies are needed in managing educational staff to improve administrative effectiveness and the quality of education in madrasahs.

Abstract

One of the local content subjects in elementary schools in Pekalongan City is batik learning. Batik learning can be a means of instilling character in students. The cultural acculturation of three ethnic groups in Pekalongan City, namely Arab, Javanese, and Chinese (ARJATI) which researchers describe as Trimatra in Pekalongan City influences the patterns and motifs and colors of batik in the local area of Pekalongan City. This study is a causal associative study using a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects of this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Pekalongan City. Data analysis in this study was carried out using a paired t-test. The results of the t-test obtained obtained a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.00 or <0.05, which means that there is a difference in the pretest and posttest values after being given treatment. These results prove that out of 45 students who were sampled, there was a positive influence in batik learning with the Pancasila student profile. During the learning process, especially when practicing batik making, there is also a mutual cooperation behavior, upholding an attitude of tolerance, independence, and understanding batik as a local culture inherited from our ancestors.

Data collection in this study was observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity techniques used source triangulation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that through the implementation of TGA-based Word Square, students were able to achieve five of the six P5 dimensions based on the achievement of their indicators. Another P5 dimension, namely the critical thinking dimension, has not been achieved well as seen from the achievement of its indicators. This is evidenced by the achievement of cognitive factors of student groups showing that the average score of students’ answers at each game post is still below the minimum standard for the subjects of Social Sciences, Indonesian, and Religion. Psychological factors also affect students’ moods which change quickly, thus affecting the unstable level of focus on several game activities given.

Abstract

This study discusses the dynamics of School Health Efforts (UKS) in supporting Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) of Elementary School (SDN) students in the Pekalongan Selatan Health Center area. The loss of UKS function at the Elementary School (SDN) level, low understanding and interest in UKS, and the lack of awareness of elementary school students in the Pekalongan Selatan Health Center area towards clean and healthy living practices and behaviors are the background to this study. The subjects of this study consisted of six elementary schools in the Pekalongan Selatan Health Center area, namely SDN Kuripan Lor 1, SDN Kuripan Lor 2, SDN Kuripan Kidul 2, SDN Kertoharjo 1, SDN Kertoharjo 2, and SDN Duwet. This qualitative study uses the Miles & Huberman analysis model by identifying the implementation of the UKS program, UKS teacher mentor strategies, and health center support factors that influence UKS in supporting Clean and Healthy Living Behavior in schools. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the UKS program can run well if supported by adequate human resources, sufficient facilities and infrastructure, appropriate funding sources, and an approach that involves all parties. With collaboration between schools and health centers, it is hoped that the UKS program can be more effective in improving student health and supporting PHBS in the school environment.
