Perguruan tinggi seharusnya terpanggil untuk menjawab tantangan-tantangan di atas melalui pelaksanaan darma ketiga pengabdian pada masyarakat, dan panggilan tersebut sejauh ini sudah banyak dilakukan namun program-program yang betul-betul pokus pada sasaran masih perlu diperbaiki, terutama mengeksplor potensi ekonomi kreatif yan gsejak lama ada dan sedang tumbuh di masyarakat. Berdasar pada latarbelakang itulah seminar nasional dengan Tema “Peran Penelitian dalam Menunjang Percepatan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan di Indonesia” penting untuk dilakukan. Seminar ini diharapkan akan member motivasi dan inspirasi, terutama kepada pengabdi untuk melahirkan berbagai karya, produk dan konsep aplikatif, terutama terkait dengan produk berbasis akselerasi percepatan pembangunan nasional.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis komputer terhadap kesulitan belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Bulukumba. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah media pembelajaran berbasis komputer sebagai variabel bebas (X) dan kesulitan belajar sebagai variabel terikat (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IIS di SMA Negeri Bulukumba sebanyak 109 siswa sekaligus sebagai sampel atau sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase, uji instrumen dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikan 0,001 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis komputer berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kesulitan belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Bulukumba.  Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Kesulitan Belajar

Abstract

This study aims (1). To find out the development of project-based learning modules in valid fashion complementary courses (2) To find out students' responses to the project-based learning modules in fashion complementary courses This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method that develops and produces a product with the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted at the Department of Family Welfare Education, Faculty of Engineering, Makassar State University. The subject of the trial was 30 students of the Concentration of Family Welfare Education in the even semester of the 2018 academic year. Valid data and learning modules were obtained through the assessment of the module book. Student response data obtained from student response questionnaire, the results showed that: 1) The results of the validation rating of the project-based learning module in fashion complementary courses reached a mean of 3.3 or valid categories, 2) the results of the student response rating of the project-based learning module in the subject fashion complements reach 91% or get a positive response, so the learning modules developed are suitable for use in the lecture process at the Department of Family Welfare Education, State University of Makassar

Abstract

Students' graduation in the Land Measure subject is mostly caused by students not completing their assignments or practice reports thoroughly, where practice reports are a prerequisite for taking the Semester Final Examination, namely students who do not exceed 60% completion of their practice report. in determining the final value where the final value is determined by the average value of the Quiz, UTS, Tasks and UAS. This study used a randomized control group pretest-posttes design with a total sample of 72 students consisting of 37 in the experimental class and 35 in the control class. Data analysis using t-test. Based on the test criteria, it was concluded that there was a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the class using peer tutoring learning methods

Abstract

Indonesian language skills are four interrelated skills namely listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skills. Of the four skills, one of the most important language skills in daily life is speaking skills which are an effective oral communication medium. As Tarigan, (2008: 3) says "speaking is language" Speaking skills in elementary school are the core of the language learning process in schools, because with learning to speak students can communicate inside and outside the classroom in accordance with their development. This fact becomes the foundation in the effort to implement the Discovery Learning learning model to see the extent of its effect on speaking skills. The goal to be achieved is to find a picture of the application of the Discovery Learning learning model in Indonesian Language learning. To find out the picture of the results of students' speaking skills at SD Inpres BTIP IKIP Complex, Rappocini District, Makassar City. To determine the effect of the application of the Discovery Learning learning model to students' speaking skills at SD Inpres BTN IKIP Complex, Rappocini District, Makassar City. The results showed that the application of the Discovery Learning learning model affected the speaking skills of students at SD Inpres BTIP IKIP Complex, Rappocini District, Makassar City. This is proven by statistical analysis using the Paired Sample t-Test showing that the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than 0.05, which means that Ho is refused Ha accepted. It is recommended to use innovative learning models in learning.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan hubungan kecerdasan visual spasial dengan kemampuan menginterpretasi grafik kinematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Fisika FMIPA UNM angkatan 2021. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 110 orang. Pengukuran terhadap kecerdasan visual spasial dan kemampuan menginterpretasi grafik kinematika menggunakan instrumen tes kecerdasan visual spasial dalam bentuk pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal dan Test of Understanding Graph – Kinematics versi 4.0 sebanyak 26 soal. Data penelitian diolah dengan stastik deskriptif, regresi linier sederhana, dan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa rata-rata kecerdasan visual spasial mahasiswa Jurusan Fisika FMIPA UNM Angkatan 2021 berada pada kategori sedang dan rata-rata skor kemampuan menginterpretasi grafik kinematika berada pada kategori rendah. Hasil analisis korelasi product moment pada taraf  nyata α = 0,05  menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif yang kuat dan signifikan antara kecerdasan visual spasial dengan kemampuan menginterpretasi grafik kinematika. Kecerdasan visual spasial memiliki peranan penting dalam menentukan kemampuan menginterpretasi grafik kinematika.  Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan  Visual-Spasial, Grafik Kinematika

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis level kognitif siswa berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom yang memiliki gaya belajar visual, audiotori, dan kinestetik pada kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa, tahun 2020/2021. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.4 SMP Negeri 4 Pallangga Kabupaten Gowa dengan 3 orang subjek, yaitu 1 orang siswa dengan gaya belajar visual, 1 orang siswa dengan gaya belajar audiotori, dan 1 orang siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama yang dibantu dengan angket/kuesioner gaya belajar, dan tes soal essay serta wawancara yang didesain berdasarkan level kognitif berdasarkan indikator Taksonomi Bloom. Tahapan analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis data skala gaya belajar dan alalisis data level kognitif siswa materi ajar SPLDV dengan menggunakan kondensasi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Siswa dengan gaya belajar visual memenuhi indikator C1-C4 karena mampu mengingat, memahami, mengamplikasikan, dan menganalisis; (2) Siswa dengan gaya belajar audiotori memenuhi indikator C1-C4 karena mampu mengingat, memahami, dan mengamplikasikan, dan menganalisis; serta (3) Siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik memenuhi indikator C1-C4 karena mampu mengingat, memahami, mengaplikasikan, dan menganalisis. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya belajar visual, audiotori, dan kinestetik High Order Thinking Skill pada level kognitif berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom. Kata Kunci: Taksonomi Bloom, Visual, Audiotori, Kinestetik, SPLDV

Abstract

This study aims to explain the relationship between critical thinking skills (CTS) and mastery of concepts and the relationship between meta-cognition and mastery of concepts in several chemistry learning models in senior high school. The learning models used in this study are discovery learning and direct instruction. This research was carried out for 8 months at Senior High School Makassar city and Maros Regency by involving two graduate program students in the S2 chemistry education study program. The subject and object of this study were XI MIA SMA class students for buffer solution chemistry. The research tools and instruments used in this learning study are instructional tools and test instruments of critical thinking skills and mastery tests of concepts and instruments of the Meta-cognitive Awareness Inventory. The methods used are 1) observation, 2) preparation of teaching tools, 3) preparation of assessment instruments,4) implementation of learning in schools, 5) filling questionnaires, CTS tests, and mastery of concept tests. Data were analyzed inferentially and descriptively. The results of data analysis show that (1) there is a relationship between critical thinking skills and mastery of chemistry concepts for students both learned by investigation-based learning models (discovery learning) or those taught with direct instruction model, (2) there is no relationship between meta-cognition and mastery students 'chemistry concepts both learned by investigation-based learning models (discovery learning) as well as those taught with direct instruction  models, and (3) critical thinking skills and mastery of chemistry’s concepts that learned by investigation-based learning models are higher than those taught by models direct instruction.

Abstract

Silver nanoparticles were synthesized by an environmentally friendly chemical reduction method using Moringa olifera plant extract as reducing agent for the AgNO3 precursor.. The synthesis of silver nanoparticles was carried out without and with the addition of PVA. The formation of silver nanoparticles was monitored by observing UV-Vis absorption. The results showed that the synthesis of silver nanoparticles with the addition of 1% PVA  gave smaller particle size than without addition of PVA. Stirring speeds up the process of forming silver nanoparticles. Maximum absorption of UV-Vis from silver nanoparticles colloid with addition 1% PVA and without addition of PVA at wavelengths of 475 nm and 476 nm respectively in 240 minutes of storage. The purity of the silver nanoparticles synthesized was determined using the XRF instrument and the silver metal content in the synthesized powder was 89.95% with the addition of 1% PVA and 46.23% without the addition of PVA. The size distribution and nanoparticle phase were analyzed using XRD instruments and obtained the average size of the silver nanoparticles synthesized by 24.08 nm with addition of 1% PVA and 32.00 nm without addition of PVA, and both having a face centered cubic (fcc) geometry.

Abstract

This research is intended to analyze the academic social adaptation of the students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Makassar State University. This research is a qualitative research. Phenomenological approach. Data collection using methods: interviews, observation, and documentation. Checking the validity of the data in this study include: Observation Persistence, Triangulation, Detailed Description, Auditing. The results showed that the form of academic social adaptation manifested in social adaptations before / before students whose form was through online-based access to information mainly from the official website of the institution, whatsapp application (WA Group), instagram and the like. As well as print and other electronic media. Pre-students from the beginning entered through PKKMB, reciprocal communicative interaction with Academic Advisers, "advocacy-doctrinization", activations of the Student WA Group. The quality of academic social adaptation forms shows systemic polarization in students' depths. In addition, the existing forms of social adaptation with their intensity and implications determine the color of acculturation of self-determination and the actualization of students' academic social. Urgen to study the concept of form and process in a culture of social adaptation that is smarter and applicable for the success of student studies on time. Abstract

This study aims to 1) Develop local art teaching materials with the aim of knowing the ability to understand, appreciate, and analyze students in aspects of historical background, concepts, and artwork in South Sulawesi 2) Measuring the feasibility of local art teaching materials in the Postgraduate Program in Arts Education Study Program Universitas Negeri Makassar. This research refers to the development procedure developed by Borg & Gall which consists of ten steps that are arranged systematically, with easy-to-understand explanations, and can direct the developer from the beginning to the end of the study. In research on the development of teaching materials, it was only carried out up to nine steps, product dissemination or distribution activities were not carried out due to limited funds and time of the researcher. The components of the learning package developed in this study are textbooks, media presentations, and appreciation tests. The stages in research and development of this instructional package consist of four phases: the initial study phase and the development phase, the implementation phase, the testing and evaluation phase. Learning packages for Local Art Studies in the form of teaching materials, media presentations and appreciation test sheets produced in this study are feasible packages to be used in the learning process in the subject of Local Art Studies at the Universitas Negeri Makassar Postgraduate Program in Fine Arts Education. This is because the package developed has fulfilled the validity criteria, practicality, and effectiveness.
