Perguruan tinggi seharusnya terpanggil untuk menjawab tantangan-tantangan di atas melalui pelaksanaan darma ketiga pengabdian pada masyarakat, dan panggilan tersebut sejauh ini sudah banyak dilakukan namun program-program yang betul-betul pokus pada sasaran masih perlu diperbaiki, terutama mengeksplor potensi ekonomi kreatif yan gsejak lama ada dan sedang tumbuh di masyarakat. Berdasar pada latarbelakang itulah seminar nasional dengan Tema “Peran Penelitian dalam Menunjang Percepatan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan di Indonesia” penting untuk dilakukan. Seminar ini diharapkan akan member motivasi dan inspirasi, terutama kepada pengabdi untuk melahirkan berbagai karya, produk dan konsep aplikatif, terutama terkait dengan produk berbasis akselerasi percepatan pembangunan nasional.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of multimedia-based digital electronics teaching materials in the electronics engineering department of Makassar State University. This type of research is a type of research experiment. Data is collected by the method of observation, testing and documentation. Techniques for analyzing data qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study found that the value of learning outcomes for students using multimedia learning was higher than conventional classes. This is also proven by the results of statistical tests with the results found, namely there are differences in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and conventional classes for the theory of digital electronics.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mechanical properties of chopped strand mat fiber composite fiber boat made from plywood. This research consisted of 3 mm Triplex material with standard ASTM D3039 specimens consisting of 5 samples, Chopped Strand Mat 450 Fiber, 1 kg, catalyst, and resin. Samples were tested mechanically by using a tensile test machine A & D Tensilon Machine Type RTF-2425 with a maximum capacity of 250 kN, ie composite materials which amounted to 5 samples according to ASTM standards. The mechanical properties of composite materials illustrate the strength and toughness, the tensile strength of the chopped strand mat composite fiber material in the manufacture of triplex-based fiber composite boats is 113,676 MPa. There is a difference in the tensile strength of 33% of the chopped Strand Mat Fiber Composite material made from plywood and Chopped Strand Mat Fiber Composite material made from fiber plates.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian dengan judul Perancangan Buku Ajar Koreologi bagi Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sendratasik ini dilakukan di Jurusan Seni Pertunjukan Fakultas Seni dan Desain UNM. Dari observasi awal didapat fenomena akan kebutuhan akan perangkat pembelajaran yang berjenis buku ajar pada pelaksanaan mata kuliah Koreologi di lingkungan Jurusan Seni Pertunjukan. Maka dari itu masalah penelitian difokuskan pada bagaimana rancangan buku ajar yang dibutuhkan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sendratasik dalam mata kuliah Koreologi di Jurusan Seni Pertunjukan Fakultas Seni dan Desain UNM . Metode penelitian yang sesuai dengan masalah penelitian adalah R&D, menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation), yang pada penelitian ini dilakukan hanya sampai pada tahap design. Hasil rancangan buku ajar Koreologi ini sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip  pada bidang pendidikan, terindikasi dengan adanya kesesuaian antara isi buku dengan tujuan pembelajaran, adanya kesesuaian antara metode dengan susunan materi yang disajikan yang sasarannya ke ranah kognisi, adanya kesesuaian antara susunan isi dengan silabus mata kuliah Koreologi, dan tercermin kemudahan dari uraian penjelasan yang to the point disertai rangkuman serta soal-soal latihan. Pada bidang tari khususnya teori tari terindikasi dengan adanya kesesuaian antara isi buku dengan ruang lingkup koreologi dan empat pendekatan studi tari yaitu: pendekatan sejarah, pendekatan tekstual, pendekatan kontekstual, dan pendekatan komparasi. Kata Kunci: Perancangan, Buku Ajar, Koreologi

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the validity of the contents of the test and the internal validity of the test items, 2) the reliability of the test, 3) the characteristics of the test items according to Classical Theory, and 4) the characteristics of the test items according to the USBN Grain Response Theory in Junior High School Mathematics. The study population was all USBN test items in mathematics in state junior high schools in East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi in the academic year 2017/2018. Test takers from Wasuponda 1 Middle School represent Schools with accreditation A consisting of 302 students, Towuti 1 Public Schools represent Schools with accreditation B consisting of 253 students, and Wasuponda 2 Public Schools represent unaccredited schools consisting of 29 students. The total response of students of the National Middle School Mathematics Standard School Examination which will be analyzed as many as 584 answer sheets. Data obtained through documentation about the score points of the SMP USBN test results. Data were analyzed with classical theory and item response theory. National Mathematics Standardized School Middle School Examination Test in Luwu Timur District 2017/2018 School Year concluded that: 1) had fulfilled the criteria of content validity and internal validity, 2) did not meet the element of test reliability because the reliability coefficient was 0.561, 3) using the classical theory of entry in the difficult category, the power difference in the category is not good and most of the deceivers have been functioning effectively, 4) by using the analysis of the 3PL model the power of the different categories of good test items, 5) the different power of each test item can be observed on the characteristic curve of each test item , 6) the level of difficulty most of the test items are in the difficult category and pseudo guesses are in the good category.

Abstract

Abstrak. Riset ini, adalah riset yang berupaya untuk mengeksplanasi urgensi perempuan sebagai pemecah kemiri, dalam menopang ekonomi keluarga. Riset dilakukan pada komunitas, perempuan pemecah kemiri di Kelurahan Mallawa, Mallusetasi Kabupaten Barru, Sulawesi Selatan. Riset ini  menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif rasionalistik. Hasil riset menunjukkan, perempuan pemecah kemiri memliki kontribusi nyata dalam menopang ekonomi keluarga, sebagai penghasilan tambahan, atau okuvasi sambilan, ditengah himpitan ekonomi yang menderahnya. Dengan penghasilan tambahan tersebut, mengkonstruk perempuan pemecah kemiri, bukan semata pekerja domestik, tetapi  juga  memiliki posisi tawar dalam keluarga, sebagai penyambung hidup keluarga, demi keberlangsungan hidup perempuan dan keluarganya. Kata Kunci: Perempuan, Pemecah Kemiri, Ekonomi, Keluarga

Abstract

The kind of this research is pre-experiment research that aims to find out the effectiveness of Derivative learning through two stay two stray model with scientific approach of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. The effectiveness of learning can be measured based on the results of students’ learning achievement, students’ activity, and students’ responses after the implementation of learning. This research was conducted in SMA Negeri 8 Makassar with an experimental unit consisting of class XI-MIPA 3 students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar for giving treatment with the design of the research is one group pretest-posttest design. The results show that: (1) Individually, the students’ mathematics learning achievement of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar after implementation of Derivative learning through two stay two stray model with scientific approach is satisfied the KKM at least 75, (2) The mean scores of normalized gain after implementation of Derivative learning through two stay two stray model with scientific approach is  which is satisfied a high category, (3) the proportion of students’ mathematics learning achievement of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar after implementation of Derivative learning through two stay two stray model with scientific approach is not satisfied 80%. Therefore, the  implementation of Derivative learning through two stay two stray model with scientific approach is effective to be applied of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar based on learning achievement individually, improvement of learning achievement, students’ activity, and students’ responses. Although, inferentially for classical completeness is not satisfied with grade XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Makassar

Abstract

The main problem that is considered in this study, is the quality of education is not determined by a single factor, namely student learning outcomes which are a reflection of learning effort, the better the learning effort, the better the results achieved. Good learning outcomes will be achieved if they can overcome the learning difficulties they experience, but there are a number of variables that influence each other. This type of research is ex-post facto causality. The population in this study were elementary students of Mitra PGSD Bone. Data were collected through 54 selected samples using cluster random sampling techniques. This study aims to: (1) To find a picture of self-efficacy, (2) To find out and explain the relationship of self-efficacy to students' social studies learning achievement. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that: (1) Most elementary students had: self-efficacy in the medium category, and social studies learning outcomes in the moderate category; (2) Self-efficacy has a significant relationship with students' social studies learning achievement. Conclusions, if students' self-efficacy continues to be improved will have an impact on learning outcomes that are even better and can make adjustments in the learning process.

Abstract

Knowledge of labor practices that are owned by both shamans and midwife or medical personnel actors will certainly produce a power effect in the arena of labor. Instead the power possessed by each actor will give birth to knowledge in the arena of pregnant mother and baby help activities. This study aims to: 1) Analyze the contestation of modern knowledge possessed by midwives and local knowledge possessed by traditional birth attendants in the process of assisting pregnant women to the birth process in Gowa Regency. 2) Analyze the contestation of modern knowledge possessed by midwives and local knowledge possessed by traditional birth attendants in the process of care for postpartum mothers and infant care. Data collection is done using the method of in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis is done through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Checking the validity of the data is done in four ways, namely: credibility; transferability; dependability; confirmability. The results show that: 1) Contestation between modern knowledge and local knowledge in the practice of pregnant and childbirth assistance leads to a pattern of domination in which this pattern occurs in the arena of pregnancy, where modern knowledge of midwives dominates the traditional knowledge of shamans. 2) Contestation between modern and traditional knowledge in the practice of infant assistance shows a pattern of contestation of coexistence in which modern knowledge possessed by midwives and traditional knowledge possessed by traditional birth attendants are present together but have their respective parts without interfering with each other in the process of infant help

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan model podcast dalam melatih keterampilan interpersonal mahasiswa. Dalam metode penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menyebar kuesioner melalui miscrosoft form pada sejumlah mahasiswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan rata-rata skor jawaban pada angket, mencari persentasi hasil tanggapan responden, dan menginterpretasi hasil tanggapan responden berdasarkan persentase. Hasil penelitian berupa penggunaan podcast sebagai media pembelajaran digital masih sangat jarang, hal tersebut karena kurangnya jumlah pembelajaran melalui podcast. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model podcast dalam melatih keterampilan interpersonal skill mahasiswa dengan perolehan nilai 43,6% sangat setuju, 50,7% setuju, dan 3% tidak setuju; point selanjutnya ialah podcast meningkatkan Keterampilan Interpersonal mahasiwa dengan perolehan nilai 40,3% sangat setuju, 56,7% setuju, sisanya 3% tidak setuju. Secara keseluruhan mahasiswa memiliki kemampuan dalam melatih keterampilan interpersonal skill jika dirangsang menggunakan model podcast. Podcast dianggap cukup inovatif, tetapi banyak yang lebih memilih media digital lain karena sudah lebih mengerti dan paham serta cukup familiar untuk digunakan. Penggunaan podcast sebagai media pembelajaran dianggap efektif pada pembelajaran-pembelajaran yang tidak menggunakan rumus dan berhitung pada materi pembelajarannya. Kata Kunci: Podcast, Interpersonal Skills Mahasiswa, Model Pembelajaran

Abstract

The low level of critical thinking skills of students, namely the average value of students doing interpretation, analysis, and inference in a row of 1.53, 1.15, and 1.52. Though the demands of the curriculum, both the 2006 and 2013 curriculum explicitly found keywords in core competencies and basic competencies such as scientific behavior (including curiosity, objectivity, honesty, thoroughness, meticulous, diligent, careful, responsible, open, critical, creative, innovative and caring for the environment), conducting experiments and discussing, analyzing, presenting data and graphics. This means that the Indonesian Curriculum explicitly states that critical thinking skills as future competencies must be taught to students to answer the challenges of globalization and be able to adapt to change and respond to the demands of the 21st century. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe indicators of critical thinking skills in the basic competencies of the 2013 Curriculum for High School Physics Subjects
