Perguruan tinggi seharusnya terpanggil untuk menjawab tantangan-tantangan di atas melalui pelaksanaan darma ketiga pengabdian pada masyarakat, dan panggilan tersebut sejauh ini sudah banyak dilakukan namun program-program yang betul-betul pokus pada sasaran masih perlu diperbaiki, terutama mengeksplor potensi ekonomi kreatif yan gsejak lama ada dan sedang tumbuh di masyarakat. Berdasar pada latarbelakang itulah seminar nasional dengan Tema “Peran Penelitian dalam Menunjang Percepatan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan di Indonesia” penting untuk dilakukan. Seminar ini diharapkan akan member motivasi dan inspirasi, terutama kepada pengabdi untuk melahirkan berbagai karya, produk dan konsep aplikatif, terutama terkait dengan produk berbasis akselerasi percepatan pembangunan nasional.

Abstract

Abstrak. Jumlah pasien positif penyakit Coronavirus-2019 (Covid-19) meningkat secara tajam mengikuti sebaran eksponensial. Salah satu Provinsi di Indonesia di luar Pulau Jawa yang memiliki jumlah kasus Covid-19 tertinggi adalah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Diantara 24 Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Kota Makassar sebagai ibukota provinsi Sulawesi Selatan memiliki kasus terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19 tertinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan model Bayesian spasial Conditional Autoregressive (CAR) dalam mengestimasi risiko relative (RR) kasus Covid-19 di Makassar. Beberapa model model Bayesian spasial CAR yang digunakan adalah CAR BYM, CAR Leroux, CAR localised dan model Independent. Data yang digunakan pada penelitiaan ini adalah data jumlah kasus terkonfirmasi positif Covid-19 (20 Maret 2020 - 30 Agustus 2021) dan data jumlah penduduk pada 15 kecamatan di Kota Makassar. Pemilihan model terbaik didasarkan pada beberapa ukuran kecocokan model yaitu Deviance Information Criteria (DIC), Watanabe Akaike Information Criteria (WAIC). Berdasarkan nilai DIC dan WAIC yang terkecil, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Bayesian spasial CAR localised merupakan model yang terbaik dalam memodelkan kasus terkonfirmasi Covid-19 di kota Makassar. Berdasarkan Bayesian spasial CAR localised tersebut, diperoleh bahwa Ujung Pandang memiliki RR Covid-19 tertinggi (RR=1,70) sedangkan Kabupaten Sangkarrang memiliki RR Covid-19 terendah (RR=0,09). Hasil ini dapat membantu para pembuat kebijakan dalam pengambilan keputusan.Kata Kunci: Bayesian, Conditional Autoregressive priors, Leroux, BYM, Localised

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) Knowledge, mass media exposure, attitudes, and environmental pollution control of high school students in Makassar City, 2) Effect of knowledge on environmental pollution attitudes, 3) Effect of mass media exposure to environmental pollution attitudes, 4) Influence knowledge of environmental pollution control, 5) Effect of information media vulnerability on environmental pollution control, 6) Indirect influence of knowledge on control through pollution, 7) Indirect influence of mass media on control through environmental pollution. The population of this study was all tenth grade students (X) majoring in Natural Sciences (IPA) of State High Schools in Makassar City. The sample was chosen by cluster random sampling, which was 177 people as respondents. The results showed: 1) Knowledge of environmental pollution of good qualifications, the comprehension of the mass media is of high tendency, the attitude of environmental pollution is a positive qualification, environmental pollution control qualifications are quite good, 2) Directly there is a significant influence of knowledge on the attitude of environmental pollution, 3) Directly there is a significant influence on the level of exposure of the mass media to the attitude of environmental pollution, 4) Directly there is a significant influence of knowledge on environmental pollution control, 5) Directly there is a significant effect on the level of exposure of the mass media to environmental pollution control, significant effect on environmental pollution control, 7) Indirectly the level of exposure to mass media through attitudes has a significant effect on environmental pollution control. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested to: environmental education teachers as well as others to try to increase knowledge, attitudes so as to form the ability to control environmental pollution for sustainable development, 2) Education experts should pay attention to the factors that are in direct contact with teacher needs in the field (bottom -up) in creating new approaches and methods in shaping attitudes and controlling environmental pollution.

Abstract

Utilization of waste into alternative energy is still very minimal, only around 1600 MW or around 3.25% of the existing potential. Several small-scale biogas installations have been held. However, the installation is still limited to sources from palm oil waste and livestock manure, while household waste has not been managed optimally. The volume of waste in Indonesia is around 64 million tons per year. Until 2020, the volume of urban waste is expected to increase five times. Meanwhile, it is estimated that from the process of planting, production, shipping to final consumption, more than 40% of food becomes junk. This becomes a big problem if it is not handled properly, even though waste saves a large energy potential

Abstract

The title of this research is Persecution Realty on school community in Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi). The purpose of this study is:  To analyze the reality of persecution in the school community. The nature of the research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques are: interview, observation, documentation. The data analysis of this research was categorized. Research results show that in school communities also often experience anomalies in achieving the noble goals of school. the number of cases of threats, bullying, harassment, torture, violence, abuse, oppression, discrimination experienced by a particular person or group in the school shows the reality that the behavior of persecution is evident in the school community even though the intensity and polarization are different different.

Abstract

The imbalance in the orientation of educational goals in Indonesia is considered as the cause of the failure of character formation. The learning process in class is only concerned with academic achievement and ignores the practice of good behavior. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of developing the character and academic achievements of students through Project Based Learning (PjBL) in plant physiology courses. The study was designed as a pre-experiment using Single-Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Students are given a pretest before being given a learning treatment by applying PjBL and thereafter given a posttest. The random sampling technique was used to select one of three classes of participants in plant physiology courses with a total of 36 students. Student character observation sheets and learning achievement tests are used as instruments. Descriptive analysis, t-test, and N-Gain are used in data analysis. The results revealed that the application of PjBL in plant physiology courses can develop the character of discipline and responsibility and student learning outcomes. This study recommends that lecturers in higher education institutions apply the PjBL model among learner-centered learning models for the purpose of character development and academic achievement

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pelaksanaan program profil pelajar Pancasila dimensi berlanar kritis di sekolah dasar sebagai upaya pembentukan karakter peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis dan desain penelitian kualitatif desktirtif. Objek penelitian adalah karakter bernalar kritis peserta didik sekolah dasar. Adapun pengumpuulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara:  (1) reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, dimensi bernalar kritis profil pelajar Pancasila dalam pembelajaran ditunjukkan melalui, (1) pembuatan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (2) variasi penggunaan media pembelajaran, (3) penerapan pembelajaran yang berbasis reflektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik Kata Kunci: Profil Pelajar Pancasila, Bernalar Kritis, Pembelajaran

Abstract

Abstract. Moderation is an important aspect in education since it can contribute to democratic education. The educational system in Indonesia needs to consider implementing the concept of moderation, especially in Islamic Schools. For this purpose, this research aims at exploring the models of moderation in Islamic Schools in Makassar. This research focuses on exploring moderation-based instruction models in teaching English at Islamic Senior High School in Makassar. The subject of the study is an English teacher and the students of one Islamic Senior High School in Makassar. This study employed an ethnographic research design. The researchers applied observation, interview, note-taking, and documentation of English teachers in exploring the implementation of moderation-based instruction in teaching English. Findings from this study show that PELA Model stands for Preparing material, Establishing and adopting the local wisdom, Learning to apply in ourselves before teaching others, and Applying moderation based instruction in English teaching. This model is only a suggested model that should be followed up by further research to examine and measure the effectiveness. This study will contribute to the professional knowledge of how to implement moderation in teaching English in Islamic Schools in Indonesia and provide insights for policy-making and improving the quality of primary-school level English language teaching in general.Keywords: Moderation; instruction; moderation-based instruction; English Language Teaching

Abstract

. This study includes a semi-experimental research (Quasy Experiment) which aims to determine the effect of contextual approaches to scientific attitudes in the form of curiosity and academic honesty in discovery learning models of students of class XI 7 Gowa State High School. The research design used is Post-test only control group design. The sampling technique is simple random sampling, and the sample of this study is class XI MIA 1 as an experimental class and class XI MIA 3 as a control class with the number of students each class as many as 36 and 32 people. The experimental class was taught using a contextual approach to discovery learning models, while the control class was taught with a discovey model. The independent variable is the contextual approach to the experimental class and the discrete model for the control class, and the dependent variable is the scientific attitude. The results of the research data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive analysis results in both classes showed the average value of curiosity of both classes in good and sufficient categories, for academic honesty of both experimental class and successive control classes of good and less good. The results of the hypothesis testing of curiosity and academic honesty using the t- test, obtained the value of t-count = 20.15> t table = 1.99, and for academic honesty, obtained the value of t-count = 14.94> t table = 1, 99 both at a significant level, α = 0.05. Because both show the t-count value> t-table, Ho is rejected, and H1 is accepted. This shows that there is a positive influence on contextual approaches on the curiosity and academic honesty of students of class XI SMA 7 in learning acid and base.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan upaya untuk mengindentifikasi, menelusuri, menganalisis UMKM konveksi di kota makassar perlu dilaksanakan pelatihan akan manajemen keuangan secara sistematis, terintegrasi, dan berkelanjutan mengenai literasi keuangan  yaitu  membangun fondasi  bisnis  yang  kuat  sangat  dibutuhkan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumen. Teknik analisis data kualitatif menggunakan model Miles and Hubermans meliputi reduksi data,penyajian data serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Uji keabsahan data hasil penelitian dalam kaitannya dengan model manajemen pelatihan literasi keuangan pada UMKM Konveksi di Kota Makassar menggunakan uji kredibilitas melalui per panjangan pengamatan.  Model Manajemen Edu Finance pada UMKM Konveksi untuk meningkatkan literasi keuangan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaku UMKM sangat membutuhkan pengetahuan berkait dengan cara mengelola keuangan, mengakses pembiayaan melalui perbankkan atau lembaga yang lain dan menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan. Kebutuhan akan pengetahuan tentang literasi keuangan harus lebih ditingkatkan. Literasi keuangan bagi pelaku UMKM Konveksi dapat ditingkatkan dengan melakukan pelatihan-pelatihan, mencakupi planning (perencanaan), implementation (pelaksanaan) dan follow-up (tindak lanjut). Kata Kunci: Manajemen Keuangan, Literasi Keuangan, Model Manajemen Edu Finance

Abstract

Abstrak. Pengembangan kemampuan sosial melalui Bermain Peran anak usia dini belum dilaksanakan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) Untuk mengetahui analisis kebutuhan Kemampuan sosial Anak melalui bermain peran di TK Riyanti Kabupaten Gowa, (2) Untuk mengetahui desain permainan peran dalam mengembangkan kemampuan sosial pada TK Kabupaten Gowa, (3) Untuk mengetahui tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan model permainan peran dalam mengembangkan kemampuan sosial pada anak usia dini di TK Riayanti Kabupaten Gowa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini 15 orang dan satu guru. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Model permainan peran sangat dibutuhkan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan sosial anak, (2) Desain penelitian merancang model permainan peran, perangkat pembelajaran dan buku pedoman, (3) tingkat validitas dan kepraktisan menunjukkan menunjukkan presentase 80% anak yang mencapai tingkat perkembangan kemampuan sosial dengan kriteria berkembang sangat Baik (BSB).Kata kunci : Kemampuan Sosial, bermain peran, media pembelajaran, Anak Usia Dini
