Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Glad2Glow product quality on consumer trust and purchasing decisions for Glad2Glow skincare products through the online platform TikTok Shop in Tasikmalaya Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 60 respondents who had previously purchased Glad2Glow skincare products. Data were collected through a questionnaire based on a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The collected data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique with the SmartPLS application. The results indicate that product quality is the strongest factor influencing consumer trust, with a path coefficient of 0.737 (T = 9.938; P = 0.000). Product quality also has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a coefficient of 0.505 (T = 6.129; P = 0.000). These findings demonstrate that better product quality increases consumer confidence in the product and encourages stronger purchasing decisions. The study highlights the importance of maintaining product quality as a strategic factor in building consumer trust and improving purchasing behavior in a social commerce environment. Therefore, businesses operating through digital platforms such as TikTok Shop should prioritize product quality to strengthen customer relationships and enhance market competitiveness.

Abstract

The effectiveness of zakat management within the educational sector plays a crucial role in improving mustahik welfare. This study aims to analyze the management of zakat by the School Zakat Management Unit (UPZ) at SMKN Pringkuku Pacitan in enhancing the well-being of its beneficiaries. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through interviews, direct observations, and documentary reviews. The findings reveal that the zakat management mechanism has been structured systematically, encompassing collection, distribution, and mustahik classification based on the eight categories of asnaf. Specifically, professional zakat (zakat profesi) is collected via a 2.5% monthly salary deduction from civil servant (PNS) and government employee (PPPK) staff, while zakat fitrah is accumulated from all teachers, staff, and students. The allocated zakat funds are regularly distributed to underprivileged students, orphans, and the community residing around the school environment. This financial intervention is proven to yield a positive impact by supporting educational expenses, fulfilling daily basic needs, and boosting students' learning motivation. The implication of this study emphasizes that the school-based zakat management model holds significant potential to be replicated as an effective social empowerment instrument to secure student welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of talent management and employee experience in enhancing employee loyalty in the e-commerce industry through a non-empirical, conceptual approach. The study employs a qualitative design with a mixed-methods literature synthesis to construct a model of the relationship between talent management, work experience, and digital workforce loyalty. Data were obtained through a review of reputable international and national scientific literature addressing talent management, employee experience, employee engagement, retention, and employee loyalty in the digital and e-commerce sectors from 2020 to 2026. Analysis was conducted using thematic synthesis and comparative conceptual analysis, with the high turnover rate in the e-commerce industry serving as the primary interpretive context. The research findings indicate that employee loyalty is fostered through the integration of competency development, career development, rewards and recognition, employer branding, work flexibility, organizational communication, and psychological safety. Employee experience strengthens employee engagement and organizational commitment, while talent management enhances perceptions of organizational support and professional career sustainability. The study’s conceptual model demonstrates that the integration of these two variables contributes to workforce retention, organizational stability, productivity, and the enhancement of e-commerce companies’ competitiveness in a competitive digital business environment

Abstract

The era of globalization and accelerated digital transformation has given rise to increasingly competitive job markets, requiring every individual to possess adequate skills, confidence, and abilities to face professional demands. In this situation, Generation Z, as a productive age group, still faces various obstacles related to job readiness, for example, a lack of confidence in meeting job expectations and a low mastery of non-technical skills required by industry. This research intends to assess the influence of self-efficacy and soft skills on the employment preparedness of Generation Z in Tasikmalaya Regency using quantitative approaches. The sample comprised 100 participants who were chosen using a non-probability sampling technique, specifically purposive sampling. Data collection employed an ordinal-scale questionnaire, and data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression testing. The findings indicate that self-efficacy has a partial, positive, and significant influence on job readiness. A similar impact is also demonstrated by the soft skills variable, where these non-technical skills are proven to accelerate individual readiness. When tested simultaneously, the combination of self-efficacy and soft skills plays a crucial role in strengthening the job readiness of Generation Z in Tasikmalaya Regency. These findings emphasize that the combination of self-confidence and interpersonal and intrapersonal competencies is the main foundation for facing the world of work. Therefore, this study offers practical implications regarding the urgency of strengthening both aspects through academic pathways, training programs, and stimulating work experiences to produce a Generation Z capable of optimally responding to the dynamics of industry needs.

Abstract

This study investigates the critical factors influencing job satisfaction among night shift employees at RSUD KHZ Musthafa Singaparna Tasikmalaya, given the inherent challenges of 24-hour hospital operations. Night shift workers are particularly susceptible to physical and psychological strain, which can elevate job stress and disrupt work-life balance, ultimately threatening their job satisfaction. The research employs a quantitative associative approach, utilizing Likert-scale questionnaires distributed to 75 night shift staff selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression with SPSS. Instrument validation confirmed that all items were both valid and reliable. Partial regression results reveal that job stress exerts a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (t = 3.106, Sig. = 0.003), while work-life balance also demonstrates a positive and significant impact (t = 1.815, Sig. = 0.044). Simultaneously, both variables together significantly influence job satisfaction (F = 10.121, Sig. < 0.001), with an RSquare of 0.419, indicating that 41.9% of the variance is explained by the model, while 58.1% is attributable to external factors. These findings underscore the importance for hospital management to actively manage job stress through targeted interventions and design equitable shift scheduling policies. Such strategies are essential to sustaining high levels of employee satisfaction, which in turn supports both staff well-being and the quality of patient care in a demanding healthcare environment.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of career adaptability and intrinsic motivation on the work readiness of Generation Z in Tasikmalaya Regency. The research is motivated by high unemployment rates and the rising phenomenon of youth in the NEET category, indicating low post-pandemic workplace preparedness. Employing a quantitative survey method, data were gathered from 100 Gen Z respondents (aged 16–31) using Likert-scale questionnaires through purposive sampling, and subsequently analyzed via multiple linear regression using SPSS 31.The partial test results indicate that career adaptability has a positive and significant effect on work readiness (t = 3.984; p = 0.000), as does intrinsic motivation (t = 4.751; p = 0.000$). Simultaneously, both variables significantly impact work readiness (F = 122.363; p = 0.000). The coefficient of determination demonstrates that these two factors contribute 71.6% to work readiness, while the remaining 28.4% stems from external variables. This research concludes that strengthening internal motivation and adaptive capacity is crucial for Gen Z's competitiveness, thereby requiring intensive attention from the local government, academic sector, and all relevant institutions located in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and service quality on repurchase intention through customer satisfaction at Famicafe Surabaya. The background of this research is driven by the rapid growth of the retail cafe industry in Surabaya and a recorded 23.8% decline in total transaction volume at Famicafe during the final quarter of 2025. This study employs a quantitative approach involving 100 respondents selected via purposive sampling, and data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that product quality does not have a significant direct effect on repurchase intention. However, service quality and customer satisfaction were found to have a positive and significant influence on repurchase intention. Furthermore, product quality and service quality significantly influence customer satisfaction. Crucially, customer satisfaction acts as a full mediator linking product quality to repurchase intention and as an essential mediator in the relationship between service quality and repurchase intention. These findings confirm that to foster loyalty and boost repurchase intention at Famicafe Surabaya, product and service excellence must be effectively translated into actual customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of financial constraints on workforce management practices in agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2022 and 2025. Earnings management was measured using the DeAngelo Discretionary Accrual model, while financial distress was measured using the Altman Z-Score. A purposive sample yielded 32 observations, and the data were analyzed quantitatively using simple linear regression in SPSS. The analysis results showed that Financial Distress had no significant effect on Earnings Management, with a significance value of 0.718 (>0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.004 indicates that only 0.4% of the variation in earnings management practices can be explained by financial distress, while the remaining 99.6% is influenced by factors outside this model. This finding suggests that the adoption of earnings management strategies in pharmaceutical companies is not primarily driven by financial distress. Therefore, it is recommended that future research include additional variables that could potentially influence earnings management.
