Abstract

Plastic waste management in educational environments is a significant challenge, especially in efforts to maintain environmental cleanliness and sustainability. This study aims to apply the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) in the management and utilization of plastic waste at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NU Sumput. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study explores various strategies carried out by the madrasah in reducing plastic use, recycling plastic waste, and reusing plastic in daily activities. The results of the study indicate that the application of the 3R principle at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NU Sumput has succeeded in significantly reducing the amount of plastic waste, increasing environmental awareness among students, and having a positive impact on the surrounding environment. This study concludes that the application of the 3R principle in plastic waste management in the school environment can be an effective model in supporting the educational environment and desires.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of training and mentoring in calistung learning (reading, writing and arithmetic) in improving basic skills in lower grade students at SDN Kalitimbang II. Using qualitative research methods, this research involved grade 1 students, as well as their teachers and parents. Data was collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and parents, as well as analysis of student learning outcomes before and after the intervention. The research results showed that calistung training and mentoring significantly improved students' basic skills. This improvement is reflected in better learning outcomes, increased interest in learning, and active participation in learning activities. These findings indicate that calistung training and mentoring is an effective strategy in improving the basic skills of lower class students.

Abstract

This service explores the relationship between social media use and juvenile delinquency, one of which is promiscuity in the digital era with a focus on the impact of socialization involving the police. Through outreach programs, researchers seek to provide understanding to teenagers about the risks associated with using social media and how to avoid delinquent behavior. This research found that effective socialization can reduce the level of juvenile delinquency by increasing their awareness of the negative impacts of social media. The research results also show the importance of collaboration between parents and law enforcement in educating teenagers how to use social media wisely.

Abstract

The development of technology and information has an impact on education, so media is very important in the learning process. The use of learning media for educators as a tool to deliver material in the teaching and learning process. Through learning media, students will more easily receive the knowledge delivered. One of the learning media is audio visual which can be applied in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) lessons. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of audio visual-based teaching media in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects at SDN 2 Kuta Dalom. By utilizing audio visual technology, it is hoped that students can better understand the subject matter in a more interesting and interactive way. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental approach. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student understanding after the application of audio visual-based teaching media.

Abstract

One of the healthy lifestyles that must be carried out by the community is to routinely consume probiotic drinks. This drink is an immuno booster drink that can increase the immune system or body resistance to fight all kinds of diseases caused by microorganisms. One type of probiotic drink is Kombucha, this drink is produced from the tea fermentation process. The Kombucha fermentation process uses microorganisms that come from the symbiosis of bacteria and fungi or known as Scoby. Kombucha tea is made by brewing sweet tea and adding Scoby to the tea solution. The purpose of this study was to empower women's farmer groups in making Kombucha. The method used is a case study applied in the real work lecture program of the University of Muhammadiyah Lampung which was held in Pekon Kutadalom, Gisting, Tanggamus on July 24-September 2023. The workshop was given to 30 women's farmer groups. The stages of activity in this method are observation and coordination with village officials, counseling/workshops, training in making Kombucha tea, and evaluation of activities. The results of observations and coordination with village officials were obtained to find out the existing problems. The community tends not to know what foods and drinks can increase the body's immunity. Continued with a workshop attended by 30 participants, participants were enthusiastic with various questions asked. The delivery of the material focused on the history of kombucha, benefits, and fermentation process, so that kombucha tea can be consumed regularly. The workshop on making probiotic kombucha tea drinks conducted for women farmer groups has been effective and can increase knowledge about the importance of routinely consuming probiotic drinks as body immunity.

Abstract

The environment plays an important role for humans to meet their needs. Especially in meeting the needs of human endurance using traditional medicine. Medicinal plants have many types and have different properties. In the processing of medicinal plants, skills are needed so that the processed medicine has good quality and has few side effects compared to modern medicine. Many people in Sungai Batang Village are also affected by Dengue Fever (DBD). Therefore, it is necessary to cultivate medicinal plants in the Sungai Batang Village area to prevent the continuation of various diseases that will attack the health of the people of Sungai Batang Village. In maintaining the stability of public health in Sungai Batang Village, residents, especially farmer groups and village youth, participate in the cultivation of these medicinal plants and can maintain the medicinal plants to grow.

Abstract

Used oil is produced every day in every home, in its use, mothers are still not aware of the dangers that will be caused by the repeated use of used oil. The need for training to provide knowledge and be active in the environmental health of neighborhood neighborhoods in the Jelupang Village area of South Tangerang It is a must, considering the rainy season that has begun to be frequent, the disposal of used oil waste will clog the sewers in the Jelupang Village environment. With a qualitative approach in this Jelupang KKN, providing ideas for this training The results of the study show that this training program received a warm welcome from mothers who are members of the Jelupang Village Farmer Women's Group, who are waste bank activists in the village, and have been well coordinated, making it easier to conduct the training. They already have a stock of used cooking oil which is withdrawn and deposited every Wednesday per neighborhood in the village, the activists get new knowledge in creative use with a variety of models and sales results, with a variety of fragrances.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the Religious Character Education Program at Dharma Utama Middle School as an effort to form SMART (Spiritual, Capable, Adaptive, Responsive and Responsible) teenagers in Sukasari Village. Thus, religious character education at Dharma Utama Middle School does not only focus on academic aspects, but also on forming a balanced character, thereby creating teenagers who have integrity and are ready to face the future. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for other educational institutions in developing similar programs to improve the quality of character education at the secondary school level.

Abstract

Congestion and traffic accidents are the scourge of overall transportation safety and security conditions. Indonesia itself is the 2nd most congested country in Southeast Asia. The aim of this research is to show that in order to optimize the implementation of transportation safety and security through optimizing driving safety management in Indonesia, maximizing the multi-disciplinary approach of policy makers to overcome traffic jams and traffic accidents. Qualitative research uses a descriptive approach to collect data systematically, factually, and quickly according to the description at the time of the research. The results of this research show that there is a need to optimize law enforcement which has an effect on reducing the level of congestion and traffic accidents in order to reduce traffic jams and accidents on the Trans Java toll road in order to strengthen national resilience.

Abstract

The purpose of this PKM is to carry out the practice of processing rice husks into organic fertilizer in Padang Mekar Village, Padangguni District. The PKM activity was carried out at the house of the Head of Padang Mekar Village on Thursday, October 10, 2024. The community service program (PKM) in Padang Mekar Village in processing rice husks into organic fertilizer has been realized and carried out smoothly through various activities ranging from preparation, counseling, practice and mentoring. With this activity, it shows a positive impact on local PKM participants, namely an increase in knowledge and skills related to processing rice husks into organic fertilizer which has many benefits for farming businesses, especially for rice farmers who are carried out and of course have economic value. This is proven by the activities of filling out the pre-test and post-test questionnaires on participants.
