Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts of community economic empowerment, the implementation process to the results of community economic empowerment carried out by the Batik Canting Bekasi SMEs. This study used a descriptive method, while the approach used in this study was a phenomenological approach. The author borrows the theory of empowerment according to Eddy which states that empowerment is an effort to develop community potential into real action. The results showed that community economic empowerment carried out by batik canting SMEs was through a batik training program about batik and its characteristics, a system of providing insightful knowledge and batik material. The process of implementing the training goes through the planning stage, the implementation stage to the monitoring and evaluation stage. The results of the empowerment can increase the insight and skills of the community, the emergence of member participation in empowerment activities and improve the community's economy.

Abstract

This paper aims to find out the process, results and inhibiting and supporting factors in women's empowerment through women farmer groups in improving family welfare in Cipanjalu Village, Cilengkrang District, Kab. Bandung. The method in this study uses descriptive study method, so data collection is not guided by theory but guided by facts found during research in the field. The results of the research showed that in the planning process the community farmer group women were not involved in the process, but the government in its planning aimed at increasing self-reliance and prosperity, where empowerment was able to improve family welfare by fulfilling material, spiritual and social physical needs by involving community participation and also existing resources.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Bunda Mandiri Sejahtera (BISA) program through the implementation of the program and to find out the results of economic empowerment of orphans through the Bunda Mandiri Sejahtera (BISA) program. This research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. Based on the results of the research shows that: first, the Bunda Mandiri Sejahtera (BISA) program is a small group-based widow empowerment program by providing Islamic religious guidance, parenting and economic empowerment. Second, the implementation of the Bunda Mandiri Sejahtera (BISA) program through several stages starting with regional surveys, recruitment of members, then coaching, providing capital assistance and business implementation and monitoring. Third, the results of economic empowerment of orphan mothers Bunda Mandiri Sejahtera (BISA) program not only make orphans can be independent financially or economically but also morally and religiously.

Abstract

Waste is a crucial problem in Indonesia, the current accumulation of waste is caused by improper waste management. Primary Waste Management Cooperative (PKPS) Kab. Cianjur acts as a facilitator who presents solutions to waste problems by creating innovations in waste management and making waste as a business opportunity in empowering the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the program, process, and results obtained by the Primary Waste Management Cooperative (PKPS) Kab. Cianjur in empowering the community. The method used in this study is a descriptive method, with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Based on the results of the research PKPS Kab. Cianjur has been able to overcome waste problems through several programs, namely organic waste sorting, maggot cultivation, socialization/controlling, and organic waste management training/workshops to waste banks TPS 3R. The PKPS process in empowering the community goes through 4 stages, namely planning, reflection, implementation, and evaluation. The results obtained by PKPS in empowering the community consist of 3 aspects, namely economic, environmental, and social.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the background was about PKH, how to implement PKH, and how the results of the existence of PKH on improving family welfare. This research method uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that PKH appeared ini Ranjeng Village since 2014. The program aims to help the poor in terms of their economy, education and health. The implementation of its activities aims to improve the family’s economy so that all kinds of things they need can be fulfilled. The results of this PKH on improving the family’s economy can be said to be very helpful for every family that is less able, but because the program in Ranjeng Village does not yet exist such as training so that the community can develop the existing potential so the impact of the existence of this program the community becomes more dependent.

Abstract

Initially, Cemara Cipanglay Beach was not productive. If it was developed in a tourist area, it would certainly affect the municipality's economic growth. This study aims to determine the strategy, process and impact of tourism development on Cemara Cipanglay Beach on community empowerment. The method used in this research is descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that this tourism development strategy maximizes the strength aspect of the potential of natural resources owned, namely there are three elements of natural charm, namely the agricultural, forestry and marine sectors contained in one beach tourist object. In carrying out the tourism development process at Cemara Cipanglay Beach, it involves the role as well as the Village Government, Community Empowerment Institutions (LPM), Youth Organizations, District Leadership Conferences (Muspika), Community Mobilization Groups (Kompepar), Forest Farmers Groups (KTH), Tourism Awareness Groups and the Cidamar Village community starting from the process of planning, implementing, managing up to evaluation, the result of tourism development at Cemara Cipanglay Beach is an increase in community participation in the implementation of tourism development based on public awareness to make changes

Abstract

This research reviews the efforts, program and impact  of community learning center (PKBM) Raharja in improving the skills of the poor. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. Abstract

The existence of Posyandu in the midst of the community is a very big role, because it involves meeting the needs that are very important for the health of mothers and children. This study aims to determine the program, program implementation, and the results of the posyandu's role in improving the quality of health in RW 02 Rancaekek Kulon Village, Rancaekek District. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive research methods. The results of this study indicate that the Posyandu Sangkuriang Program in improving the quality of public health in RW 02 includes weighing, measuring height, immunization, counseling, nutrition, family planning (family planning), diarrhea, giving vitamin A, and providing supplementary food (PMT). As for the implementation of each Posyandu cadre has provided good service to all the people of RW 02 Rancaekek Kulon Village who come to Sangkuriang Posyandu according to a predetermined schedule while the results of the Sangkuriang Posyandu program are measured from the overall evaluation. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the situation in the field related to the implementation, constraints and the results of empowerment of the patchwork handicraft industry in improving the economy of the community in Sukamulya Village. How is the implementation,constraints and empowerment of the patchwork industry in improving the community's economy. Th e method used in this study is a qualitative method by describing the situation in the field related to the implementation, constraints, and results of empowerment that have been made by the patchwork industry in improving the economy of the community. The results in this study are the implementation of the patchwork industry in improving the economy of the community carried out in the form of training programs. The obstacles faced by the patchwork industry in the empowerment process are internal and external factors. The results achieved in the empowerment of the patchwork handicraft industry are labor absorption, increased income, increased education, the community becomes more independent, and the economy of the Sukamulya Village community increases.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, teenagers are busy with technological developments where social media has much influence on the lives of teenagers at this time. The influence of technological advances impacts cultural change, and today's young people imitate many foreign cultures. This will continue to shape life in the future. If juvenile delinquency continues, then public trust in adolescents will decrease. This study aimed to find out about the program, implementation, and results of youth empowerment. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach to provide an overview through observational data, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that IRMAS in Ciater Village carried out youth empowerment through the Ramadhan santri boarding school program, lanterns for village children, and creative workshops. The implementation process is through planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The results of empowerment can increase understanding and channel the potential in members, the emergence of member participation in empowerment programs, and youth involvement in the organizational structure of the Ciater Village government.
