Abstract

The research evaluates the implementation of performance allowance policies for Civil Servants at Lemdiklat Polri (Indonesian National Police Education and Training Institute). The bureaucratic structure effectively supports policy implementation due to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) from the central authority serving as a reference. However, inter-organizational communication faces obstacles when interacting with employees as the target group. Information about National Police Chief Regulation Number 7 of 2022 and Employee Performance Appraisal (SKP) procedures has not been adequately communicated, leading to discrepancies in performance allowances and SKPs.Insufficient human resources can impact the policy's success, especially in Lemdiklat Polri's Human Resources Department (Bag SDM Rorenmin). However, infrastructure and facilities seem adequate to support policy implementation. Policy implementers still lack a high commitment to their duties as per National Police Chief Regulation Number 7 of 2020. Delays in monthly performance allowance disbursement are common due to tardiness in attendance summaries and processing requests. This reflects that policy commands aren't fully executed by the target group, primarily due to ineffective communication influencing their behaviour. Addressing these challenges is essential to implement performance allowance policies at Lemdiklat Polri successfully. Keywords:  Compliance, Performance Allowances and National Police Chief Regulation Number 7 of 2020

Abstract

The primary objective of companies involved in the production process is profitability, achieved through optimizing labor, raw materials, and resources. This continual improvement results in a robust production system geared towards generating significant profits. A prevalent method for ongoing refinement is the application of Quality Control Circles (QCC). This research focuses on assessing productivity improvements in the K84 Line Steering Handle following the implementation of QCC methodologies. It aims to understand the factors affecting productivity and applies QCC techniques to enhance efficiency. The research reveals promising findings, indicating that QCC-driven enhancements have substantially reduced cycle times across workstations. This reduction directly contributes to increased production output for the K84 Line Steering Handle. The utilization of QCC methods has proven remarkably effective, elevating efficiency levels from 65% to an impressive 92% and concurrently reducing manpower requirements by 3. In summary, this research emphasizes the transformative impact of QCC practices on productivity, highlighting substantial gains in output efficiency and resource optimization for the K84 Line Steering Handle. The integration of QCC-driven improvements has proven instrumental in achieving these positive outcomes. Keywords: Quality Control Circle, Seven Tools and Productivity

Abstract

This research starts at the root of the problem of investor irrationality in the capital market. A series of studies in the last decade show that investors tend to behave irrationally, and phenomena or anomalies are repeatedly found in the capital market or financial markets that are not in line with standard/traditional finance theory or conventional/orthodox economics theory. This research aims to determine the impact of availability bias, representative bias, and fear of missing out (FOMO) on investment decisions and investment performance, and to find out that FOMO can act as a mediating variable between these relationships. The population in this study were all investors who traded in the Indonesian capital market through brokerage houses in several cities in Indonesia, and the sample size was 116 respondents, using a purposive sampling technique. The data used is primary data, data collection techniques use questionnaires. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data analysis technique with the SmartPLS analysis tool. The research results show that availability bias has a positive and significant impact on investment decisions and investment performance. Representative bias has a negative and insignificant impact on investment decisions, but representative bias has a positive and significant impact on investment performance. FOMO has a positive and significant impact on investment decisions and investment performance. Availability bias and representative bias have a positive and significant impact on FOMO. FOMO partially mediates the relationship between availability bias towards investment decisions and investment performance, then representative bias towards investment performance, but FOMO fully mediates the relationship between representative bias towards investment decisions. The results of this research would contribute to the development of knowledge about behavioral finance and have theoretical and policy implications for Indonesian retail investors.  Keywords: Availability Bias, Representative Bias, Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), Investment Decisions, and Investment Performance

Abstract

This study investigates the moderating effect of environmental knowledge on the relationship between green marketing mix and purchase intentions. As consumer environmental awareness rises, so does the trend towards green consumption. However, a purchase intention, or willingness to buy green products, must precede actual green purchasing behavior. This research employs a quantitative survey design. Participants are randomly selected from a database of Instagram visitors and followers. A sample of 100 respondents is gathered using incidental sampling methods. Data is collected through a survey link. SEM analysis is used to analyze the data. The green marketing mix significantly impacts purchase intention, with environmental knowledge acting as a moderator. A T-test reveals a significant difference between the original sample's -0.112 and 0.000 significance values of 1.963 and 1.963, respectively. This suggests that the green marketing mix has a stronger influence on purchase intention than environmental knowledge. Keywords: Environmental Knowledge; Green Marketing Mix; Purchase Intention.

Abstract

The professionalism of State Security Directorate personnel is crucial for achieving superior, sharp, and reliable security intelligence. However, there is ambiguity in the placement of operational supervisory roles within the Directorate. The researcher identifies performance, competence, Loyalty, and accountability as key factors influencing the professionalism of the Indonesian National Police Security Intelligence's operational supervisory personnel (BOP). The research's primary objective is to analyze the issues surrounding the mismatch between BOP placements and operational directorate needs. It also aims to devise effective strategies to enhance BOP personnel professionalism. The research employs qualitative methods, including literature review, observations at the State Security Directorate, and interviews. The findings reveal three main issues. First, suboptimal professionalism is attributed to inadequate technical, managerial, and sociocultural competencies affecting performance. Second, the soft tools, such as career policies and functional positions in the Security Intelligence operational directorate, need optimization. Finally, increased performance, competence, Loyalty, and accountability are vital drivers for enhancing the professionalism of operational supervisory personnel within the State Security Directorate of the Indonesian National Police Security Intelligence Agency. Keywords: performance, competence, Loyalty, accountability and professionalism
