This research investigates the influence of social media on political change and the role of digital activism, with a particular emphasis on the obstacles of disinformation and polarism. The employed approach is a qualitative research examining literature pertinent to network society, political participation, and collective action theories. The findings indicate that social media enhances and broadens political mobilization by reducing participation barriers, enabling individuals to engage in political activity more inclusively. Nonetheless, obstacles such as political polarization and the proliferation of disinformation pose substantial impediments to the efficacy of digital engagement. In Indonesia, the polarization problem is intensified by using social media in political campaigns and social movements, with echo chambers and filter bubbles amplifying ideological distinctions. Moreover, pervasive disinformation disseminated via platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter frequently distorts public sentiment and erodes political movements' legitimacy. In conclusion, although social media possesses significant potential to enhance political engagement and organize the populace, the obstacles presented by polarization and disinformation impede the enduring efficacy of political transformation instigated by digital activism. Consequently, enhanced digital literacy and more stringent laws are essential to tackle these challenges and ensure that social media is a potent instrument for fortifying democracy.

This paper examines the development of the energy sector in the Islamic world, focusing on the challenges and opportunities facing Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries in the transition to sustainable energy. Despite being rich in natural resources, many Islamic countries are still dependent on fossil fuels and face constraints in universal energy access. This study analyzes the current energy landscape in OIC countries, identifies key barriers to energy development, and emphasizes the need for a new roadmap that integrates knowledge and development. The research also investigates the potential role of Islamic finance in funding sustainable energy projects, with a particular focus on innovations such as green sukuk. The global trend towards renewable energy and sustainable development is discussed in the context of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The study finds that despite facing significant challenges, the Islamic world has a great opportunity to take the lead in the global energy transition by utilizing natural resources, innovative financial instruments, and a commitment to sustainable development. In conclusion, this journal highlights the importance of international collaboration, knowledge transfer, and sustainable investment in realizing a cleaner and more sustainable energy future for the Islamic world and the global community.

The term "Big Data" is used to describe a collection of data that is both vast in scale and highly complex, and which is expected to continue growing in size. The indication of a secular collection, processing, and use of big data makes it imperative to consider big data from a moral responsibility and ethical perspective. This article seeks to integrate Islamic values and principles from the perspective of Syed Naquib Al Attas, with a particular focus on ethics and morals in the context of big data. This research employs a literature review methodology with a descriptive-analytical approach, Al Attas works, and related issues. The outcome of this research is an understanding of Al Attas' perspective on Islamic thought and its implications for big data. The ideas of human nature (fitrah), manners (adab), knowledge and wisdom (‘ilm and hikmah), as well as the Islamization of knowledge, can serve as a reference point for emphasizing the importance of ethics and morals in the collection, access, and processing of Big Data. This approach can ensure the relevance of Al Attas' views and help prevent the misuse of Big Data.

The problems stemming from ISIS does not only come during the pinnacle of its campaign of terror, rather it is also available following its downfall. One prominent example would be the many former ISIS members who now wish to return home. Indonesia, having some of its citizens joining ISIS back then, made the stern call to deny their return. To this day, debates and discussions over it still remain to this day. Against that backdrop, the article seeks to explain why the aforementioned decision was made by taking into account the security dimension of the matter. In carrying out this undertaking, the writers made use of both primary and secondary data procured from the internet under the qualitative research method. The forthcoming analysis is also supported by relevant concepts and theories like national security and rational choice theory. The paper begins with an overview of the issue at hand that entails ISIS's downfall along with the fate of Indonesia citizens who partook in ISIS's campaign of terror. Additional discussion is also provided as to how such a decision stands amidst Indonesia's commitment to the global human rights regime and why it still pales in importance to said security considerations.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are currently a sector that plays an important role in increasing economic stability in Indonesia. However, one of the crucial obstacles related to the development of micro businesses is limited capital and low access to sources of capital. Sharia securities crowdfunding is a form of innovation in the field of financial technology that offers alternative solutions for MSME players in obtaining funding. However, sharia securities crowdfunding is not without risk analysis. Some of the other risks of crowdfunding are inadequate regulatory and regulatory frameworks, low public awareness and trust, and the risk of dehumanization that has potential to occur in crowdfunding due to a lack of communication between fundraisers and funders. Meanwhile, the advantages of investing in Sharia SCF are that there is no collateral obligation to obtain funding, easier access to capital, and companies and investors can monitor the progress of the Crowdfunding being carried out. Sharia securities crowdfunding is also considered the best alternative when SMEs struggle to have access to traditional funding, this is because crowdfunding is able to provide speed and accessibility.
