Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of the Tuberculosis Control Acceleration Team (TP2TB) in handling tuberculosis (TB) cases in children aged 0–14 years in Padang City. This study was motivated by the increasing number of childhood TB cases in Padang City, which has become the region with the highest number of cases in West Sumatra Province over the past five years. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the Padang City Health Office, TP2TB members, health workers, and other related parties. The research analysis used Steensen's (2014) theory on five types of organizational strategies: joint strategies, hidden strategies, false strategies, learning strategies, and realized strategies. The results of the study indicate that TP2TB has implemented various strategies through strengthening cross-sector coordination, increasing early detection, providing Tuberculosis Preventive Therapy (TPT), and educating the public about TB in children. However, the implementation of the strategy still faces several obstacles such as low public awareness, limited coordination between agencies, low TPT achievement, and a suboptimal reporting system. Efforts to address these challenges include increasing outreach, strengthening cross-sector collaboration, optimizing case monitoring, and enhancing the capacity of healthcare workers. This research is expected to provide evaluation and recommendations to support the acceleration of TB elimination in Padang City.

Abstract

The rapid urban development in Bengkulu City has raised serious concerns regarding compliance with Building Setback Line (GSB) regulations, particularly along Jalan K.Z. Abidin I. This study aims to examine the implementation of GSB provisions based on Bengkulu Mayor Regulation Number 38 of 2018 concerning Road Classification and Fence Setback Line/Building Setback Line, as well as to analyze the efforts of the local government in enforcing these provisions. The research employs a normative juridical method with a statute approach and a conceptual approach, utilizing primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials analyzed through qualitative descriptive-analytical techniques. The findings reveal that Jalan K.Z. Abidin I is classified as a Secondary Collector Road with a required GSP/GSB of 10/20 meters, yet numerous permanent structures continue to violate these standards, reflecting a significant gap between das sollen and das sein. The Bengkulu City Government through the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (DPUPR) and the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) has undertaken preventive measures such as issuing regulations, implementing building permit mechanisms, and conducting public outreach, as well as repressive measures including field inspections, direct measurements, and the issuance of graduated warning letters. However, law enforcement has remained ineffective and inconsistent due to the lack of political will on the part of the local government, limited institutional capacity, low public legal awareness, and disparities in enforcement that contradict the principle of equality before the law.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of product differentiation strategies in enhancing the competitiveness of culinary micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), focusing on Ayam Geprek and Penyet Memei 2. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method to gain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving business owners and consumers. The findings reveal that product differentiation is implemented through unique menu variations, distinctive flavors, and consistent product quality, which contribute to shaping positive consumer perceptions. In addition, the use of digital media such as social platforms supports marketing activities, although it has not been fully optimized. The study also identifies several operational challenges, including rising costs of supporting materials and limited managerial resources. Overall, the results indicate that product differentiation plays a significant role in strengthening business competitiveness. However, sustainable development requires continuous innovation, effective marketing strategies, and improved operational management to maintain long-term business viability.

Abstract

The advancement of the digital economy encourages micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt in order to remain competitive amid increasingly intense market competition. However, many MSMEs in Indonesia have not yet utilized digital technology optimally due to limited access to training and low levels of digital literacy. This study aims to examine the role of digital transformation as a strategy for strengthening MSME competitiveness in the digital economy era. This research employed a qualitative approach using a library research method, in which secondary data were obtained through the review of various scientific journals, research reports, and academic publications relevant to digital transformation and MSME development. The findings indicate that digital transformation contributes significantly to enhancing MSME competitiveness through three main dimensions: operational efficiency, expanded market access through e-commerce and social media, and strengthened business resilience. Nevertheless, challenges such as limited human resource capacity and weak supporting ecosystems remain major obstacles. The implications of this study highlight the need for synergy among business actors, government institutions, and training organizations to create a conducive digital ecosystem for the sustainable growth of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' ability to write environmental-themed poetry, outline the creative process, and identify obstacles faced. The research method used was descriptive with a mixed approach, namely qualitative and quantitative. The subjects were six eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Patimpeng. Data collection techniques included observation of the learning process, poetry writing tests, and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the average student activity was in the Good category (3.57), with the highest scores in the aspects of readiness and environmental observation, and the lowest scores in the aspects of idea development and language use. Based on the test results, students' abilities were divided into three categories: one student (16.67%) in the Good category, three students (50%) in the Average category, and two students (33.33%) in the Poor category. The main obstacles identified were difficulty in determining titles, constructing beautiful diction, and selecting appropriate figures of speech. Strategies used by students to overcome these difficulties included re-observing the environment, searching for references online, and discussing with teachers and friends. It was concluded that despite the students' high enthusiasm, their mastery of poetic techniques still needs to be improved through intensive practice.
