Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KDMP) in strengthening the village economy, using the lens of good governance and social capital. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, referring to academic journals, books, and government policy documents as sources of information. The research shows that KDMP plays a significant role in improving the welfare of village communities by strengthening productive businesses, expanding access to capital, creating job opportunities, and developing local economic potential. The application of good governance principles such as transparency, accountability, and community participation is a crucial factor in the successful management of the cooperative. In addition, social capital such as mutual assistance, trust, and community collaboration also contribute to the sustainability of the village cooperative. However, the implementation of KDMP still has a number of challenges, including a shortage of human resources, limited cooperative management, and low digital literacy. Therefore, government support and capacity building of cooperative managers are crucial for KDMP to function as a tool for sustainable village economic development

Abstract

The dynamics of the global coffee industry during the 2024–2026 period were characterized by significant fluctuations that placed Starbucks in a vulnerable position due to multidimensional reputation crises, ranging from geopolitical sentiments to industrial relations tensions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Public Relations (PR) management strategies and integrated media models in restoring brand equity post-crisis. The research method applied is descriptive qualitative with a conceptual analysis approach, relying on digital literature studies and the collection of secondary data from international reputation research firm reports and credible mass media documentation. The research results indicate that the drastic decline in the Brand Strength Index was successfully mitigated through a strategic narrative transition from service efficiency toward the reinforcement of the original "The Third Place" identity. The utilization of data-driven Owned Media channels through loyalty applications proved to be the most crucial instrument in maintaining consumer retention amidst the global boycott. The research conclusion emphasizes that brand resilience in the era of digital volatility depends not only on rhetoric but on the synchronization between adaptive leadership, operational transparency, and the integration of an agile PESO communication model. This study provides a theoretical contribution regarding the importance of managing "reputation capital" through consistent sustainability commitments to maintain a balance between profitability and corporate communication ethics in an increasingly polarized global market

Abstract

This study is motivated by the escalation of mass protests in Pati Regency throughout 2025, triggered by significant increases in Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) rates and prolonged agrarian disputes in the Kendeng Mountains region. These socio-political tensions indicate weaknesses in public communication governance between local government authorities and local communities. This conceptual article employs an integrative literature review combined with a descriptive-analytical approach to secondary data derived from media transcripts, fiscal policy documents, and legal studies on public order management. The findings reveal that the protests were fundamentally driven by a public communication crisis rather than merely fiscal or agrarian policy issues. The implementation of coercive one-way communication and confrontational rhetoric by government elites undermined relational trust and threatened the communal dignity of citizens. Furthermore, post-crisis apology strategies were perceived as insufficiently authentic when not accompanied by substantive corrective actions. The study concludes that the formal legal validity of local regulations does not guarantee successful implementation without obtaining a community's Social License to Operate (SLO). Therefore, this article proposes the Symmetrical Community Engagement (SCE) framework as a new paradigm for repositioning public sector public relations toward a proactive and participatory approach from the pre-legislative stage to support democratic governance

Abstract

The phenomenon of radical transparency in the Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) industry in 2025 triggered a reputation crisis and a massive erosion of customer loyalty. This crisis began with negative sentiment on social media that led to surprise inspections by regulatory authorities of the industry leader's "Mountain Spring" claim. The unpreparedness of the communication infrastructure in presenting technical data in real time led to a decline in brand image and a significant correction in market share to a critical figure of 47.4%. This article aims to formulate a conceptual framework for adaptive and data-driven PR presentation techniques through the integration of real-time data visualization and narrative reframing strategies. The method used is a descriptive conceptual analysis by evaluating the chronology of incidents and PR responses during the crisis. The analysis results show that unidirectional communication patterns and static presentation materials are deemed to fail to face viral and spontaneous public audits in the digital space. As a theoretical and practical contribution, this article proposes a new model, The Spontaneous Technical Presentation Model, and recommendations for the development of a Crisis Presentation Kit for the FMCG industry. Through a theoretical approach that expands the theory of Image Restoration, this study confirms that corporate image restoration in the digital era is highly dependent on the precision and transparency of visual data presented during field qualification

Abstract

This study shows that Coffee Shop Bhineka Muda Denpasar as one of the businesses in the culinary field faces quite tight competition with many new coffee shops emerging. This competition does not only occur in terms of price, but also in product quality, place concept, and presence in digital media. The population in this study was 975 people with a sample of 98 respondents, using Quantitative and Qualitative data types collected from primary and secondary sources both through documents, Questionnaires and the internet analyzed using Multiple linear regression analysis with the help of a computer using SPSS Version 26.0. The results of the study indicate that partially there is a positive and significant influence between the Price variable (X1), the Product Quality variable (X₂), the Online Customer Review variable (X₃) on Consumer Purchase Interest (Y) at Coffee Shop Bhineka Muda Denpasar. Simultaneously, there is a positive and significant influence between the Influence of Price (X₁), Product Quality (X₂) and Online Customer Review (X₃) on Consumer Purchase Interest (Y) at the Bhineka Muda Denpasar Coffee Shop. The Bhineka Muda Denpasar Coffee Shop is advised to implement an integrated marketing strategy by aligning competitive pricing, maintaining product quality consistency, and managing the reputation of online customer reviews simultaneously, because these three factors have been proven to have a positive and significant influence simultaneously on consumer purchase interest so that the combination of the three will have a maximum impact on increasing sales

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to utilize social media as the main instrument in building brand awareness. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a field research type (field research). Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews with six sources (owner, financial manager, social media team, admin, crew, and customers), and documentation of the content of the TikTok account @mtm43surabaya. The results of the study show that: (1) MTMSBY43 implements a digital branding strategy with three main components, namely brand positioning as a social-based one-stop solution, a brand identity that focuses on a human-centered service approach, and a brand personality that reflects the character of local youth who are solution-oriented and socially concerned; (2) MTMSBY43 TikTok content is classified into three pillars, namely humanistic and realistic content (daily vlogs & live documentation), educational and transparent content (service portfolio), and humorous content (entertainment & engagement content) that builds high organic appeal; (3) TikTok acts as a primary growth driver for MTMSBY43's brand awareness through three mechanisms: creating brand recognition through the FYP algorithm, which reaches new audiences; driving brand recall through consistent uploads and a distinctive communication style; and building customer trust and brand loyalty through responsive two-way interactions

Abstract

To optimize public sector organizational efficiency, this study examines how employee loyalty at the Karanganyar Regency DPRD Secretariat is influenced by job burnout, work-life balance, and employee engagement. Employing a quantitative approach with total sampling (saturation sampling), all 41 active staff members served as respondents through a digital questionnaire utilizing a five-point Likert scale. Data analysis applied multiple linear regression via SPSS, undergoing instrument testing (Pearson validity and Cronbach's alpha reliability) alongside classical assumption tests. Collectively, the F-test results demonstrate that these three aspects contribute significantly to job loyalty. Nevertheless, partial T-test analysis reveals that physical exhaustion shows no meaningful dependency, yielding a calculated t-value of −1.059 and a significance level of 0.296. A similar pattern occurs in work-life balance, which generates a t-score of −0.571 (sig. = 0.571). Conversely, employee engagement proves to be the most dominant determinant with a strong positive effect, where the t-value reaches 6.031, p = 0.000, and a standardized beta coefficient of 0.718. This model yields an Adjusted R Square value of 0.577. This indicates that 57.7% of loyalty variability is explained by the independent variables, while the remaining portion is influenced by unobserved external factors. Consequently, strengthening employee engagement serves as the primary tactical instrument for maintaining staff loyalty within the institution

Abstract

This paper studies the effect of capital expenditure (CAPEX) and sales growth on Indonesian manufacturing firms profitability, controlling for firm size and debt to equity ratio (DER). Profitability is defined by Return on Assets (ROA). The analysis uses financial data from Bloomberg for an initial frame of 345 listed manufacturing firms over the period 2021–2024. After winsorising the continuous variables at the 1st and 99th percentiles and deleting incomplete firm-years, the working sample is an unbalanced panel of 1,223 firm-year observations from 332 firms. Static panel estimators were evaluated, and the Hausman test (χ²(4) = 34.40, p < 0.001) and the redundant fixed-effects test (F(331, 887) = 5.99, p < 0.001) supported a fixed-effects specification, estimated with standard errors clustered by firm. The results indicate that CAPEX has a statistically significant association with ROA (β = −16.55, p = 0.020). Given that CAPEX is recorded as a negative cash-outflow ratio, it means that higher investment intensity is related to higher profitability. Sales growth has a positive and substantial effect on ROA (β = 1.33, p < 0.001) and DER has a negative and significant effect (β = −0.015, p < 0.001), while firm size is not significant within firms. The findings are consistent with the resource-based view and pecking-order thinking and give practical implications for capital-budgeting and financing decisions in the post-pandemic recovery.
