Abstract

One way to obtain competitive human resources is by making employees aware of their potential according to their skills. To make employees aware of their potential, one program that companies can implement is a planned and continuous career development program. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of career development on auditor performance. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach. A total of 250 respondents of auditors were collected for this study from auditors working at public sector organizations in Indonesia. The sampling technique used was random sampling, and the data analysis technique employed was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of this study show that career development has a positive effect on motivation, affective commitment, perceived organizational support, and performance. Furthermore, motivation, affective commitment, and perceived organizational support are able to mediate the influence of career development on auditor performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of people's business credit on the development of small and medium enterprises, increased output, and unemploymsent in Central Sulawesi by analyzing it from a micro and macro perspective. The micro aspect will analyze the effect of People's Business Credit (KUR) on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) business actors who will utilize primary data with the scope of the research area including: Palu City; Banggai Regency; Poso Regency; Toli-Toli District; and Poso District. Meanwhile, the macro aspect will utilize the Simultaneous Equation method to see the effect of increasing capital (KUR) on output and employment. The results show that people's business credit has a significant and positive effect on the business profits of the recipient of the credit. In addition, there was an increase in labor after receiving credit by 1%. The suggestion put forward is that the addition of working capital from KUR continues to be increased, this is because the addition of labor is proven to increase sales turnover and business profits.

The preservation and protection of artistic legacies in the music industry have become increasingly crucial in an era marked by digital proliferation and widespread accessibility. This paper explores the topic of legal safeguards for intellectual property rights (IPR) in the music industry, focusing on the significance of copyright protection, licensing agreements, and the enforcement of legal provisions. The challenges posed by digital piracy, unauthorized distribution, and emerging technologies are examined, considering their transformative impact on music consumption and copyright enforcement. The paper emphasizes the importance of comprehensive policies and effective legal frameworks to address these challenges and ensure the integrity of intellectual property rights. It highlights the role of public awareness, education campaigns, and international cooperation in cultivating respect for intellectual property rights and discouraging piracy. By recognizing the value of intellectual property rights, nations can create an environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and sustainable progress in the music industry. The findings of this paper provide valuable insights for policymakers, industry professionals, and artists, contributing to a deeper understanding of the critical role played by legal mechanisms in preserving and sustaining artistic legacies.

Abstract

Every type of worship has pillars and conditions for the worship to be considered valid, as is the case with the worship of fasting during Ramadan and the pilgrimage of Hajj. However, the menstrual cycle often becomes an issue for women in performing the Hajj pilgrimage and fasting during Ramadan, as Islamic law prohibits women who are menstruating from engaging in worship. The advancement of knowledge and technology has given rise to a product, namely medications related to the menstrual cycle, medicines to accelerate or delay menstruation. The use of these medications has sparked discussions among Islamic jurists (fuqaha), Muslim scholars, and medical experts, as this issue pertains to the needs of the Muslim community. The absence of clear textual evidence (nash) from the Qur'an and the Sunnah has led to debates among jurists regarding deriving legal rulings on the matter of using medications related to the menstrual cycle. Scholars, in formulating the ruling on the consumption of such medications, base their conclusions on the method of maslahah mursalah (unrestricted public interest).

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain whether the formulation of village regulations in the Pringgasela Sub-district has internalized Pancasila values during the process of regulation-making. Additionally, this research examines the strategic steps undertaken to internalize Pancasila values into village regulations within the Pringgasela Sub-district. This study adopts a normative research approach that employs the statutory approach, conceptual approach, and sociological approach. The findings reveal that the formulation of village regulations in the Pringgasela Sub-district has not fully addressed the legal needs of the local community. These regulations have not been developed using appropriate methodologies and techniques aligned with Pancasila values. Meanwhile, to internalize Pancasila values in the formulation of village regulations in the Pringgasela Sub-district, several strategies are employed. These strategies include education and awareness of Pancasila values, community participation in village regulation formation, integration of Pancasila values into village regulation texts, oversight and law enforcement, collaboration and synergy with relevant institutions, training and capacity building of village officials, development of Pancasila-based programs and activities, and ongoing evaluation and improvement of village regulations.

Abstract

This research aims to assess students’ proficiency in the 2004 competency-based curriculum for learning Arabic. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study thoroughly delves into the subject matter, providing a comprehensive and detailed analysis. The data analysis methodology raises concerns about the quality of teaching aids employed in Grade V of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) for Arabic language instruction. The findings of this study reveal that the case falls short of meeting the criteria for all four 2004 Competency-Based Curiculum (CBC) competencies. The academic competence lacks clarity as the instructional approach primarily focuses on mastering hiwar, qira’ah, and insya’ muwajjah (dialogue, reading, and directed writing); occupational competence does not establish a tangible connection with real-world application for students; cultural competence does not incorporate materials that promote appreciation for student diversity; and temporal competence fails to establish relevant material connections. The absence of these competencies in the curriculum renders the four language skills inconsequential to students’ proficiency in studying Arabic in Grade V of MI under the 2004 PBC. Consequently, further studies are imperative to ensure the effective implementation of CBC across all educational levels, including Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Madrasah Tsanawiyah, and Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship training is a crucial step in the process of developing quality human resources. This community service is conducted with the primary objective of empowering women in Sungai Penuh City by enhancing their entrepreneurial knowledge, leading to increased family income and economic stability. The entrepreneurship socialization and training program witnessed participation from 103 attendees, mainly students affiliated with the Dharma Wanita of Sungai Penuh City who displayed a keen interest in entrepreneurship. The training sessions focused on delivering comprehensive education and guidance in both traditional and digital marketing aspects of entrepreneurship. The outcome of this initiative is reflected in the training's results, which indicated that among the 103 participants, only three individuals faced persistent challenges in comprehension. Consequently, it can be inferred that the goals of this endeavor have been successfully attained.

The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted education globally, leading to academic delays for students at all levels. This paper explores the adverse psychological outcomes of these delays, focusing on higher education students. The shift to remote learning introduced challenges in self-discipline, isolation, and technology access, impacting students' emotional well-being. Uncertainty about academic timelines intensified stress, anxiety, and eroded confidence. Students navigated this uncertainty through coping mechanisms such as virtual support networks, mindfulness practices, and engaging in hobbies. Educational institutions played a critical role by providing mental health resources, fostering flexibility, and addressing the digital divide. The paper underscores the need for holistic approaches to education, adaptive curriculum design, resilience-building, educator training, and collaborative support systems. The pandemic offers an opportunity to redefine success in terms of adaptability and emotional well-being, preparing students for a changing world.

Abstract

Agricultural marketing encompasses the movement of goods, ownership transfer, and the creation of utility in time, place, and form. Marketing institutions execute functions to facilitate this process. This research aims to understand the rice marketing margin. The respondents in this study are rice farmers in the Toili sub-district of Banggai Regency. The selection of respondents was deliberate, considering that the Toili sub-district is a center of rice production in Banggai Regency. The data analysis used quantitative methods to calculate the marketing margin. The research results indicate that the rice marketing channels from farmers are directed to both collector traders and directly to consumers. The marketing margin for rice is Rp. 1000 Indonesian Rupiah, where the selling price from rice farmers to collector traders is Rp. 13,000 and the resale price to consumers is Rp. 14,000. The research findings reveal that the efficiency of the rice marketing channel in the Toili sub-district has a value of 28.57%, which is below the threshold of 50% indicating efficient marketing channels.

Abstract

This study aims to delve deeper into the subject of samsarah in insurance marketing, with a specific focus on family takaful insurance companies. The research methodology involves conducting a literature review by collecting relevant materials and examining all sources pertaining to the laws of family takaful insurance. Subsequently, the collected data will be carefully analyzed to distinguish between information considered accurate and inaccurate. The findings of this study indicate that the system employed in family takaful is genuinely based on cooperation (tabarru). Family takaful insurance applies a risk-sharing principle that is materialized through the collection of tabarru funds, fostering solidarity, mutual protection, and strong bonds among participants. The role of a family takaful insurance agent extends beyond merely selling takaful products. They provide valuable assistance by sharing information with insurance participants. This may include organizing workshops that highlight the advantages and benefits of family takaful insurance. These workshops serve to enhance participants' understanding and confidence in the knowledge conveyed by sharia-compliant insurance agents, thereby increasing awareness of the significance of the benefits associated with family takaful insurance.
