Abstract

Tiwoho mangrove forest islocated in north coast of North Sulawesi province. This area functions as life buffer system for community and sustainability of Bunaken National Park. Due to the important and strategic roles of mangrove in protection and ecological functions, therefore, it is needed to know scientific information about mangrove population dynamics. This research aims to know the vegetation composition and structure vegetation of Tiwoho mangrove forest. Data collection used 20x20 m sample plots that were sistematically laid from the sea to the land side up to the highest tidal line. Distance between plots along 25 m. Results showed that at tree level Sonneratia alba had the highest Important Value Index (IVI) of 206,88 % and Brugueira sp of 46,06 %. Although Rhizopora apiculata value is lower than Brugueira sp. But the values of relative frequency of these species are almost similar. It means that both species are frequently found in observation plots. Rhizophora apiculata dominate at pole and sapling levels, but frequency of occurance this species is lower than Brugueira sp in pole level.

Abstract

Abstract

Kata Kunci : A  profilin Toxoplasma gondii, TLR-11dipocytokines (IL-6, TNF α), adipose subkutan, disfungsi adiposit,

Abstract

The Incidence of Indonesia breast cancer case in 2018 was reported at 20.7% or 160,653 in number. The factors that caused breast cancer is TP53 gene mutation and Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP). This study aimed to determine the mutation and Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) of TP53 gene in breast cancer. Samples of this study were 9 people chosen based on a purposive technique. The methods include total DNA isolation, DNA quantification, PCR, and sequencing. The results of the sequencing were then analyzed using alignment and blast. The SNP is browsed by the SNP finder on NCBI both followed by protein modeling. The results of this study indicate the existence of mutation in the exon and intron regions. Substitution of Guanine (G) to base Adenine (A) is occur in codon 496 which is a coding region. SNP was also obtained in exon of sample 12. The conclusion of this study is breast cancer can be caused by mutations that occur in the exon and altered the structur of protein structure, so then affect the binding affinity between p53 and its target domain. Tp53 gene mutation is not the only cause of breast cancer staging development, there are other genes that also contribute to the development of cancer stage. In addition, Single Nucleotide Polymorphism in the TP53 gene can be used as a predisposition marker of breast cancer that has potential to be inherited

Abstract

The density of the vehicle and the length of trip on the Cipularang Toll Road (around 57.5 km) can make the driver feel bored and decrease concentration. Driving a vehicle in a saturated state can endanger yourself and others. The decrease in concentration can cause unfavorable views, causing accidents. So resting is one of the most important needs in driving. In accordance with Government Regulation No.15 of 2005, regarding the technical requirements of toll road construction, that there must be a place of rest and services for the benefit of toll road users at least 1 for every 50 km distance in each direction. The presence of the KM 97 resting place in Cipularang Toll Road can help drivers and passengers to meet all their personal needs. The problem is how the manager of the resort serves visitors to meet the needs of the resort. Minimum Service Standards (SPM) are guidelines that govern the standards of resort services. Each resort does not necessarily have the same facilities and services. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the facilities and services of the Cipularang Toll KM 97 resting place. The method to be used is the measurement of service quality with the importance performance analysis (IPA) method. Parking needs on Sundays = 375 vehicles> rather than parking capacity = 321 available vehicles. The level of satisfaction of respondents to all points regarding the reliability of the infrastructure of the resort both in terms of aspects of transportation and service facilities get a value of 80.32% which means very good.

Abstract

Abstract

Mathematical proofing ability is important to learn because it is very influential on the ability of mathematics. The low ability of mathematical proofing is still a problem that is often encountered. Therefore, the low capability of the evidence needs to be explored to know the root of the more detailed problems to be used as initial data so that the solution becomes more precise and effective. Some researchers claim that gender differences also affect mathematical skills. This study aimed to determine the errors and causes in the proof of geometry regarding gender differences. This research was qualitative descriptive research conducted in the Department of Mathematics Education Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Syiah Kuala University with subject consisting of male and female students. Techniques of collecting data were done through tests and interviews. Data analysis was done based on Miles and Huberman stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The error data compiling the geometry proof was analyzed based on Newmann Error Analysis (NEA). The results showed that: 1) mistakes made by male students tend to Process Skill Error; 2) mistakes made by female students tend to Transformation Error; 3) the cause of errors due to the lack of understanding of the concepts (definition, theorem, illustrations, and usefulness) of the students, the lack of logical knowledge and the structure of the method of proof (the way of conclusion either direct or indirect evidence) limitations of language and notation, and lack of care in the settlement procedure. Keywords: students’ errors, geometric proof, gender differences.
