Abstract

The role of technology today has a big influence on education. Technology can be utilized by teachers and students in the teaching and learning process. One technology that can be used is learning media, one of which is the Wordwall game. This research aims to provide a description and study regarding the use of the Wordwall game application in learning to foster students' interest in learning in elementary schools. In this research, researchers used qualitative research and used descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this research show that the use of wordwall as an evaluation tool at SDN 2 Jabung in class IV science subjects is able to attract students' interest and attention.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the implementation of the P5 (Profil Pelajar Pancasila) strengthening project on student character at SMA Negeri 1 Medan. The research method used is quantitative with correlation analysis techniques, coefficient of determination, and T-test. The research sample is 100 students who were selected randomly. The results of the study showed that there was a significant positive influence between the implementation of the P5 strengthening project and the character of students at SMA Negeri 1 Medan. The coefficient of determination of 0.223 indicates that 22.3% of the variation in student character is influenced by the P5 strengthening project.The findings of this study show that the P5 strengthening project is one of the effective strategies for developing student character at SMA Negeri 1 Medan.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period full of physical, emotional and social changes. During this period, junior high school students are faced with various challenges, such as increasingly high academic demands, social pressure from peers, and the search for identity. This can cause confusion, stress, and anxiety, which can ultimately affect student achievement. One factor that can help students face this challenge is to have hope about life. Students who have hope for life will be able to regulate emotions and behavior, and make the right decisions according to their culture. He will build healthy relationships with other people and set realistic life goals to achieve them. Established expectations help students to: develop an understanding of their values ​​and beliefs. Hope is useful for identifying what is important to them in life. Students are able to set realistic life goals and achieve them. Apart from that, it is hoped that it will increase students' resilience in facing challenges. Resilience in students will make students able to overcome pain and difficulties by becoming adaptable and resilient.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low level of critical thinking skills and students' learning motivation in social studies learning. The reason is because learning is only one way, so students cannot think critically in solving problems, teachers do not use varied models so students find it difficult to understand social studies learning concepts, students are not able to realize learning in everyday life so student learning outcomes do not meet KKM standards. An effort to overcome this problem is by applying the LENTERA model in learning. This research used Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out at four meetings. The research subjects were 19 class V students at SDN Kebun Bunga 6 Banjarmasin in the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Qualitative data was obtained through observing teacher activities, student activities, critical thinking skills and student learning motivation using observation sheets. Quantitative data is the acquisition of student learning outcomes through group and individual written test assessments. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive cross-tabulation analysis, explained with tables, graphs and interpretation with percentages. The results of this research show that teacher activity at meetings I to IV increased from a score of 33 to a score of 46. Student activity at meetings I to IV increased from a percentage of 47% to 89% with very active criteria. Students' critical thinking skills at meetings I to IV increased from 57% to 89% with very skilled criteria. Student learning motivation at meetings I to IV increased from a percentage of 33% to 95% with very high criteria. Completeness of student learning outcomes increased from a percentage of 42% to 100%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the use of the LENTERA model can improve the quality of teacher activities, student activities, critical thinking skills, student learning motivation and student learning outcomes. It is recommended that this research can be used as an alternative in improving critical thinking skills, student learning motivation and results. Study

Abstract

Utilizing the school environment as a learning resource can increase student involvement in the learning process. Contextual learning, involving students in exploring the surrounding environment, can create a deeper and more memorable learning experience. This research aims to find out how the school environment is used as a learning resource in class III thematic learning at SDN 136 Palembang. The method in this research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, where descriptive qualitative is a research approach that focuses on collecting, analyzing and interpreting descriptive data. This approach aims to understand and provide a detailed description of the phenomenon or context being researched. The data collection technique used observation techniques which were carried out before the research, followed by documentation techniques which were collected by the researcher, followed by interview techniques which were carried out together with the principal of SDN 136 Palembang and the homeroom teacher of Class III of SDN 136 Palembang. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the school environment as a learning resource in Class III thematic learning can be used as a learning medium to support the process of teaching and learning activities and can provide good learning outcomes for students and increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

Educational supervision plays a role in improving the quality of learning, especially in the current digital era. Educational supervision is an important activity designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of teachers, one of which is teachers in schools. The implementation of educational supervision that is adaptive to technological developments can significantly improve the quality of learning. The implications of this study are the need to improve the competence of supervisors and teachers in utilizing digital technology, as well as the development of policies that support the implementation of effective supervision in the digital era. The research method used in this study is the library research method, which involves analyzing literature related to educational supervision and digital technology.

Abstract

Effective correspondence in modern organizations, where correspondence (archives) in modern times must follow technological developments. with technology, archives will make it easier to maintain internal organizational communication in modern times. considering the advantages and disadvantages of using technology, this can be a guideline for current organizations to develop correspondence. The method used in this study is a systematic review using qualitative methods. By using technology, correspondence (archiving) will be more effective because it will maintain the flow of organizational communication and make it easier to maintain organizational letters. Changes in the management of correspondence in the modern era today need to be seen not only in a technical context. Instead, the management of correspondence here should consider the user’s perspective the dynamics of behavior and the needs of all those involved, looking at the advantages and disadvantages of digital use. However, modern organizations today must also pay attention to the needs and changes that are specifically needed for themselves. Cooperation and collaboration can support success in continuing to process in anticipate changes in management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of digital literacy in improving the character of fond of reading of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tambongwetan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which is a research method used to examine the condition of natural objects. The data feeder technique used is triangulation. Data collection through observation, in-depth interviews with principals, homeroom teachers, parents, and students. The results of this study show that digital literacy through the use of digital books, learning videos and interactive learning applications plays an important role in increasing students' interest and character in reading. Students showed an increase in the frequency of reading, the desire to find information, and the ease of access in finding subject matter and reading resources. Digital literacy also makes the reading process more interesting and interactive, so students feel more engaged and motivated to read independently. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that digital literacy has an important role in shaping the character of fond of reading in grade IV students. Effective use of digital literacy can support an innovative learning process and increase students' interest in reading. It is hoped that these findings can be a reference for schools and teachers in developing literacy programs based on digital technology.

Abstract

This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of the study were fourth-grade students of SDN Handil Bakti in the academic year 2023/2024, totaling 30 students comprising 16 boys and 14 girls. The aim of this research is to describe the activities of teachers and students, and to analyze the learning outcomes of students in implementing Social Studies (IPS) using a combination of Problem Based Learning, Contextual Teaching Learning, and Picture & Picture models in the fourth grade of SDN Handil Bakti. The results of the research revealed that the teacher's activities in the first meeting were classified as Good, reaching Very Good by the third meeting. Student activities, initially categorized as Less Active in the first meeting, significantly increased to Very Active by the third meeting. Consequently, this impacted the learning outcomes, where the classical completeness in the first meeting was classified as Not Complete, progressing to Complete by the third meeting.

Abstract

Kemandirian anak memainkan peran krusial dalam perkembangan mereka, khususnya ketika memasuki usia sekolah dasar. Kemandirian tidak hanya mencakup kemampuan fisik untuk melakukan tugas-tugas sehari-hari secara mandiri, tetapi juga melibatkan pengembangan keterampilan sosial, emosional, dan kognitif yang penting untuk kesuksesan akademik dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Peran orang tua, lingkungan sosial, dan sekolah dalam mendukung kemandirian anak juga dibahas secara mendalam. Artikel ini juga menggambarkan pendekatan praktis untuk mengembangkan kemandirian anak, termasuk penggunaan metode pembelajaran aktif seperti pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan proyek, serta implementasi pembelajaran sosial dan emosional untuk memperkuat keterampilan manajemen diri dan interaksi sosial. Tantangan seperti overprotectiveness orang tua dan kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan sosial dan sekolah juga dibahas, menekankan pentingnya kerjasama antara orang tua, guru, dan masyarakat dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung bagi perkembangan kemandirian anak. Dengan demikian, artikel ini memberikan pandangan komprehensif tentang bagaimana kemandirian anak pada usia sekolah dasar dapat diperkuat melalui pendekatan yang holistik dan terintegrasi.
