Abstract

Banjarmasin is one of the cities with a high risk of various natural disasters. This is due to its geographical location and environmental conditions that make it vulnerable to flooding and extreme weather changes. Given these potential risks, hospitals operating in Banjarmasin must have strong disaster management preparedness to face various possible disasters. Adequate preparedness is essential to minimize the negative impacts on healthcare services as well as the safety of patients and hospital staff This study aims to analyze the disaster management preparedness of hospitals in Banjarmasin. A descriptive observational study approach was used to obtain an accurate picture of their preparedness. Additionally, a semi-quantitative method was employed to measure and evaluate various aspects of preparedness in a more detailed and structured manner. The primary data for this study were collected through in-depth interviews with hospital experts. These interviews were conducted using a modified version of the Safe Hospital Checklist, which focuses on disaster management, risk management, and preparedness. The results from these interviews will be used to provide recommendations to help hospitals improve their disaster management preparedness

Abstract

This study aims to measure the trend (tendency) of teacher perceptions regarding the implementation of character education strategies at the elementary education level. This study is a quantitative study with a survey method. Data collection using a questionnaire given to 60 students and teachers as respondents from 40 schools in Lombok, Sumbawa, Bima, and Dompu. The results of the study showed that teacher perceptions of school readiness to implement character education through multi-strategy interventions at the elementary education level were the lowest at 61% and the highest at 94%, which means they were ready and very ready

Abstract

People Smuggling is often considered a violation of human rights and akin to slavery. Many factors contribute to human trafficking in Indonesia, including a population that is less aware and concerned about the issue, corrupt practices that allow access to government law enforcement agencies, and a lack of law enforcement efforts to combat human trafficking. The increasing influx of Rohingya ethnic refugees in the Aceh region has also raised concerns among the community about the potential tarnishing of Islamic law that has long been upheld by the Acehnese people. The research problems to be discussed in this study are as follows: First, how does Indonesian law address human trafficking? Second, how are criminal penalties applied to perpetrators of human trafficking in Indonesia? This research is juridical-normative legal research. Secondary data were collected through a literature study related to the legal issues or problems posed in the research. Rohingya refugees arriving in Indonesia often become victims of human trafficking, and authorities have detained several perpetrators. The Directorate General of Immigration Regulation Number IMI-1489.UM.08.05 of 2010 further regulates the handling of illegal immigrants, who are subject to immigration actions in accordance with regulations. Illegal immigrants can be subjected to various administrative actions such as inclusion on prevention lists, deportation, or revocation of residence permits. Every legal violation has consequences stipulated by criminal law, with sanctions aimed at adding suffering. Article 10 of the Criminal Code divides types of criminal penalties into principal and additional penalties. This law also prescribes punishments for labor recruitment agents involved in human trafficking, as well as employers who exploit workers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategies used by SMK Negeri 1 Tekarang in planning, implementing (in this case using), and evaluating financing from two sources of education funds, namely BOS and PBP. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method obtained from a case study. Data collection through observation, interviews, and analyzing documents related to financing management at SMK Negeri 1 Tekarang. The findings show that financing management at SMK Negeri I Tekarang has been implemented in accordance with the principles of accountability and transparency. However, there are still several challenges such as limited financial resources and the many items that need to be met so that the budget seems small. This study provides recommendations to improve the effectiveness of cash management, including strengthening staff capacity and increasing collaboration with external stakeholders. The importance of this study is expected to help improve the quality of educational resource management in these schools and help them achieve better educational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of attendance, permission, sickness, and discipline on students' Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA). Consistent attendance in class allows students to follow the subject matter and participate in discussions, potentially increasing GPA. Conversely, permits and illness can interfere with the learning process and negatively impact GPA. Discipline, such as tardiness or inappropriate behavior, can also negatively affect academic performance. This study used Pearson correlation analysis to measure the relationship between independent variables (attendance, permission, illness, discipline) and GPA, as well as linear regression analysis to identify the influence of each factor. Data on attendance, permits, sickness, and discipline were collected from the academic information system for six semesters at one vocational college. The results of the analysis showed that attendance had a strong negative correlation with GPA, while sickness, permitting, and indiscipline also showed a negative relationship with GPA. The linear regression model shows that all these parameters have a negative coefficient to GPA, with permission having the greatest negative influence. This research suggests the importance of policies that encourage consistent attendance and reduce permits and attention to student health and discipline to improve academic achievement.

Abstract

Non-standard working environments can pose various hazards to workers, especially in SMEs. The potential hazards must be managed to protect workers’ safety and health, maintain product quality, and comply with applicable regulations. UKM XYZ produces processed meat products such as tofu meatballs and pempek. During the production process, the business owner has not conducted any measurement of potential hazards in the work environment. This study aims to measure and analyse the potential physical hazards in UKM XYZ. The research method used was observation and measurement of physical hazards on four variables, namely noise, lighting, and working climate, consisting of temperature and humidity. The data obtained was compared with the applicable occupational safety and health (OSH) standards. The results showed that noise levels were in accordance with the regulations because they were below the threshold limit value (TLV). Meanwhile, lighting, temperature, and humidity in the production room did not meet the TLV, potentially causing negative impacts on workers’ safety and health. UKM XYZ is recommended to take corrective actions on the ventilation system, lighting, provision of PPE, and installation of dehumidifiers. This research is expected to serve as a basis for the development of better occupational safety management in SMEs.

Abstract

This thesis concludes about Educational Service Marketing Innovation in Increasing the Interest of MTS Daarul Rahman V Students in Sungai Guntung Indragiri Hilir, Riau. This study uses a qualitative approach, with data collection through interview, observation, and document study techniques. The results of these findings reveal several things as follows: First , the Marketing carried out by MTS Daarul Rahman V Sungai Guntung Indragiri Hilir Riau has implemented various integrated marketing strategies. They made direct visits to schools around the Guntung River area, where the ustadz, ustazah, and students introduced the advantages of Islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools also take advantage of religious events such as the commemoration of maulid and isra' mi'raj for da'wah, as well as participating in the Quranic tilawatil contest. In addition, they use print media such as brochures and banners. The involvement of students in extracurricular activities such as scouting and skill demonstrations such as calligraphy is also part of an effective marketing strategy to attract interest and strengthen the positive image of the Islamic boarding school. Second , marketing innovation efforts to increase interest in MTS Daarul Rahman V Sungai Guntung Indragiri Hilir Riau include the use of technology and digital platforms, especially social media, which is the key to reaching a wider audience and increasing public awareness. The use of the latest technology in marketing can improve the efficiency of information delivery and services. The development of an effective promotion strategy and the upskilling of the marketing team are also crucial. Focusing on compelling visual marketing can increase the situational interest of prospective students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kurikulum Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) berbasis karakter yang diterapkan pada anak usia 3 hingga 24 bulan. Kurikulum ini dirancang untuk mendukung perkembangan sosial, emosional, dan moral anak sejak dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur (library research) dan observasi lapangan. Studi literatur dilakukan dengan menganalisis berbagai referensi terkait teori perkembangan anak usia dini dan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis karakter. Observasi dilakukan di beberapa lembaga PAUD untuk memahami implementasi kurikulum saat ini dan kebutuhan perkembangan karakter pada anak-anak dalam rentang usia tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum berbasis karakter ini mampu meningkatkan kemandirian, empati, rasa ingin tahu, dan kemampuan kerjasama pada anak. Pada kelompok usia 3-6 bulan, perkembangan lebih terlihat pada respons sensorik, sementara pada usia 12-24 bulan, peningkatan karakter terlihat pada kemampuan berinteraksi sosial dan penyelesaian konflik. Kurikulum ini juga mendapat respons positif dari guru dan orang tua, yang mencatat perubahan perilaku anak setelah penerapan. Meskipun ada beberapa kendala, seperti ketidaksesuaian antara lingkungan rumah dan sekolah, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan bagi pengembangan kurikulum PAUD berbasis karakter di Indonesia. Hasil temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam penyusunan kebijakan pendidikan karakter yang lebih efektif pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

The digital era is closely related to technological tools. The existence of technology is currently considered very important in human life as a suxpport in carrying out various activities both in carrying out work and in terms of education. This article aims to describe the economic challenges and opportunities of education in the digital era. The method used is a qualitative method with a scoping review type. The research data used is secondary data in the form of accredited journals during the 2014-2024 period. The keywords used in this research are Education Economy, Digital, Challenges, Opportunities. From the 10 articles analyzed, it can be seen that there are various challenges and opportunities for the education economy in the digital era. Challenges such as technological accessibility and digital reach cannot be avoided in the current digital era, limited technological accessibility, digital inequality, Digital Security and Privacy. Apart from the challenges, there are also opportunities that can be exploited in the education economy in this digital era, such as the use of technology in learning, both in terms of providing information, apart from that, financial institutions can be implemented optimally, the use of websites and applications to carry out transactions and reporting will be more effective. and efficient. Can save operational costs so that they can be diverted to developing more modern facilities and infrastructure
