Abstract

Legal politics can occur without us realizing it, one of the polemics is legal politics in carrying out the position of notary where in an area where there are many opportunities to carry out the position there is greater because it has a dense population and has high economic value, so it can give rise to competition. Therefore, there is a phenomenon of sharing space and providing space for those who need it or what is known as a serviced office. Apart from the problems regarding the increasingly dense population and the uneven distribution of notary position formations, there is also another phenomenon where notaries have office addresses that are different from their PPAT addresses, which raises the question of why this difference in address can be approved in carrying out the position of notary. This research uses normative analysis with results where the phenomenon of using a serviced office in carrying out the position of notary is certainly contrary to Article 22 of Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 30 of 2004 concerning the Position of Notary and Article 3 paragraph 8 of the Notary's Code of Ethics. . Apart from that, there are different notary offices with different PPAT addresses which of course contradicts Article 17 paragraph 1 letter (g) and 19 paragraph 2 UUJN. Then, legal action against the existence of legal politics structuring the formation of notary positions is by issuing Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 62 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 25 of 2014 concerning Requirements and Procedures for Appointment, Transfer, Dismissal and Extension of the Notary's Term of Office then Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 36 of 2015 concerning Amendments to Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights Number 26 of 2014 concerning the Formation of Notary Positions which explains in detail the distribution of Notaries and their areas of office.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at the Regional Inspectorate Office of North Sulawesi Province. The research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, where data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents. The analysis techniques employed include validity, reliability, normality, heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity tests, and multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis indicate that motivation and work discipline have a significant positive effect on employee performance. The regression test shows that the coefficient of determination (R²) is 73.4%, which means that motivation and work discipline contribute 73.4% to employee performance, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors not studied. The F-test value of 64.750 with a significance level of 0.000 indicates that the regression model, which includes motivation and work discipline, is overall significant in explaining variations in employee performance. This study provides insights that improving motivation and work discipline can significantly enhance employee performance. These findings can be used by management to formulate more effective policies to improve employee performance and contribute to the academic literature in the field of human resource management.

Abstract

Well water is one of the water sources that is still used by the community for consumption and to fulfill other household needs. Community well water near the Carolus Borromeus Hospital has the potential to become contaminated. This research was conducted to analyze the spatial distribution of well water quality around St. Carolus Borromeus Kupang. This study aims to determine the quality standards of well water around the St. Carolus Borromeus Kupang and determine the spatial distribution pattern of groundwater around St. Carolus Boromeus. The method used in this research is taking samples then analyzing them in the laboratory and then comparing the results of physical, chemical and biological analysis with the applicable water quality standards according to their intended use. The spatial distribution pattern uses the parameter distribution pattern analysis method. The research results show that based on physical, chemical and biological analysis, in hospital outlet liquid waste there are several parameters that meet quality standards, but there are parameters such as Total coliform that do not meet quality standards. The results of parameter analysis in SG1 well water which is close to the hospital, several parameters meet quality standards, but the Fecal Coliform parameter does not meet quality standards for hygienic and sanitation purposes. The level of spread of contamination from organic matter and bacteria in groundwater is influenced by the type of soil, slope and direction of groundwater flow. The lower an area, the higher it is

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Transformational Leadership on Employee Performance at the Manado Branch Office of BPJS Kesehatan. The research method used is quantitative data with a population consisting of all employees of the Manado Branch of BPJS Kesehatan, totaling 30 people. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire which was then processed using SPSS software. The results of the validity and reliability tests showed that all indicators were valid and reliable. Linearity, normality, simple linear regression, and F and t tests were carried out to analyze the data. Normality, linearity, and simple linear regression tests showed that Transformational Leadership had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 82.9% indicates that most of the variation in Employee Performance is explained by the Transformational Leadership variable. In conclusion, Transformational Leadership plays an important role in improving Employee Performance in this organization.

Abstract

This study aims to test the impact of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at BPJS Kesehatan Manado. Using simple linear regression analysis, the research examines the relationship between levels of work discipline and employee performance at the institution. Data collected through questionnaires were analyzed to determine the extent to which work discipline contributes to employee performance. The results show a regression coefficient of 0.362, indicating that each one-unit increase in work discipline is associated with a 0.362- unit improvement in employee performance. The t-statistic of 3.555 with a significance level of less than 0.001 demonstrates that the relationship between work discipline and employee performance is statistically significant. These findings underscore the importance of work discipline in enhancing employee performance at BPJS Kesehatan Manado. The study provides valuable insights for management in improving systems and policies related to work discipline to boost overall employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan PT Bank Sumut Kantor Cabang Pembantu Syariah HM Joni dalam menilai kelayakan pemohon sebagai debitur potensial dalam permohonan pembiayaan KPR iB Syariah Tapak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan data sekunder berupa dokumen permohonan pembiayaan. Analisis dilakukan terhadap kemampuan keuangan pemohon, kelayakan jaminan, dan risiko pembiayaan yang terkait, dengan harapan hasilnya dapat meningkatkan proses evaluasi dan efisiensi operasional PT Bank Sumut Kantor Cabang Pembantu Syariah HM Joni dalam penyaluran pembiayaan. Temuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam mengurangi risiko kredit serta menjadi referensi bagi peneliti dan praktisi di bidang perbankan syariah.

Abstract

This study examines the core theological ideas of Abū al-Ḥasan al-Asy’arī and Ibn Taymiyyah, drawing from their respective seminal works, which serve as primary references in this research. The theological perspectives of Abū al-Ḥasan al-Asy’arī are derived from his book “al-Ibānah ‘an Uṣūl ad-Diyānah,’’ while Ibn Taymiyyah’s ideas are sourced from “al-‘Aqīdah al-Wāsiṭiyah.” This analysis aims to compare the key theological concepts of these two figures to identify their similarities and differences. Furthermore, the study will contextualize the thought processes of both figures within the framework of religious moderation in Indonesia. Employing a qualitative methodology, this research focuses on reviewing prior literature that has demonstrated high validity and credibility. The analysis reveals that Abū al-Ḥasan al-Asy’arī's paradigm is considerably more moderate compared to Ibn Taymiyyah's, which is categorized as extreme. In the context of religious moderation in Indonesia, it is found that the Nahdlatul Ulama group represents the ideas of Abū al-Ḥasan al-Asy’arī, while the Wahhabi group represents Ibn Taymiyyah's thought. Therefore, it is evident that the understanding and ideas of the Nahdlatul Ulama group are more relevant for implementation in Indonesia, as they are considered moderate and align with the concept of religious moderation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Leadership and Organizational Culture on Employee Job Satisfaction at PT. Pegadaian Cabang Manado Selatan. The analytical method used in this research is multiple linear regression, with independent variables Leadership (X1) and Organizational Culture (X2), and the dependent variable Employee Job Satisfaction (Y). The analysis results show that the obtained multiple linear regression equation is ( Y = 0.484 + 0.056X1 + 0.748X2 + e ), where a constant of 0.484 indicates that when Leadership and Organizational Culture variables remain unchanged, the average Employee Job Satisfaction is 0.484. Based on significance tests, it is found that the Leadership variable (X1) has a significance value of 0.238, which is greater than 0.05, indicating that this variable does not have a significant partial effect on Employee Job Satisfaction. On the other hand, the Organizational Culture variable (X2) has a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating that this variable has a significant effect on Employee Job Satisfaction. The F-test shows that the F- value of 56.955 is greater than the F-table value of 3.340, with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. This indicates that, simultaneously, Leadership and Organizational Culture have a significant effect on Employee Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat Pemula ini dilakukan untuk melatih para UMKM Jakarta Barat binaan APIK dan Walkota Jakarta Barat agar mampu melakukan kegiatan ekspor serta mampu menguasai korespondensi bisnis dalam bahasa inggris sehingga mempermudah dalam transaksi ekspor. Dari analisis situasi yang dilakukan nampak bahwa permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya kurangnya memahami bisnis model kanvas, produk yang belum siap memenuhi kriteria ekspor serta kemampuan bahasa inggris dan korespondensi dalam bahasa inggris karena anggapan dasar bahwa Bahasa Inggris adalah pelajaran yang sulit. Kegiatan ini dilakukan mulai dari pretest yang dilakukan ada beberapa materi dasar bisnis yang sulit dipahami khususnya reading, kurang mengerti topic, main idea, dan menjawab WH Question serta kurang fokusnya pengusaha dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran. Pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan komunikasi persuasif motivasional, diadakan tes awal, pengajaran topic, main idea, dan WH Question dengan pengayaan materi. Setelah proses treatment tersebut diadakan tes evaluasi (post test) yang menampakkan hasil bahwa pengusaha mulai termotivasi belajar Bahasa Inggris, fokus dan mandiri dengan hasil tes rata-rata nilai bagus. Kontribusi dan manfaat yang diperoleh khalayak sasaran adalah motivasi belajar Reading, fokus dan mandiri dalam belajar bahasa inggris untuk mendukung korespondensi untuk eksport.

Abstract

This study explores the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in interpersonal communication, focusing on the opportunities and challenges in the digital era. Through a comprehensive literature review, we examine how AI technologies such as virtual assistants, chatbots, and predictive algorithms are reshaping the landscape of personal interactions. The research highlights AI's potential in enhancing communication efficiency, personalization, and accessibility, while also addressing critical challenges including the loss of emotional depth, user frustration, and authenticity issues. Furthermore, the study delves into ethical considerations surrounding AI-mediated communication, particularly privacy concerns, technological dependence, and the creation of filter bubbles. Our findings suggest that while AI offers unprecedented opportunities for streamlined and personalized communication, it also poses significant challenges to the emotional and ethical dimensions of interpersonal relationships. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on human-AI interaction and provides insights for developing more balanced and ethical approaches to integrating AI in everyday communication.
