Abstract

The curriculum is pretty basic guidelines in teaching and learning in education. Knowingly or not that the success or failure of an education, success or failure in achieving educational goals more or less dependent on the curriculum. Curriculum 2013 to develop learning experiences that provide opportunities for students to master the competencies required for the life of the present and the future. If the curriculum is designed well, systematic, comprehensive, and integral to all development and learning needs of learners to prepare themselves to face life in the future, then the expected goals would be realized. In reality the provision of education tend to cognitive, intellectual intelligence priority, and lack of education of character and personality. Abstract

Gunung Padang site, Cianjur District, a prehistoric cultural heritage becomes a concern because community activities also juxtaposed religious worships. The problems arise when various perception of the site’s existence is linked to myths. The focus is explored on how religious people related to the perception of Gunung Padang’s existence and restoration. This study uses qualitative research method using two data sources. The primary data are obtained from document studies, field observations, and in depth interviews. Secondary data are obtained from books, journals and other research documents. To analyze the relationship between community religious perceptions and culture of ancient sites, phenomenological approach is applied. The results indicate that religious perception over the site is strongly influenced by the process of integrating local religious and cultural understanding passed down for generations. The form of religious expressions are in form of belief, rite, and community. From the research findings, it arises a configuration of society’s religious perception towards Gunung Padang which integrates religion, culture, and belief (syncretism) characterized by local wisdom. Keywords: Religion; Culture; Society; Site; Myth

Abstract

This research was motivated by the controversy over Hambali’s that iddah for women is one menstrual period. Meanwhile, according to the major sects, the iddah is three times of quru', and based on Indonesian marriage regulations, the iddah is 90 days. Hambali’s view of thought is based on certain traditions. So this study aims to determine the validity of these traditions. This research is a takhrijul hadith’s study using descriptive method in form of content analysis. An important finding was found that it turns out that the traditions used as the legal basis for one-time menstrual iddah are da'if. The finding is something new because some scholars think that the traditions are valid. This finding is important for the public, so that it is not easy to accept the sect’s opinions that are widely spreaded on the internet. For the marriage officiants, this finding is also important in order to have more confidence towards existing regulations.Keywords: khulu’;  iddah; divorce; takhrij

Abstract

The supervisor’s role is quite essential to support developing teacher competencies, and also to improve their professionalism. In this article, the author formulates the problem: what is the role of supervisors in continuing professionalism development for teachers?. The purpose of this article is to describe strategies executed by supervisor on carrying out the academic task related to improving teacher’s pedagogical and professional competence. The results appertained to their role of improving teacher’s competence both pedagogically and professionally can be accomplished through academic supervision competencies. Abstract

In this study, response of religious moderation approach is the main study based on the uploading analysis of Catholic Social Media Accounts Garis Lucu (KGL) and NU Garis Lucu (NUGL) with total 15,050 followers. The method used in this study is qualitative with grounded theory approach, i.e. generalizing theory, action, or interaction. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the administrators of both social media accounts tend to use the dimensions of humor language strategies by a variety of humor strategies: irony, allusion, exaggeration, sarcasm, definition, and facetiounness. The humor strategy application on KGL and NUGL account became a positive culture in the social media world as well as a soothing publication that must be exemplified by other social media accounts considering that social media users are mostly millennials.Keywords: terrorism; religious moderation; humor strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the initial competency description of the functional training participants of the young teacher class XIII 2018. The research method used is descriptive method with a research instrument in the form of a closed questionnaire given to all training participants totaling 30 people, taking place on 9 October 2018. The distribution of questionnaires was conducted at the beginning of learning because it aims to find out the initial competency of the training participants before learning begins. The questions asked in this closed questionnaire are questions that must be answered by the training participants with answers "YES" or "NO". This closed questionnaire was distributed to the class group of training participants using Google form. From 30 training participants who sent back the questionnaire to 25 people, this number was the basis for subsequent data processing. The data obtained are processed simply in the form of a percentage for each aspect of the question. The results showed that the initial competency of the 2018 Young Teachers Functional Training participants for the ten aspects for the ten aspects had the lowest average "YES" for the aspect of navigation in PowerPoint (27.00%), which was more detailed for question number 40 namely about skills in using menus and navigation (76%), following the next two that have not been mastered namely the skills to use hyperlinks (72%) and presentations with slide masters (72%). Whereas for the aspect that has the highest average percentage of "YES" is knowing PowerPoint (85.32%), the next downturn is working with text in PowerPoint {more in detail to question number 13 about writing text in the text box (84%)}, and techniques for preparing presentations {in more detail to question number 12 about reducing existing slides (80%)}. The data obtained can be used as material to organize strategies in learning. Key Words: Pre Competences, Training, Multimedia

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of instructional media in the teaching and learning process in educational classes in the Functional Training of Junior High School Madrasah Ibtidaiyah class IV in the Ministry of Religion of West Java Province. district / city in West Java Province. The results showed that using appropriate and effective media would improve understanding in receiving the material provided during the training. So the use of power points in the implementation of learning is better understood and well received. The use of materials / slides in learning in the training facilitates the transfer of knowledge and the use of handouts to maximize the learning process so that participants will be more focused on one given material and the use of focus and laptop must be mastered by widyaiswara because it makes it easier to do the learning process so that bridging activities that are felt more time consuming then in broad outline this learning media is more effective and efficient in learning in education.  Key words: Effectiveness, learning, instructional media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of simulation-based training model in terms of improving managerial competence among madrasah heads. The research was intended to the training participants on Substantive Technical Training to Strengthening Madrasah Heads since October 2019 - February 2020 with the cooperation of Bandung Religious Training Center, stakeholders and professional organization. Data collection techniques were conducted by tests (pre and post-test), questionnaire, observation, and structured interview. Data analysis is executed using qualitative approach. The results have shown that the training in the perspective of the process and results carried out effectively, with the average score 85 or competent. The aspect of training process resulted 89.9 or effective, and simulation-based training model application demonstrated score 90.2 which means also effective.Keywords: Simulation Model; Madrasah Head Training; Managerial Competence

Abstract

This study looks into religious programming in digital broadcasting facilities following the analog switch-off (ASO). Local television in West Java, specifically SMTV and MQTV, which have transitioned from analog to digital, is the subject of this study. The goal of this study is to examine how religious programming has changed on both televisions after they went digital. With a case study methodology, this research is qualitative. Three methods of data collection are used: direct interviews with television executives, observation, and monitoring the broadcast's content. According to the study's findings, switching to digital actually has a number of advantages, including improved picture and sound quality, more viewers, longer broadcast hours, and more effective funding. Both SMTV and MQTV acknowledge that there has been a rise in religious programming. Religious programming fills the extra time according to the leadership's policy of broadcasting 24 hours a day. Islamic and Christian religious lectures have been added to SMTV as a regular daily, weekly, and monthly program. The different Sundanese cultural arts shows on SMTV always feature religious material. MQTV also incorporates religious programming to enhance its reputation as a heartwarming Islamic television station. Religious programming comes in a wide range of formats, including monologue lectures, chat shows, consultations, and reality shows. The varied packaging are designed to prevent religious content from coming out as repetitive and dull.Keywords: broadcast; religious; digital; Analog Switch-off
