Abstract

Rendahnya motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi hidrolisis garam disebabkan oleh sulitnya peserta didik dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar, hasil belajar, dan memperoleh gambaran tanggapan peserta didik terhadap  penerapan praktikum berbasis proyek. Instrumen penelitian  divalidasi oleh para pakar dan diuji cobakan pada peserta didik. Penelitian dilakukan di SMAN 1 Unggul Darul Imarah dengan menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen semu dan desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini nonquivalent control group design.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pretes, postes, angket motivasi dan angket tanggapan peserta didik. Hasil uji normalitas dan homogenitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Hasil ujit N-gain hasil belajar diperoleh thitungttabel (3,7 2,074) yang artinya terjadi perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Motivasi belajar peserta didik juga menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas  yaitu berdasarkan perolehan hasil uji t N-gain motivasi belajar, dimana thitungttabel (4,39 2,074). Peserta didik juga memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap penerapan praktikum berbasis proyek, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan penerapan praktikum berbasis proyek dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan motivasi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

The teaching and learning activities at grade 10th SMA Negeri 1 Krueng Barona Jaya and SMAN 1 Peukan Bada Aceh Besar, it can be seen that the learning motivation of students is still lacking to learn. The learning motivation of students has not been maXmized because students still feel the learning conditions that provide opportunities for students to make assumptions and carry out an experiment to obtain their own knowledge. This condition causes students to only refer to conventional modules which contain material only. This study aims to analyze the differences in the learning motivation of students in the experimental class and the control class on environmental pollution material in class grade 10th  SMAN Aceh Besar. The approach used in this research is quantitative, the type of research is applied research, a quasi-experimental method, with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was 105 students. The research procedure was to provide a pre-test, a web-based electronic module treatment combined with PBL in the experimental class and conventional methods in the control class, and post-test. The instrument used is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity, reliability test. Data analysis used independent t-test with prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity test. The results showed that there were differences in the learning motivation of students in the experimental class and the control class on environmental pollution concept in class X SMAN Aceh Besar. The learning motivation taught by web-based electronic modules combined with PBL is better than conventional methods.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didiksetelah diterapkannya metode pembelajaranproblem solving serta aktivitas guru dan peserta didikselama proses pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitianadalah quasi experimental,bentukpretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini semua peserta didik MAN RUKOH Banda Aceh kelas XI-MIA semester ganjil dengan sampel penelitian kelas XI MIA1 dan kelas XI MIA3. Prosedur penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 tahapan, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan tahap akhir penelitian. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data meliputi lembar observasi dan soal. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan metode pembelajaran problem solving terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. N-gain menunjukkan kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi, mencapai (100%) dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol(55%). Penerapan metode pembelajaran problem solving berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas guru dan peserta didik di MAN Rukoh Banda Aceh yang terlihat lebih aktif dalam mengikuti proses belajar mengajar.Kata Kunci: Problem solving, usaha, energi, hasil belajar

Abstract

Critical thingking skills are high level thingking habits that will give rise to intelligent characters so that they can face various problems. Learning that is often directed at memorization and remembering results in students’ critical thingking skills being difficult to develop. This research aims to improve students’ critical thingking skills after the implementation the project based learning model integrated practicum. The type of research used is quasi experimental using a non-equivalent control group design. Data collection techniques obtained from test questions and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used are the statistical of the t test and the N-gain test. The results showed that the implementation of the project based learning integrated practicum model was effective in the high level class group in the experimental class with an N-gain score (%) of 70,35. This is supported by the results of the paired sample t test with a significant value 0. The effect of the implementation of the project based learning integrated practicum model on students critical thingking skills based on the independent t test, namely in the experimental class got a result of 74,5 and in the control class got a result of 61,84. It can be concluded that the implementation of the project based learning integrated practicum model affects students’ critical thingking skills. Finding that became main target in this research was learning model which integrated with pratical work activity that able to improve critical thingking skill

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan modul metode proyek pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non-elektrolit, menilai kualitas modul berdasarkan masukan para ahli, meminta tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap modul metode proyek, dan  mengetahui KPS berdasarkan gaya belajar siswa serta peranan modul metode proyek. Penelitian dilakukan di tiga sekolah kota Banda Aceh (SMAN 11, SMAN 10 Fajar Harapan, dan SMAN 5 Banda Aceh) dengan menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian reasearch and development (R and D). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Pre –test and Post-test Group. Modul telah dikembangkan melalui model ADDIE. Penilaian ahli untuk kualitas modul menunjukkan skor sebesar 4,21  (baik), hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa 90,67% guru dan 80,68% siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap modul. Uji hipotesis dilakukan pada data pretest dan posttest berdasarkan gaya belajar siswa dari tiga sekolah dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 %. Data pretest menggunakan uji Mann-Whiteney (Uji U) hasilnya ada yang berbeda dan tidak berbeda secara signifikan.  Data posttest menggunakan uji t hasilnya sebagian besar tidak berbeda secara sigifikan kecuali gaya belajar kinestetik siswa SMAN 10 Fajar Harapan dan SMAN 5 Banda Aceh yang berbeda secara signifikan. Peranan modul dilihat berdasarkan perolehan nilai rata-rata postest KPS siswa ditiga sekolah yaitu sebesar 72,19 dengan kriteria “baik” dan siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik yang mendapat nilai rata-rata KPS tertinggi dengan menggunakan modul kimia.

Abstract

The sophistication of technology and access to information in the twenty-first century pushed education providers to transform preparing students to face a more challenging future. Effective and relevant teaching and learning strategies are needed in biology learning to meet the needs of future generations. Therefore, this study aims to observe the biology learning process in one of senior high school. A qualitative research approach with an observation method was used in this study. This research was conducted in class X SMA N 1 Tanjung, Brebes, Central Java. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation check list, questionnaires, and interviews. Observation of the biology learning process carried out focused on the lesson plan document, learning process, and interviews as well as student and teacher questionnaires on the biology learning process. The data collection process was carried out 3 times. The results obtained from this study indicate that teachers already know the demands of the curriculum and the needs of the 21st century. This can be seen from the of lesson plans made by the teacher. However, other findings from this study are, the skills of teachers in implementing the lesson plan with discovery learning methods are still not optimal. Learning activities undertaken have not yet led to the provision of student skills needed in 21st century. This research is expected to be used as a reference for improving the process of learning biology

Abstract

PPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengetahui pengaruh kesiapan laboratorium terhadap pemanfaatan laboratorium pada pelaksanaan praktikum kimia, 2) mendeskripsikan kendala yang dihadapi dalam memanfaatkan laboratorium pada pelaksanaan praktikum kimia di SMA se kota Langsa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen observasi, angket dan wawancara. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan rumus regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan korelasi kesiapan laboratorium terhadap pemanfaatan laboratorium pada pelaksanaan praktikum kimia adalah 0,44 atau 44%. Pengaruh kesiapan laboratorium terhadap pemanfaatan laboratorium pada pelaksanaan praktikum kimia dapat diketahui melalui persamaan regresi: Y = 0,4176 (X) + 52,839. Kendala utama yang dihadapi guru dalam memanfaatkan laboratorium pada pelaksanaan praktikum kimia di SMA se kota Langsa adalah ketersediaan bahan kimia dan waktu mempersiapkan alat dan bahan praktikum. Selain itu, guru bidang studi membutuhkan pelatihan mengenai pengelolaan dan manajemen laboratorium yang baik sehingga meningkatkan motivasi pemanfaatannya.

Abstract

Learning science by rote can lead to misunderstandings or misconceptions. Misunderstanding of concept understanding must be avoided by students, so that the knowledge process in obtaining conceptual information is meaningful for students. This study aims to determine the role of the PODE Hands on Activity model in understanding science concepts for fourth grade elementary school students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design type of research in the form of nonequivalent control group design. The sample of this study amounted to 60 fourth grade students of SD 1 Gulang and SD 1 Payaman. Data collection techniques are multiple choice and hands on activity observation sheets. The analysis in this research is simple regression test, multiple regression test and percentage description. The results showed that the R2 coefficient of the simple regression test in the Hands on Activity experimental class (X1) and the PODE Model (X2) were 55.7% and 64.6%, respectively, and 47.8% in the control class. Multiple linear test results. The results of the joint research have a value of Sig. the value of 0.000 0.005 and the value of Fcount 25.339 Ftable 3.33, it can be concluded that there is an effect of Hands on Activity (X1) and the PODE model (X2) simultaneously there is an effect of understanding the concept (Y1). Analysis of the percentage of class concept understanding there is an increase between the experimental class and the control class. 33 it can be concluded that there is an effect of hands on activity (X1) and the PODE model (X2) simultaneously there is an effect of understanding the concept (Y1). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah media pembelajaran fisika pada pokok bahasan fluida statis yang dapat digunakan pada perangkat mobile berbasis android untuk menunjang pembelajaran siswa di dalam kelas. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam penelitian Research and Development (R D) yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan mengkaji permasalahan produk tersebut. Pembuatan aplikasi tersebut menggunakan perangkat lunakAndroid Studio versi 1.5. yang dijalankan pada sistem operasi Windows 8.1. Selanjutnya pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap evaluator dan dilanjutkan dengan mengisi angket heuristik untuk menemukan severityratings sesuai dengan 10 prinsip heuristik Nielsen. Evaluator sejumlah 30 orang berasal dari kalangan guru 80%, dosen 17% dan praktisi IT 3%, yang mengerti dan terbiasa menggunakan perangkat mobile berbasis android. Hasil dari evaluator menunjukkan bahwa hanya terdapat permasalahan minor pada kategori helpanddocumentation sehingga hanya perlu sedikit perbaikan dan penambahan.

Abstract

Indonesia has a high risk of disaster hazards. According to BNPB (National Disaster Management Agency), in the past 10 years the incidence of disasters in Indonesia's territory has increased. Tornadoes, floods, landslides and earthquakes have become the disasters with a high incidence rate. Health workers are an important part of disaster management, both during emergency response and during other disaster management phases. Lack of capacity of health workers can occur, the potential resource available to meet the shortage of health personnel at the time of a disaster is students in the health sector. This study aims to examine the influence of internal variables (respondens’ gender, study period, disaster experiences, disaster knowledge, students’ organization experiences, volunteering experiences, training/skills, religiosity) and external variables (family support, university support, trust in organizations disaster management, and the type of disaster faced) on the students’ participation motivation in the health sector involved in disaster management. The population of this study was the health department students (general medicine, nursing, psychology and dentistry) of Syiah Kuala University, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. A sample of 260 health students was taken using the quota sampling method. The data obtained through an online questionnaire distributed from April to June 2020. The gathered data was analyzed using the multiple regression statistical method. The results showed that the students’ participation motivation in disaster management activities is between low to moderate. There are only three factors that influence this students’ participation motivation, namely study period, training / skills and university support.
