Abstract

The capital market serves as a platform for investors to allocate their capital, one of which is through stocks. This study aims to analyze the effect of Earnings Per Share (EPS) and Debt Equity Ratio (DER) on stock prices. The study utilizes secondary data, specifically the Annual Reports of Consumer Goods Industry Sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2023 period, obtained from the website www.idx.co.id. Respondent sampling was conducted using purposive sampling. The data analysis method employs a multiple linear regression analysis with a quantitative approach using a specialized application. The findings of this study reveal that: (1) Hypothesis testing results indicate that the earnings per share variable has a positive and significant effect on stock returns. (2) Hypothesis testing results also show that the debt equity ratio variable has a positive and significant effect on stock returns. This indicates that a higher debt-to-equity ratio impacts the increase in stock returns for consumer goods industry companies.

Abstract

In the era of globalisation and intense competition, workforce recruitment is one of the key factors in improving the quality of employees and improving organisational performance. In practice, workforce recruitment is one of the important aspects of human resource management in an organisation. In the context of an Islamic perspective, the recruitment and selection process must be carried out in accordance with Islamic principles and values. This research aims to explore recruitment and selection practices in the labour market in an Islamic perspective. This research is a research using the library research method. The results of this study show that in Islamic organisations, alignment of workforce needs with job descriptions and specifications is essential to ensure compliance with Islamic values. Integration orientation plays an important role in developing employees who are not only technically competent, but also have a strong understanding of Islamic values and commitment to the organisation. Abstract

In carrying out development, the city government should be more objective in assessing the potential impacts of planned projects. This is crucial as such developments can influence the city's growth and often result in inconsistencies in spatial planning, including green open spaces. In practice, only internal or external factors tend to influence these plans, leading to inefficiencies in managing green open spaces. For instance, internal factors may include transforming a previously non-economical green open space into an economic area without considering its benefits and function as a green space. These issues represent just a small fraction of the challenges in maintaining such spaces. According to the regulations issued by the city government in the form of regional regulations, oversight and legal enforcement are also stipulated for all parties involved in the implementation of green open space management policies in Parepare City. In this regard, the city government must adopt a more objective approach and avoid selectivity in addressing violations of these policies. Based on this rationale, the researcher is intrigued to conduct a study on this topic to analyze the existence and management of green open spaces in greater depth. The study is titled: "Analysis on the Implementation of Green Open Space (GOS) Management Policies in Parepare City."

Abstract

Regional economic growth is a crucial indicator in evaluating the success of a region's development. In Indonesia, regional funding sourced from Local Revenue (Pendapatan Asli Daerah/PAD), General Allocation Funds (Dana Alokasi Umum/DAU), and Revenue Sharing Funds (Dana Bagi Hasil/DBH) plays a vital role in driving economic growth at the district and city levels. This study aims to analyze the impact of PAD, DAU, and DBH on economic growth in districts and cities in Central Java Province during 2017-2021. The research employs panel data regression methods using the Common Effects Model (CEM), Fixed Effects Model (FEM), and Random Effects Model (REM), along with Chow and Hausman tests to select the optimal model. The results indicate that, simultaneously, PAD, DAU, and DBH significantly influence economic growth, with FEM being the most appropriate model. The regression coefficients show that DAU and DBH have a positive impact on economic growth, whereas PAD has a negative impact. These findings suggest that effective management of regional funding sources can enhance economic growth, while suboptimal management of PAD can have adverse effects. This study recommends that local governments strengthen the management of PAD, DAU, and DBH to improve public services and regional economic growth. Future research is encouraged to expand the geographic scope and incorporate more comprehensive variables.

The data used in this research is panel data from 2019 to 2023 in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The analysis technique employed is panel data regression analysis using an econometric model (estimator). The chosen model in this study is the Random Effect Model (REM). The results indicate that income inequality in the Special Region of Yogyakarta during the 2019-2023 period is influenced by the variables of the number of poor people and the human development index. In contrast, minimum wage and open unemployment rate do not have an effect on income inequality in the region during the same period.
