Abstract

Classroom action research has been carried out to improve and improve students' reading skills through classroom action research using the picture card method. This research was conducted in class I SD Negeri Cikeusal Kidul 01 for the 2020/2021 school year, with a total of 21 students. This study aims to determine whether learning using picture card media can improve students' reading skills. The focus of this study is to determine the level of students' reading skills, student learning outcomes, and teacher performance. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes were 68.57 and 79.25, respectively. Student learning activities also increased, namely with an average score of 71.03 in the first cycle increasing to 73.91 in the second cycle. It can be concluded that the use of picture card media can improve students' reading skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the initial description of the need for teaching materials based on local wisdom of belik honey pineapple cultivation. The research method used is descriptive with a sample of 36 students of class XI MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 1 Moga, 9 teachers of Biology MGMP Pemalang, 5 farmers of belik honey pineapple. Data collection methods by observation and interviews. Observation using an online questionnaire about teacher teaching material needs and student learning material needs. Apart from that, he also conducted interviews using interview guides to pineapple farmers in Mendelem village, Belik sub-district, Pemalang district. The results of the analysis of the needs for the development of teaching materials students want the types of teaching materials that have criteria that are easy to learn, fun, interesting, various learning resources, interactive, structured, and detailed so that they can be used independently. The results of the analysis of teaching material need that the teacher wants have criteria to increase student enthusiasm for learning, creative thinking, activities, learning outcomes, development of teaching materials, easy, in the form of modules, based on local wisdom, independent. This description can be used in the development of teaching materials according to student needs. Teachers can improve the quality and quality of learning and know the types of teaching materials based on needs, namely in the form of e-modules.

Abstract

Classroom action research (CAR) has been carried out to improve learning outcomes through a problem-based learning model. the results of observations of learning the properties of light in grade IV SD Negeri 3 Kedungwringin were not satisfactory. Of the 14 students, only 3 (21.42%) were able to get a grade? 70, while (78.58%) is still below the KKM, namely 70. This Classroom Action Research aims to improve learning outcomes for the properties of light in grade IV SDN 3 Kedungwringin. The CAR procedure is carried out in two cycles through a grooved process consisting of stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 14-grade students of SDN 3 Kedungwringin. Data analysis is a descriptive statistical analysis. Data collection techniques used direct observation, questionnaires, document review, and student test results. The results of the study in the first cycle, student learning outcomes have increased, namely 8 out of 14 students or (57.14) have been completed with an average value of 67.14. Whereas in cycle II, the completeness of student learning outcomes reached 92.85% or 13 out of 14 students with an average of 92.14. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of the problem-based learning model can improve the learning of the properties of light in grade IV SDN 3 Kedungwringin students.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Grade VI students at SD Negeri Mulyasari 03 by applying the Problem Based Learning Model in Online Learning as an effort to improve and enhance the learning process. The research method used was Classroom Action Research, which included planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle carried out two meetings. The results showed that student learning outcomes improved. In the initial study, the average value was 67.08 with KKM 70 completeness of learning 18.51% after the implementation of the learning improvement in cycle I, the average knowledge value reached 76.67 and the percentage of completeness reached 66.77% and not yet completed 33.23 %. The attitude score for the very good category reached 29.17% and the good category reached 70.83%, and the average skill score reached 69.58 while the percentage of completion reached 54.17% and 45.83% incomplete. In the second cycle, it was found that the average knowledge value reached 77.08 and the percentage of completeness reached 87.50% and 13.50% incomplete. The attitude score of the very good category reached 41.67% and the good category reached 58.33%. The average skill score reached 72.08, while the percentage of completion reached 83.33% and 16.67% unfinished. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that using the Problem Based Learning model can improve the learning outcomes of grade VI students at SD Negeri Mulyasari 03, Majenang District.

Abstract

This research was conducted with a classroom action research design to improve and improve student learning outcomes through the implementation of thematic learning media using audio visuals. This research was conducted in class V SD Negeri Majingklak 04 in the academic year 2020/2021, with 15 students. This study aims to determine whether learning using audio-visual media (youtube video) can improve student learning outcomes and learning activities. The focus in this study is the learning outcomes of theme 4 Healthy is Important which includes cognitive, affective, psychomotor aspects, as well as learning activities and student skills, as well as teacher performance. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes, with an average score of 73.3 in cycle 1 to 80 in cycle II. Student activity also increased as seen by the interaction and courage of students in presenting their work in front of the class. It can be concluded that learning theme 4 Healthy is Important through the implementation of learning media using audiovisual media can improve learning outcomes and student learning activities.

Abstract

This objective was to know: The implementation of STAD type cooperative learning to improve critical thinking skills and understand students' concepts in addictive substances and psychotropic substances. The population and sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, each of which consisted of 35 students. The results of the research are: The implementation of STAD type cooperative learning in improving critical thinking skills and understanding the concepts of students who run conducive in accordance with the planned learning steps. The response of students to the implementation of STAD type of cooperative learning on addictive substances and psychotropic substances was quite enthusiastic, where all students seemed to be active during the learning process. The activities of the teacher teaching addictive substances and psychotropic substances using cooperative learning type STAD are very good in accordance with the learning indicators. Being in the critical thinking skills and mastery of students' concepts after learning using STAD type cooperative learning on addictive substances and psychotropic substances. Being in the critical thinking skills and mastery of students' concepts after learning using the lecture learning method on addictive substances and psychotropic substances. The development of an increase in students' critical thinking skills and conceptual mastery between classes using STAD type cooperative learning and classes using lecture learning methods on addictive substances and psychotropic substances, where the increase in the experimental class was higher than the control class.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in student motivation and learning outcomes by applying the Discovery Learning model in social studies for grade IV SD Negeri Kalinongko for the 2020/2021 academic year. This research was conducted in November 2020. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects in this study were all 11 students of grade IV. Collecting data in this study using observation sheets, interviews, test results and evaluation, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research was conducted for 2 cycles and ended in cycle 2 with the results of the analysis showing that the application of the Discovery Learning model can increase student motivation and learning outcomes. The results of the analysis of student learning motivation reached 77% in the "Good" category and the results of the analysis of student tests and evaluations reached 93% so that these results have reached indicators of success.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential for the implementation of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in science learning for students at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen, Demak Regency. The research used a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques by interview, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model for further conclusions to be obtained. The results showed the potential of ESD implemented in science learning at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen. The data is seen through: (a) teachers' understanding of ESD, (b) integrating the values ??of ESD perspectives in KI and KD in Science subjects by analyzing KI and KD for Science Learning in class VII, and (c) potential implementation of ESD which allows it to be implemented in MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen. The results of the integration of data on aspects of integration in the three perspectives of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) KI and KD class VII in science learning show that the values ??of ESD (socio-cultural, environmental and economic perspectives) have the potential to be applied in science learning at MTs Nahdlatul Ulama Mranggen Demak Regency.

Abstract

Indonesian student mathematics achievement in International not good. One reason is the learning of mathematics at the elementary level. Many teachers teach mathematics in a conventional manner. The learning method is not in accordance with the psychological and cognitive students. Learning mathematics less provide excitement and creativity. The aims of this research are to find out the effect of using snake and ladder game to increase mathematics learning outcomes in cubical lesson of the fifth grade students of Ngemplak Simongan 01 elementary school Semarang. Learning by educational games is learning with real act so making abstracts concept of mathematics subject are given more contextual and can settle to the student’s memory. This game be expected can improve student’s motivation to learn mathematics subject with operations of integers and help students to learn independently. The research method used in this study is qualitative approach to answer the formulation of the problems. The population and  samples of this study were 12 students of fifth-grade in Ngemplak Simongan 01 elementary school. There were test and non test instruments used in this study. The test instruments consisted of validated and reliability 25 questions. Non test instuments consisted of  observations and interviews. The test results showed that the overall of educational game snakes and ladders on the mathematics subject grade V of elementary school is proper or good to use. The result showed that there were significant effects between the used of snake and ladder games to mathematic learning outcomes in the cubical lesson. The snake and ladder games were modification games which had purpose helping students to solve the difficulties  in memorize mathematic cubical formulas. Teachers could use the snake and ladder educative games to teach cubical lesson so that students could  make it easier to study mathematic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning model TPS and NHT assisted traditional game to student achievement on the social arithmetic material. This study is quantitative research. The population in this study student of class VII SMP N 3 Larangan Brebes of the 2017/2018 school year. Sampling using cluster random sampling technique. The data collection technique is the method of observation, documentation, and tests. Data analysis techniques with one way analysis of variance, simple linear regression, and proportion test a with a significant level of 5%. The results showed that: (1) there were differences in the ability to student achievement with TPS learning model assisted by traditional game and NHT learning model assisted by traditional game, and conventional with the results of ANOVA, (2) there is an effect of student activity learning on the student achievement who get the TPS and NHT models assisted by the traditional game with simple linear regression, and (3) student achievement with the TPS and NHT models assisted traditional game reach the minimum completeness criteria.
