Abstract

This research discusses the importance of the role of Islamic education in the modern era. According to Quraish Shihab, achieving the perfect quality of education does not only require the role of educators and students, but more than that, it must pay attention to all things, both personnel and other roles that allow potential in developing Islamic education. Quraish Shihab wants the concept of Islamic education to be based on the Quran, therefore the concept of Islamic education must be taken from Islamic sources, one of which is the Quran, Quraish Shihab calls it Quranic education. This research can be said to be a character study, which is one type of qualitative research. The nature of a character study is an in-depth, systematic, critical study of a character's history, original ideas or ideas, and the socio-historical context surrounding the character being studied. This type of research is included in qualitative research (library research) which examines a theoretical and in-depth study so that conclusions will be obtained. Based on the analysis of the results of research conducted on the concept of Islamic education in the perspective of Quraish Shihab, there are several things that are concluded as follows: First, Quraish Shihab says that in the Qur'an there are aspects that include Islamic education, namely: the purpose of Islamic education, the method of Islamic education, the nature of Islamic education, and the material of Islamic education. Second, in the context of education according to Quraish Shihab there are roles and responsibilities given to Muslim intellectuals. Third, in the elaboration of the concept of curriculum, several characteristics are needed that must be met so that the curriculum is in harmony with the values contained in the book of Allāh Swt (Al-Qur'an).

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of implementing the Interactive Character Education Model in an educational context. The main focus of the research is to understand how an interactive character education model can influence the transformation of student discipline through creativity in learning. The approach used in this research is qualitative, in collecting data the author uses research methods with Observation, Interviews and Documentation. This research was carried out at MAN Paser from May 2 2023. The results of this research are that the discipline and responsibility at MAN Paser is good, this is proven from the results of data presentation and interviews. The character of discipline and responsibility is always applied by teachers both in the classroom and outside the classroom. As for always arriving on time, neatly dressed. If there are students who violate discipline, the madrasah will provide sanctions aimed at providing a deterrent effect to students. Supporting factors: a) direct and active control from the Head of the Madrasah; b) there is an active role from teachers, c) there is an active role from parents of students, d) awareness of students, Inhibiting factors: family factors, environmental factors and friends. The application of interactive character education models in learning can produce significant improvements in student discipline. Creativity in learning is a powerful tool in stimulating student interest and involvement in the educational process. Through this interactive approach, students have the opportunity to understand positive character values, such as integrity, cooperation, responsibility, and others, in a context that is relevant to their daily lives.

Abstract

This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of National Examination data as an indicator of the success of the education system at the national level. Quantitative analysis methods are used to identify significant trends and patterns in test results, provide insight into student achievement, and evaluate the effectiveness of the education system. The data collected involved a large number of examinees from various levels of education. The analysis was carried out using statistical techniques to measure the distribution of grades, graduation rates, and comparison of achievements between subjects. In addition, this research also explores external factors that can influence exam results, such as student participation levels, resource availability, and learning environment characteristics. It is hoped that the results of this research can make a significant contribution to understanding the effectiveness of the national education system. The policy implications that may result from these findings can help policy makers in designing strategies to improve the overall quality of education, identify areas that require special attention, and design appropriate interventions to increase student success in the National Examination.

Abstract

The focus of this research was to find out the benefits of prayer for Islamic character building and education, a qualitative method was used in this study with library research data collection techniques, and from the research it was found that the implementation of prayer is very influential as a medium in building one's character, where prayer is not just a form of ritual which is carried out as an obligation as a servant to the Creator, but the prayer should be carried out with the utmost solemnity, and carry it out with full awareness and patience so that the prayer is not performed solely as a mere fulfillment of the obligation, but with the full awareness that deep, contains an educational function for fellow human beings, by carrying out the correct prayers, it will produce the meaning of worship and be able to form a character, both spiritually, emotionally, socially, and intellectually intelligent.

Abstract

Physical fitness related to a student is an important aspect that must be maintained. To maintain physical fitness, students are required to be able to maintain their fitness by exercising regularly and getting sufficient quality and quantity of food. That way, students will have a high level of physical fitness and can use their thoughts and energy to be enthusiastic about activities at school. A good level of physical fitness is needed by every student. To find out whether a student's level of physical fitness meets the standards, a test needs to be carried out, namely using the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) method. The aim of this research was to determine the level of physical fitness of class XII MIPA 1 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Landak Landak Regency students. The type of research used is survey research. The location of this research is Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Landak, Landak Regency. The population in this study was all 27 class XII MIPA 1 students. The sampling technique is to use cluster sampling. The sample in this research was 20 class XII MIPA 1 students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development of technology-based Islamic religious education methods and their implementation in the context of modern education. Traditional Islamic religious education methods have faced challenges in attracting the attention of the younger generation who live in this digital era. Therefore, this study proposes the application of technology as a tool to improve the quality and effectiveness of Islamic learning. Case studies were conducted to analyze the use of various technologies in the process of learning Islamic religion and their impact on student engagement and understanding. The research results are expected to provide guidance for educators and policy makers in facing the challenges of religious education in the modern era.

Abstract

Academic Burnout is a condition or situation experienced by an individual where he feels tired which refers to psychological factors. This burnout is caused by the learning activities carried out which make the individual feel emotionally tired. Students who experience burnout will exhibit behavior that will cause delays in learning patterns. The behavior of these aspects given or shown by students needs to be controlled. Security Management is a security system or system of understanding how to prevent obstacles, disturbances and threats appropriately and effectively against the conditions being experienced. The method used in this research is a literature review which is used as a contact review, because literature helps the writer provide understanding and meaning of the writing that is being done. Researchers look for literature sources that help researchers uncover academic burnout and security management, then analyze and conduct discussions. The results of the analysis carried out by the author on how Security Management is applied to students who experience academic burnout, namely currently students who experience academic burnout are in the moderate category. Academic burnout arises from the existence of poor relationships between lecturers and students which can give rise to procrastinator behavior. , lack of appreciation, work overload, and injustice. Academic burnout can be overcome with social support, especially from family, students must have resilience, and students must also implement stress management. The conclusion is that students who experience academic burnout are in the moderate category. Students can apply stress management, resilience and get social support.

Abstract

This research is motivated by indications that the religious literacy program of the At-Taqwa Sambas Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is slightly different from the religious literacy program of reading the Koran at other schools, because the At-Taqwa Sambas Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is held on Monday-Saturday, on before the start of learning at 07:00-07:30 WIB, this activity took place half an hour before the start of the first lesson and was also based on the findings in the initial interview that class III students were very less fluent in reading the Al-Qur'an because they did not memorize the hijaiyah letters. and short lengths of Al-Qur'an reading, this was indicated by 25 students still using iqra (small Al-Qur'an). This research has three research objectives, including the following: First, to find out the program for implementing Al-Qur'an Reading at the At-Taqwa Sambas Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Second, to find out the steps for implementing reading the Koran at the At-Taqwa Sambas Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Third, to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for the religious literacy program to foster interest in reading the Al-Qur'an at the At-Taqwa Sambas Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This research uses a qualitative approach while this type of research is phenomenological research. There are three types of data collection techniques in this research, namely: Interview, Observation and Documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and verification. Then the data validity checking techniques used are triangulation (source triangulation) and member check. The research results are: First, religious literacy programs to foster interest in reading the Al-Quran in class III students include; 1). BTQ (Read and Write Al-Qur'an). 2). Tahfidz (Memorization of the Qur'an). 3). Muhadarah (Short Lecture by students). 4). Congregational noon. 5). Duha Prayer (Each class). Second, the implementation of a religious literacy program to foster interest in reading the Al-Quran in class III students including: a). The activity begins by reading the surahs Al-Fatihah, Ad-Dhuha, AlInsyirah, and Asy Syam. Then read study prayers, pillars of faith, pillars of Islam, asmaul husna, and the last activity is reading and writing the Koran. b). Al-Qur'an reading activities at the At-Taqwa Sambas Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah using the face to face method with students. The Al-Qur'an reading activity in class III is divided into two groups, there are Al-Qur'an juz and small groups, then in this activity the teacher gives directions first to continue reading to the next page while the teacher checks the punctuation (tajwid) and makharijul letters to assess fluency in reading the Koran. Third, the supporting factors for religious literacy programs are supportive facilities, skilled teachers, and a good role of parents. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor for religious literacy programs is that reading habits have not become a priority for students, many students play while reading the Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

English speaking skills are the main skills that show language proficiency. However, most students experience barriers or difficulties in speaking. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to identify the difficulties or obstacles experienced by students in learning English, especially in improving speaking skills. The research subjects were students of the Private Islamic Senior High School (MAS) Mulia Sei Balai. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. Research data obtained through interviews and observation. The data obtained were analyzed using four stages, namely data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and verification/conclusion. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the difficulties experienced by students in speaking English are caused by five factors, namely lack of vocabulary, pronunciation/pronunciation, not having friends or partners in speaking, lack of confidence, and the atmosphere of the language learning class English tends to be monotonous and boring.

Abstract

Social media is a means of social interaction online. So this social media is an electronic media that allows people to create and disseminate content to the public. With the various conveniences provided by this social media, of course social media also has a bad impact on our lives, therefore it is very important for us to understand and sort out how social media works so that we can use it well and avoid the negative impacts of this social media. At the beginning of the emergence of social media was considered as a communication medium used for socializing. This development makes it very easy for people to get information and communicate well with relatives, friends and people without time and distance limits. The convenience provided by social media also makes technological advances increasing. The use of information technology can facilitate the process of finding information. The role of parents in supervising and reminding their children when playing social media is very important so that unwanted things do not happen.
