Abstract

This journal of Educational Psychology discusses the condition of education from the point of view of retired teachers. This study was conducted to determine the views and experiences of retired teachers on the current state of Education. The method used is a structured interview with 10 teachers who have retired. The results showed that retired teachers have a diverse view of the current state of Education. Some teachers feel that education today is better compared to the past, but most teachers feel that education today is in decline. Retired teachers also revealed some problems in education today, such as lack of quality teachers, lack of motivation of students, and lack of government attention to education. This study provides a clear picture of the views and experiences of retired teachers on the current state of education, so that it can be a reference for related parties to improve the quality of education in the future.

Abstract

This research explores the pivotal role of collaboration between parents and teachers at GTT SLBN 1 Palangka Raya in Central Kalimantan, in supporting the development of children with dis/abilities. The primary focus is on analyzing effective collaborative strategies to create an inclusive learning environment, enabling children to optimize their potential. Through a qualitative approach, the study investigates the experiences of parents and teachers, as well as factors that facilitate or hinder successful collaboration. The anticipated outcomes aim to provide additional insights to enhance the quality of inclusive education for children with dis/abilities.

Abstract

This research is a qualitative study which aims to increase students’ learning motivation by using a team game tournament (TGT) type coopperative learning model in broadcast material fiqh lessons in class IX MTsN 11 Agam. The description of the focus in this research are class IXA MTsN students 11 Agam 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 25 people. The data analysis technique used is a qualitative data analysis technique. The observation results of the use of the team game tournament type cooperative learning model in learning fiqh seem to be very active. Students are actively involved in learning and collaborate well. They feel motivated to understand the fiqh (khiyar) material well because there is an element of competition in this model. In addition to the TGT model allowing teachers to focus on each team specifically, students alse have clear responsibilities within their teams which helps in the development of social and cooperative skills.

Abstract

Multicultural education for the Indonesian people is part of Indonesia's cultural diversity. If managed well, it will be able to form a strong Indonesian national character. Indonesia is one of the largest multicultural countries in the world. Multicultural education has a contribution to the success of character-based education policies which can be the glue of the nation's culture. For this reason, multicultural education is something that is very important to implement in education in Indonesia because multicultural education can function as an alternative means of conflict resolution. Methodologically, this research is a type of library research. The results of this research are the nature of multiculturalism in Islamic education which functions to guide and direct humanity to be able to carry out orders or mandates from Allah, namely carrying out the task of living on earth as abdullah, who must obey every rule and will of Allah.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how to confirm the value of Aswaja in Islamic education as an effort to prevent radicalism at Pondok Pesantren PDF Walindo Siti Zaenab Manba’ul Falah KPBR IV Berbaur Kabupaten Pekalongan. This qualitative research used purposive sampling technique in determining the informants, namely caregivers and teachers. The data were analyzed with qualitative descriptive techniques including data collection, reduction and presentation. The studyshowed that in principle PP.PDF Walindo rejects Islamic radicalism because it is contrary to the Aswaja principle. The Aswaja principles, namely tawasuth, ta'adul, tawazun and tasamuh, are believed to be used as anti-radicalism values ​​that can be internalized in the educational process so that they can protect students from Islamic radicalism which is now increasingly spreading massively. The preventive actions taken include accepting students and teachers who have a moderate understanding and have an Aswaja ideological background. Anti-radicalism Islamic education is implemented through a modeling strategy, planting Aswaja values, civic education, and habituation of the Aswaja tradition.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to implement science and science learning in the independent curriculum using a traditional game approach with local wisdom. 6 indicators of the Pancasila student profile, namely having noble character, independence, critical reasoning, creativity, working together and global diversity. One of the innovative science lessons that can strengthen the profile of Pancasila students is with traditional games. The method in this research is to use a literature review sourced from journals, proceedings, books and articles related to the research focus. The results of research on traditional games that are linked to science and science learning can shape children's positive character. These values ​​are educational values, sportsmanship values, mutual cooperation values, democratic values, moral values ​​and courage values. Implementing traditional games can internalize positive values ​​in children's souls. So by cultivating these characters we can implement the Pancasila student profile contained in the independent curriculum. One of the tug of war games is that children are expected to be able to understand the concepts of science material related to movement and force and apart from that, children have the habit of working together in teams. Pancasila students must be willing to carry out activities together, help each other, so that work is easy and light, and by working together to encourage collaboration and care. The social-emotional aspect is found in suppressing emotions when annoyed with friends, and being patient in waiting your turn.

Abstract

The results of data analysis of the application of the CORE learning model were successfully applied to class IXA by conducting a test at the end of the lesson and giving a questionnaire to find out how to use the CORE learning model which was linked to scientific attitudes and learning outcomes on the material of congruence and similarity for class IX students at SMP PGRI 1 Paloh. Obtaining increased learning outcomes at the end of learning using the CORE learning model can be seen in the average of each learning objective item in class IXA which consists of 33 students, namely the first learning objective, namely getting a percentage of 71.25%, and the second learning objective, namely amounting to 46.42%. Obtaining a better scientific attitude at the end of learning using the CORE learning model with an average of 48.61 while the pretest scientific attitude was 41.24. So scientific attitudes when using the CORE learning model for class IXA experienced an average increase of 7.37.

Abstract

Education is one of the most important things in the process of human life, this education is an effort to develop and nurture all aspects of the human personality so that they become better. Education is a forum for forming a complete human being who is able to compete with other humans both in academic and non-academic matters. In order for the educational process to run well, educators and students must have good characteristics that are based on the teachings of the Islamic religion. The Book of Adabul 'Alim Wal Muta'allim by KH. Hasyim Asy'ari can be used as a guide for educators and students in the current education process, so that educators and students have good guidelines. This research uses library research, by collecting data based on library texts. in the form of books, journals and other scientific works that are relevant to the research discussion. The results of this research are that the Educator's Concept in the Book of Adabul 'Alim Wal Muta'allim is Purifying intentions, having qana'ah characteristics in all aspects of life, Behaving Tawadhu', being ascetic in his life, and avoiding all forms of immorality around him. Meanwhile, the concept of students in the Book of Adabul 'Alim Wal Muta'allim is that a student should purify his heart from all forms of immorality, improve his intentions in seeking knowledge, not delay in seeking knowledge, act qana'ah, act wira'i, ask Allah for guidance. SWT so that the right teacher is chosen, looking at the teacher with full admiration and ta'dzim respect.

Abstract

This research aims to describe efforts to minimize juvenile delinquency by using the role of education, the role of parents, the role of the environment or society and the role of peers. The research method used was a quantitative method. The data collection technique used was research carried out in 2 RTs in the community. Harapan Baru Community Health Center area. The selection of settlements is based on the proximity of the residential zone to Nightlife Place (THM). In this case, the THM in question is the RT area that is used as a karaoke place and a place to provide commercial sexual services. This research uses a population sampling technique, which means that the entire population is sampled as many as people, with a sample size of teenagers. Based on the research results, it shows that the majority of respondents who committed delinquency were 104 students aged 13 years and 70 students aged 14 years. The age of 13-14 years is the age of early adolescence, during this phase teenagers are still confused about what actions they should take (Mentari et al., 2018). The most delinquency occurred in RT002 with 170 teenagers because in RT 002 the average teenager was 13-16 years old. Delinquent behavior is mostly carried out by male children because boys have strong behavior and high emotions, so that most male students will commit delinquency when they have problems related to family, girlfriends and so on (Sunaryanti , 2016). The highest amount of delinquent behavior was found in RT002 with a value proportion of 75%, while in RT003 it had a value proportion of 68%. The conclusion from this research is that character education helps teenagers understand and internalize moral values such as honesty, integrity, empathy and responsibility. This provides a strong foundation for good decision making.
