Abstract

Basically tamkesi community , in the district of north central timor is one of a small community of nations or atoni meto dawan , that is still trying to defend and preserve cultural values a legacy received from their fathers .This can be evidenced by material objects and cultural relics non material such as the customary ritual ceremonies still be implemented as of his supporters . Such local wisdom tough, who can be saved reconstructed, and rehab will be part of the community in an effort to build tamkesi cultures and customs. Their tamkesi is customary order to hold tightly cultures and customs and still preserving cultural heritage, the local until now. The form of local wisdom is customary ceremonies and keep that belief systems are still in tamkesi by the community. Means of living in traditional local wisdom , so that culture and customs that can not in split with each other. If the community customs but not only run balanced with the knowledge of local culture and it will be limping local wisdom.

Abstract

The tourism industry development cannot be separated from the marketing mix. The marketing mix is an attempt to inform and to persuade customers to buy and to use certain products or services as well as a factor that can influence to consumer’s decision; one of them is decision to visit a tourist attraction. Marketing is not done aggressively and comprehensively through social media account or website. Likewise some individual target mark it’s that found by the authors are not to aware of tourism products that offered by Lawangwangi Creative Space. This study aimed to apply the marketing mix in Lawangwangi Creative Space; the decision of tourist to visit Lawangwangi Creative Space as well as the influence of marketing mix for the decision of tourist to visit to Lawangwangi Creative Space. This study uses a simple linear regression equation where the regression coefficient (b) obtained for the decision to visit is at 3,214 and it has positive mark, which means each happened an increase 1 point in the marketing mix, predicated the decision been able to increase by 3,124 units. The value of the constant (a) of 1,858 which indicates the value of decision of tourists to visit Lawangwangi Creative Space does not do the marketing mix. The results from this research shows that the marketing mix contributed for 52.3% of thetourists visiting the decisiontoLawangwangi Creative Space, while 47.7% is a large contribution from the influence of other variables that not examined.

Abstract

Japanese language ability is an essential communication tool for Receptionist to communicate with the Japanese guests at the Hotel Grande Valore. It is because when guests enter the lobby, the first section encountered was the Receptionist. The method used is quantitative descriptive method and observation to Hotel Grande Valore. The conclusion is the value of coefficient of determination (R Square) of 16% indicates that the dependent variable customer satisfaction as the dependent variable is influenced by capability as independent variables, while the remaining 84% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Pastry cook performance was influence by variety ways, such as skill. A pastry cook is required to have skill because with the skill the operation will went smoothly and the resulting product will be in accordance with existing standard. In this research, author using a qualitative method. Author also discuss about how the skill effect towards pastry cook performance in Pastry Department at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers and how facilities, infrastructure and raw materials effected improved performace in Pastry Department at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers. In this final project, author using likert scale for questionnaire for pastry cook in Pastry Department at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers as a samples in acquisition of research data to find out how the skill effect towards pastry cook performance. In this final project author using SPSS ver.20.0 for processing the data to find out how the skill effect towards pastry cook performance in Padtry Department at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers . Based on the results of questionnaires and observations author during on the job training in Departemen Pastry, skill possessed still lacking. Pastry cook skills possessed more dominant in terms of accuracy, while to produce a good performance the accuracy is not enough. Pastry cook should master basic skills and other specific skills that will enhance performance of pastry cook. In addition to the skills, facilities, infrastructure and raw materials has also become one of the factors supporting performance improvement of pastry cook. With the complete and adequate of infrastructure and raw materials, the pastry cook's performance will increase. But based on observation of the author, facilities, infrastructure and raw materials in Depasrtemen Pastry Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers is inadequate and incomplete. There are some damaged facilities and infrastructure, and also the amount is inadequate. As well as raw materials, sometimes there is a shortage of raw materials due to delays from suppliers.

Abstract

This study has a goal to determine the effect of promotion and occupancy rates. The study was conducted at Hotel Pullman Jakarta Central Park, By using quantitative methods and regression test with a population of 8481 and a sample size of 99 respondents specified using simple random sampling method. Independent variables were investigated, namely promotion, while the dependent variable is the room occupancy rates. Techniques questionnaire as the maintain instrument, and test hypotheses previously done some testing requirements analysis, namely the classical assumption. The result of the study addressed that: the promotion of a positive and significant effect on room occupancy rate. Based on the hypothesis test results are inclonclusives, the higher the promotion is done, the higher the occupancy rate. If the lower promotion is done, the lower the occupancy rate. Results of Linear Regression Summary Output Model (Model Summary), Value coeffecient of determination (R square) of 0,385 or 38.5%, showing that the dependent variable constributed Room Occupancy Rate and Promotion are influenced by independent variables, while the remaining 61.5% is explained by other variables outside variables tested.

Abstract

Calculation of Total Room Attendant Against Time Room Cleaning Housekeeping Department at the Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort Lombok West Nusa Tenggara. This study aims to determine the required amount of Room Attendant at the first shift to clean rooms at a time anda certain occupancy level. The method use disdescriptive quantitative. The population in this study are employees Room Section in the Housekeeping Department Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort Lombok. The sampling technique use dissaturated sampling that is part of then on-probability sampling that all employees Room Sectionin the Housekeeping Department.Data collection techniques by using observation, interview and literature study. Data analysis method used is the method of calculation to determine the amount XYZ Room Attendantin 1 day shifts. Based on the calculation son February 21, 2015 has donethe Sheraton Senggig iBeach Resort Lombok to determine the number Room Attendant needed to clear the 154 rooms in onedaywith an averageoccupancy rate of 89% in one day and productive time to clean the room as much as 8 hours on the first shift takes 7 Room Attendant, while in theory there should be required 9 Room Attendant.

Abstract

IFAS factor sthat support the development of Kolbano Beach area is diversity of attractions, unique resources, natural environment, the beauty of the beautiful sea,openness local community, low price and security. While that block is human resources is still low and insufficient infrastructure supporting tours.

Abstract

This study reveals an interesting potential tourist attraction to be developed in the city of Kupang, the cuisine of local communities as a culinary tourist attraction. Purpose of this research are: (1) To determine the management system of local cuisine in the city of Kupang, (2) Variation a strategy Knowing the local society as a day cuisine culinary tourism attraction in the city of Kupang East Nusa Tenggara.Data were collected using the method of observation, quisioners and documentation. This study used a qualitative approach is more focused more on the decomposition and holistic inference with a series of data or facts and generalizations that exist in the field according to the focus of the research problem.In the system of process local cuisine in the city of Kupang society there are some aspects that made use of management element in the management of the restaurant is a restaurant or restaurant management refers to the five elements, namely: (a) menu, (b) food production strategies, (c) service, (d) pricing, (e)decor / ambience / enviroment. There are several strategies that were made to develope the marketing of local cuisine in the city of Kupang, including: (a) adaptation of the menu, (b) adaptation of foodstuffs, (c) adaptation taste, (d) adaptation of process / how to cook, (e) adaptation of the presentation. Based on these descriptions can be suggested: (a) for the development of local society cuisine in the city of Kupang, so that businesses always optimistic that local communities cuisine has a very bright prospects for development, (b) the variation of local communities in the city of Kupang cuisine can be done with some alternative strategies , (c) to take advantage of opportunities that are so widespread, governments are expected to participate more intensively in the community to support the development of local cuisine in the city of kupang.

Abstract

Perkampungan asli budaya fokus dalam penelitian ini dan contoh, yang juga berperan menentukan ibukota dari Indonesia. Hal ini juga untuk mengingatkan kepada orang-orang yang lahir dan tumbuh di Jakarta maka mereka juga memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mempromosikan serta melestarikan perkampungan budaya asli Betawi. Perkampungan budaya Betawi cukup banyak atraksi dan kegiatan masyarakat yang lokasinya terletak di Jakarta Selatan dan dekat dengan kota Depok. Kemajuan perkampungan budaya Setu Babakan dibandingkan dengan ibukota Jakarta, cukup lamban atau berbeda jauh. Kemajuan perkampungan budaya Setu Babakan masih jauh dari teknologi dan layanan jasa bahkan terkesan kurang ramah lingkungan. Ketika berdiri di gerbang utama/ pintu masuk pada September 2009 sampai dengan tahun 2016, kita masih melihat kemacetan lalu lintas mobil dan sepeda motor memasuki ke lokasi.Sebelumnya beberapa akses utama sudah diperbaiki sekitar tahun 2012, kenyataannya masih tidak cukup untuk jalan mobil dan sepeda motor. Dan juga area parkir tidak hanya pada satu tempat saja juga di badan jalan lokasi. Sebenarnya perkampungan budaya Setu Babakan sudah memiliki konsep yang baik tetapi belum terealisasi seluruhnya. Pedekatan peantaan ini disarankan berorientasi pada pengelolan pengunjung dan ramah budaya serta lingkungan. Potensi atraksi budaya dan alamnya cukup kuat adanya pohon-pohon asli Jakarta, pohon Duku, pohon Salak, dan lain-lain. Sedangkan disisi kanan dan kiri jalan menuju pusat kunjungan, kita dapat melihat banyak rumah tradisional yang memiliki atap yang dibuat dari kayu seni disebut "Gigi Balang". Pemandangan ini bagian dari atraksi budaya dan lainnya seperti kerajinan wayang dari Barongan, makanan asli betawi, musik dan teater terbuka khas budaya Betawi. Perkampungan budaya Betawi dapat menjadi ikon ibukota Jakarta, tidak hanya oleh tugu Monas. Gambaran tulisan ini merupakan perbandingan dari tahun ke tahun dan juga bagian penting ibukota RI Indonesia.
