Abstract

The aim of this study were to determine the differences of the  student's decision making skills before and after being taught using the STS (Science, Technology, and Society) learning model at MAN 3 Pontianak. The form of this research is pre-experimental design with the research plan of one group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this research is class X MIPA as an experimental class. The data collection tools used are the decision making skills test instrument and interview guidelines. Decision making skills were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The analysis is smaller than the significant level of 0.05 which means there are differences in decision making skills in class X MIPA MAN 3 Pontianak on scientific method sub-material before and after learning using STS ( Science, Technology, and Society) learning model. The n-gain calculation results obtained a value of 0.32, so the conclusions obtained that the STS (Science, Technology, and Society) learning model  affect student’s decision making skills in the medium category. Keyword : STS (Science, Technology, and Society) , Keterampilan Membuat Keputusan, Metode Ilmiah

Abstract

This study aims was determine the level of eligibility of and response of students to the Back to Nature Student Worksheet based on guided inquiry based on natural and acid indicator materials developed. The form of research used is the Jarold Kemp development model. The sample selection technique for this study was stratified random sampling in 30 VII grade students of MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak. Data collection tools used are the feasibility assessment sheet and student questionnaire responses. The results of data analysis showed that the LKPD back to nature based on guided inquiry on natural and acidic natural indicator material was very feasible (81.58%). Students' responses to LKPD back to nature based on inquiry guided by natural and acidic natural indicator materials are very good (85.78%). The results of the feasibility assessment and student response test showed that LKPD back to nature based on guided inquiry on natural and acidic natural indicator material is very feasible to use in the learning process.Keywords: LKPD, natural indicators, acids and bases, guided inquiry, development

Abstract

This research is aimed to produce chemistry teaching material by connecting islamic values that was feasible to be used and to find out student’s responses to the product that developed. The form of the research was Research and Development (R & D)    with the ADDIE development model. The subject of this research is chemistry teaching material by connecting islamic values that was tested on  XI MIA class at SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Pontianak. Data collection instrument that was used were feasibility questionnaires and student responses questionnaires. The result showed that chemistry teaching material by connecting islamic values  was very valid for contents feasibility (91,42%), very valid for presentation feasibility (92%), valid for language feasibility (80%), and valid for islamic values feasibility (78,94%). The result of student’s responses showed that the chemistry teaching material has very high interpretations with total score of 81,88%. Thus, chemistry teaching material by connecting islamic values can be used as support in the learning process at school

Abstract

This study aimed to develop learning media in the form of chemistry learning videos and used as a medium to facilitate the study of chemical bonding material. The method used is research and development (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, & Evaluation. The feasibility of this media is seen from the material, media and language feasibility assessment sheets which are validated by three experts in their respective fields The results of the feasibility test of material, media and language respectively obtained an average percentage of 94%, 92.7% and 96% which shows that this chemistry learning video media is very feasible to use.Keywords: Development; media; chemistry learning videos

Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine 1) the differences in student learning outcomes who taught using the webbed model with students who taught using conventional models 2) the influence of the webbed model with the theme of cigarettes was carried out in class VIII C and VIII D of SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak. The form of the research used was quasi-research with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was class VIII C as an experimental class and class VIII D as a control class. Data collection tools that was used in this study were tests. Based on the result of statistical test data using the Independent Sample T-Test, obtained a value of 0,000 indicates that the value of Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05, which means there were significant differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class students. The effect of the webbed model on student learning outcomes after being analyzed with the effect size formula was 1.42 which means it provided an increase in learning outcomes of 42.22%. Based on the hypothesis test it can be concluded that learning with a webbed model can improve student learning outcomes.Keyword : Webbed Model, Learning Outcomes, Cigarettes

Abstract

The problem that arises in this study is that the assessment carried out by the teacher takes a relatively long time because of the manual calculation of points.  Then the teacher tends to make the same questions for all students, it makes it easier for students to collaborate. This study aims to determine the feasibility of an online evaluation tool using wondershare quizcreator on molecular shape materials. The form of this research is research and development (R&D) based on the steps of the ADDIE development model. The online evaluation tool using Wondershare Quizcreator on molecular shape material has been tested for feasibility by experts, including the feasibility of the material, language, and graphics. The expert feasibility test results show that the developed online evaluation tool is categorized as very feasible. This feasibility is viewed from the results of the validation of the feasibility of the material by 95.6%, the feasibility of language by 90.63%, and the feasibility of graphics by a percentage of 94.64%.

Abstract

This research was aimed to produce student worksheet based on natural formula as natural indicator of acid base that is proper to use and to find out the student's response to the products developed. Research & Development (R&D) was used as from of research which was refer to the 4D model by Thiagarajan, but implementation of the model just limited an 3D section. The subject tested the students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Grade XI. Data collection tools were used validation sheets and students response questionnaires on the product developed. The result of the expert validation (expert judgement) obtained that the interpretation is very proper in terms of aspects of content advisability, presentation advisability, linguistic advisability, and graphic advisability with consecutive total scores of 92.5%, 93.8%, 92.6%, and 89.4% respectively. The results of the student's responses in small group trials of 81.45% with very high category and in large group trials of 81.70% in very high category.Keywords: Student Worksheet, Natural Formula, Natural Indicator of Acid Base

Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine the feasibility of the SETS-Based Learning Module (Science, Environment, Technology, And Society) which was developed based on the results of expert judgment and student responses based on the results of the readability test. The form of this research is research and development (R&D) which adopts the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subject of this research is SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, And Society) Based Learning Module which was tested on 9 students of SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana in the initial readability test and 24 students in SMA Kristen Abdi Wacana Pontianak in the main reading test. The data collection instruments used were the feasibility assessment sheet and the student questionnaire responses. The results of data processing show that the learning module developed is suitable for use in learning in terms of the feasibility of the material with a validity value of 0.99, the value of language validity and graphic 1. Based on the results of the calculation of the percentage of student questionnaire responses, the initial trial results of 88.24% and in the field trials of 87.8%. This shows that the response of students to the SETS-Based Learning Module (Science, Environment, Technology, And Society) is classified as very high category. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of feasibility of the developed booklet based on expert judgment. This research and development (R&D) method adopts the ADDIE development model. Validation forms were used as data collection tools. The criteria in the questionnaire were assessed using the Likert scale, which was designed to measure the effectiveness of the product to be developed. The results of the expert evaluation (expert judgment) show that the interpretation is very accurate, with 95.6% feasibility in content, 91.7% in graphics, and 100% in language. It can be concluded that the problem solving handbook on reduction and oxidation reaction materials is suitable for students of SMA Negeri 5 Pontianak.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the difference of student learning interest and students learning outcomes with the influence of joyful learning strategies with ROCQ (Ranking One Chemistry Quiz) game on the results of student learning outcomes. This study employed a Quasi-Experimental Design with "Nonequivalent Control Group Design". The sample was class X MIA 5 as control class and class X MIA 3 as experimental class. Based on the result of data analysis in this research, it can be concluded that there were many differences in students learning interest and student learning outcomes which was significant between experimental class with control class after using joyful learning strategies with ROCQ game. This can be finded which the result of U-Mann Whitney test  questionnaire interest in learning (α ≤ 0,05) was obtained sig (2-tailed) of 0,000 and posttest (α ≤ 0,05) was obtained sig (2-tailed) of 0,000. The effect of learning used joyful learning strategies with ROCQ game was 49,45% to increase in class X students learning outcomes in element periodic system material in SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. So, it means by using joyful learning strategies can give the positive influence to the students interest and learning outcomes.Keyword : Joyful Learning Strategies with ROCQ Game, Learning Interest, Learning Outcome
