Abstract

This study aims was determine the level of eligibility of Project Based Student Sheets (LKPD) on Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solution Materials which are developed based on the results of expert assessments and students' responses based on the results of field trials. This form of research and development (R&D) adopts the Borg and Gall development model. The subjects of this study were project-based LKPD which were tested on 15 students in the initial field trials and 34 students in the main field trials, all of which were grade X students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Data collection instruments used were the questionnaire of eligibility and student questionnaire responses. The results of data processing showed that the LKPD that was developed was very feasible to use in learning in terms of the percentage of content, presentation, language and graphics worthiness of 94.4%; 97.8%; 86; and 83.9%. The results of the calculation of the percentage of questionnaire responses of students in the initial field trials was 81.7% and in the main field trials was 82.6%. This shows that the students' response to the Project Based LKPD on Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solution Materials is included in the very high category.Keyword : LKPD, project based learning and Electrolyte and Non-Electrolyte Solution

Abstract

This research aimed to produce practical guiding products that are suitable for use and to know the students' responses to the products developed. Research & Development (R&D) was used as a form of research which was referred to the 4D model by Thiagarajan, but the implementation of the model just limited a 3D level. Subject tested the students of Chemistry Education FKIP Untan who had taken kinetics chemistry courses. Data collection tools used were validation sheets and student response questionnaires on the product developed. The results of the expert judgement obtained interpretation is very feasible in terms of aspects of content feasibility, presentation feasibility, linguistic feasibility, and graphic feasibility with consecutive total scores is 97%, 95%, 96%, and 96%. Students' responses to the results of small group trials were 81% with high interpretation and in large group, trials were 81% with very high interpretation.

Abstract

This study were aims to determine whether there are differences in learning outcomes of students before and after being taught using videoscribe media and  influence the using of videoscribe media on learning outcomes of students of atomic structure material class X IPA SMAN 2 Sungai Raya. This research is a pre-experimental study with One Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. The subjects in this study were class X IPA 2, amounting to 32 students. Normality test data of the initial test results and the final test using the Shapiro-Wilk test with sig values. test = 0.05 results in initial test scores not normally distributed with sig scores. 0.001 and the final test value is normally distributed, Sig is greater than 0.05 with a significance value of 0.223. Wilcoxon signed rank test results show that the Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05, 0.000 <0.05. It can be said there is an increase in student learning outcomes after being given treatment. N-Gain calculation results obtained a value of 0.38 which shows learning using videoscribe media on atomic structure material gives an increase in the medium category in students. Keywords: videoscribe, learning outcomes, atomic structure

Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine the feasibility of Development Electronic Worksheet (e-worksheet) based on Project Based Learning on geometry molecule by the results of expert judgments and student responses on the results of field trials. The form of this research is research and development (R&D) which adopts Kemp's development model. The subject of this research was Electronic Worksheet (e-worksheet) based on Project Based Learning on geometry molecule which was tested at 27 students of SMAN 10 Pontianak. The instruments of data collections were the feasibility questionnaire and student response questionnaire. The results of data processing showed that the e-worksheet that developed was suitable for use in learning in terms of the percentage of content material, presentment, linguistic, and media respectively 96.6%; 96.8%; 90.2% and 86.1%. The result percentage of the calculation student questionnaire responses to the material aspects was 83.33%, 79.31%  to linguistic aspects and graphical aspects was 89.50%. Based on the average of the three aspects of student responses, it was found that the percentage of e-worksheet based on Project Based Learning on geometry molecule subject was 84.04%, which was included in the very high category.

AbstractThe research aims to develop the character-based comic that possible to use learning material the research also aims to determinal the responses of students about the comic. The research from is Research and Develop(R&D) which adopted from model of development of Kemp. The subjects of the research are the character-based comic learning materials that are tested to students of grade VII SMPIT AL MUMTAZ and are taked 18 students in every class who have high ability, medium ability and low ability. Data collection instruments in this research are the aligibility questionnaire and student response questionnaire. The result of data processing showed that the character-based comics have a very valid of worthiness of content (92.85%), presentation feasibility(92.5%), language feasibility (83.33%), graphic feasibility (91.66%) and media feasibility (97.5%). The result of student’s responses showed that the learning material has very high interpretasions with total score of  86.73%. Thus, character-based comic can be used as to support the learning process.

Abstract

Morus alba L species, usually known as mulberry, have a distinctive color, namely blackish purple. This color is caused by the presence of anthocyanin compounds which are color pigments. Anthocyanin compounds have the potential to be used as indicators of acid base. This study aims to determine the pH, solubility and shelf life trails of acid-base indicator films from chitosan-based mulberry fruit extracts. The method used is extraction by maceration, through immersion of mulberry fruit that has been refined using 96% ethanol solvent. Determination of the pH route using an acetate buffer solution with a pH of 1-14. The solubility of acid-base indicator film can be seen by immersing the indicator film in water for 24 hours, weighing it to a constant and comparing it to film that is not immersed in water and calculated the value of FS% (film solution). The shelf life of the indicator film was observed using a microscope to find out whether there was mold growth on the surface of the film. The results of the study showed that the pH of the acid-base indicator film strain of mulberry fruit extract, namely, pH 1-3 were red, and pH 10-14 were green. Based on data analysis, the percentage of the solubility of the acid-base indicator film of mulberry extract was 40.18%, which means that the indicator film with mulberry extract was hydrophilic so that it was easily dissolved in water compared to without the mulberry extract of 22.2% which had lower solubility values. Durability for 30 days was observed in the absence of growth of microorganisms / fungi on the surface of the indicator film.

Abstract

This aims of this research is to determine whither there is a significant difference at of achievement between students before and after learning using refutation text based worksheet ant to effectiveness refutation text based worksheet on reducing misconceptions on topic hydrocarbon. The form of research used was pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. Samples were taken from class XI MIPA 4 which consisting of twenty nine students through purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using multiple choice diagnostic test with three alternative answers and three alternative reasons consisting of 15 questions. Acoarding to analusis, there is a differences in achievement between students were tested using the Wilcoxon test and an Pvalue who less the 0,000 which meant there was a significant difference. Acoarding to propotions test the effectiveness score 0,61 which was as category medium. Acoarding to analysis, there was a decrease in the percentage of students' concept errors by 47.4%. Conclude there is a significant different of achievement before and after remediation with medium effectiveness.
