Abstract

Tax compliance and understanding are very important because in order to make proper tax payments, one must have a thorough understanding of human resources. One of the areas that must be improved is calculation, with tax reports being prepared by the village treasurer. The village treasurer is responsible for managing village funds, including calculation, deduction, and tax reporting. If you are not aware of this, it will cause serious problems for government financial reports. Previous research on taxation and understanding has been conducted. Researchers want to study this at the village treasurer's office. Kota Pari Village analyzed whether the CIP burden is a village. Understand your responsibilities when reporting taxes. The study used an explanatory method with a qualitative approach. This study is based on the results of interviews with village officials. This tax compliance and understanding of the CIP burden. I am responsible for the tax report. Aspects of compliance and taxes and taxes, basic tax rules are followed, understood, calculated and deducted in accordance with taxes. CIPUSE is very good at doing its job. But there are several obstacles to the implementation of tax reporting.

Abstract

This study explores the regulatory dimensions of Islamic banking law and its contribution to the development of Sharia-based economic programs in North Sumatra, Indonesia, focusing on Pari City, Serdang Bedagai Regency. The research aims to examine how the implementation of Islamic banking regulations supports the expansion of the Sharia economy at the regional level. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, combining legal and economic approaches through field observations, document analysis, and semi-structured interviews with key stakeholders, including Islamic banking practitioners, local government officials, and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) engaged in Sharia-based business models. The results indicate that Islamic banking law provides a strong legal foundation for the development of ethical financial practices and community-based economic empowerment. However, its effectiveness is constrained by limited regulatory enforcement, low public literacy in Sharia finance, and inadequate coordination between financial institutions and regional authorities. The study finds that the integration of regulatory reform, education, and community engagement can significantly enhance the inclusivity and sustainability of the Sharia economic ecosystem. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the intersection between law, finance, and regional economic development in Muslim-majority societies. It emphasizes the importance of adaptive legal frameworks and institutional support to strengthen Islamic banking’s role in achieving equitable and sustainable growth in Indonesia’s regional economies.

Abstract

Proximity sensors are essential components in industrial automation systems, particularly for non-contact object detection. NPN and PNP sensors differ in output polarity, which often creates compatibility issues when integrating them with control devices that require a specific type of input signal. A common problem occurs when an NPN proximity sensor must interface with a controller that only accepts PNP logic inputs, requiring a safe, stable, and practical method of polarity conversion. This study aims to analyze the conversion of output polarity from an NPN proximity sensor to a PNP configuration using a switching relay as the signal conversion component. The methodology includes designing the conversion circuit, conducting simulations, and performing direct testing of the relay’s switching response when receiving an output signal from the NPN sensor. The evaluated parameters include switching stability, response time, relay contact reliability, and compatibility with PLC or microcontroller inputs. The results indicate that the switching relay effectively performs polarity conversion, achieving a detection accuracy of more than 95%. The relay is capable of delivering a stable PNP logic output, although a slight delay occurs due to its mechanical switching operation. Additionally, the conversion circuit offers electrical isolation, making it safe and suitable for various industrial control systems. The study concludes that a switching relay provides a simple, economical, and compatible solution for converting NPN proximity sensor signals into PNP logic. Despite limitations in switching speed, this method remains highly applicable for low- to medium-speed automation processes. Further development is recommended using solid-state relays (SSR) or transistor-based drivers to improve switching speed and enhance system durability.

Abstract

Wireless sensor network-based monitoring systems have become essential for various industrial and environmental applications, particularly for monitoring conditions requiring wide coverage and low power consumption. LoRa SX1278 technology offers a long-range communication solution with high energy efficiency, but challenges remain regarding data stability, channel interference, and the need to adapt to changing environmental conditions. This study presents the design of a LoRa SX1278-based adaptive control system for wireless sensor network monitoring, focusing on improving transmission reliability and adaptive response to signal dynamics. This system integrates a LoRa SX1278 module, a microcontroller as the main controller, and an adaptive control algorithm that adjusts communication parameters in real time based on channel conditions. Tests were conducted using several distance scenarios and physical obstacles to evaluate system performance in terms of delay, packet loss, and signal stability. The test results show that the implementation of adaptive control can improve communication quality by more than 20% compared to static methods, while ensuring continuity of monitoring data under changing environmental conditions. The main contribution of this study lies in the integration of the adaptive algorithm with the LoRa SX1278 module, which can be used as a reference in the development of large-scale IoT systems in the future.

Abstract

This study examines how micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the tourism sector of Kota Pari, North Sumatra, have transformed their business communication through digital media platforms. Using a qualitative case study approach carried out between January and April 2025, primary data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observation, and documentation of social media accounts. The research involved 40 MSME owners and managers engaged in tourism-related businesses (culinary, accommodation, handicrafts, and local guides). Thematic analysis reveals that MSMEs have migrated from oral and offline promotion toward digital channels particularly WhatsApp Business for reservation and customer service, Instagram for visual storytelling, and TikTok for short-form video promotion. Key challenges include limited digital literacy, uneven internet infrastructure, inconsistent content production, and difficulties measuring digital campaign effectiveness. Innovations observed include collaborations with local content creators, community-led digital training programs, usage of low-cost content tools (Canva, CapCut), and peer-sharing initiatives. The study concludes that digital media positively impacts visitor numbers, order frequency, and local brand awareness but requires targeted capacity building, improved infrastructure, and stronger multi-stakeholder support to be sustainable.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of Technology, Culture, Physical Evidence, and Promotion on consumer Purchase Decisions at Coffee Shop Medan. The business has experienced a sales decline of approximately 30% accompanied by several operational issues, including errors in digital payment systems, unattractive store ambience, and intense promotional competition among coffee shops in Medan. A quantitative method was employed, using multiple linear regression as the primary analytical tool. Findings demonstrate that Technology and Physical Evidence have positive and significant effects on Purchase Decisions, whereas Culture and Promotion show no significant influence. Simultaneously, all variables significantly influence Purchase Decisions. The results suggest that improving technological service quality and enhancing physical ambience are strategic priorities for strengthening consumer purchase behavior.
