Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the validity and effectiveness of learning monitoring sheets by parents during the COVID-19 pandemic in grade IV SD Inpres 1 Tolai. Determination of informants by purposive sampling. The methods used were observation, interviews, monitoring sheets, documentation, and tests. Based on the results of validity in the field of content 87.5% and validation in the field of language 84.38%, on very valid category. Monitoring sheets can be applied during the COVID-19 pandemic, because they can be an alternative for teachers and parents in supervising and controlling students during the learning process both online and offline. So the results of interviews with teachers and parents stated that the monitoring sheet was very effective in being used in the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes throught the use of the Numbered Head Togther (NHT) learning model in grade IV SD. Classroom Action Research (CAR) was used as design research that consist of plan, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data analysis in this study consisted of two ways, namely quantitative data analysis and qualitative data analysis. By using NHT learning model, the student achievement were increased. This is as seen in the results of the post-test cycle I and Cycle II. At the first cycle percentage of classical obserption was 66,14% and classical learning completeness was 50%. While at the second cycle percentage of clasiccal obserption was 81,28% and clasiccal learning completeness was 85,71%. So it can be concluded that the use of the NHT learning model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness and response of students to use handout learning media based on the inquiry method on heat material and its transfer at SD Negeri 22 Palu. The research design used is a pre-experimental design using a one group pre test post test model. The average student learning outcomes before using the handout media was 61.8 while the average student learning outcome after using the handout media was 80.6. The average difference in student learning outcomes is 19.5. Analysis of 8,209 and 1,703. Based on the analysis, it is stated that > so the handout learning media based on the inquiry method on heat and its transfer material is declared effective for use in class VB SD Negeri 22 Palu. The use of media handouts in learning received a positive response from students, Media handouts can arouse students' enthusiasm and curiosity about teaching materials.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on several aspects, one of which is education. In education, learning is carried out online and offline, the impact of which affects the efforts of teachers in facilitating student learning. So this study aims to describe the teacher's efforts in increasing learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic at the 15 Palu State Elementary School. Determination of informants that the researcher uses is purposive sampling, the research uses a qualitative approach, the type of research used is case studies, the methods that researchers use are interview techniques, observation sheets and documentation. Based on the results of the research and discussion that the researchers did, it was obtained from the results of interviews and observation sheets, where the teacher tried to always improve learning activities by providing motivation and reinforcement to students every time the learning schedule started, and the teacher always tried to provide interesting and easy-to-understand learning for students by the assistance of learning media that can support student success, so that learning objectives can be achieved effectively and efficiently during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between teacher creativity in teaching and learning achievement of fifth grade students at SDN Mepanga. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques using interviews and questionnaires. The data obtained from the questionnaire is then processed into quantitative data by means of each answer choice being weighted using a Likert. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique and quantitative data. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis of the 15 students who were respondents who stated that the teacher's creativity was very good, there were 6 respondents (40%) while those who stated that the teacher's creativity was good were 9 respondents (60%). This shows that the teacher's creativity is already in a good category as evidenced by the information obtained from the results of filling out the questionnaire and for the report card scores of the 24 populations taken from a sample of 15 respondents, it shows an increase in the lowest average score starting from 64.4 to an average value highest 79.7. From the description above it can be said that there is a relationship between teacher creativity in teaching and student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of learning media and to find out the obstacles to using learning media in science material as a learning resource in elementary schools. This type of research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained are the use of learning media on natural science material as a learning resource at SD BK Lekatu has utilized learning media in teaching and learning activities, especially in science material, the media is used as an intermediary in delivering material so that it is easier and the material is more quickly understood by students. The media used by the teacher in learning science material at SD BK Lekatu are: white boards, concrete objects, models or artificial media, projectors and LCDs, videos, pictures, and print media. The stages of using learning media in science material were carried out by teachers at SD BK Lekatu, starting from planning, implementing, and evaluating. Obstacles in the use of learning media in science material at SD BK Lekatu are limited media, lack of knowledge, skills, creativity, and teacher time, and teachers feel comfortable with other methods

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes and the faktors that influence and the factors student learning outcomes in the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) in grade V SD Inpres 4 Sausu. Determination of informants by purposive sampling. The methods used were observation, interviews, test, and documentation. Based on the results of the numeracy type AKM test questions, student learning outcomes that are classified as low are 75%, classified as moderate are 25%, and classified as high are 0% where the dominant learning outcomes are classified as low categories. The faktors that influence student learning outcomes in the numeracy type AKM are internal faktors and external faktors. Internal factors that influence student learning outcomes in the numeracy type AKM are interests and talents. External factors that affect student learning outcomes in the numeracy type AKM are family faktors, school faktors, and community factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the use of learning media in science material in high school elementary schools in the Balinggi District. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained show that most of the high-grade teachers have utilized learning media in natural science material. Types of learning media that are used include: blackboards, torsos, science kits, science learning videos, pictures related to science material, real objects (concrete), environment, printed books, supporting books and LKS books. Barriers commonly experienced by high grade teachers in utilizing learning media such as: limited media, limited time, internet network, not fluent in the use of technology, students are suitable. difficult to set up and difficulties in selecting the media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine student learning difficulties and the causal factors so that there are efforts made by teachers and parents. The design used in this study is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the difficulties experienced by high grade students are in the learning disability category of dyslexia, slow learner learning difficulties, pra-academic learning difficulties in the category of cognitive learning difficulties. The difficulties experienced by students in learning are caused by internal factors, namely: learning motivation, interest in learning, and talent, then external factors, namely: the community environment, family environment and massa media, so that the efforts made by the teacher are: using smart books to read, repeating material or remedial, giving advice and motivation to learn, assessing student achievement, and creating a conducive classroom atmosphere, then the efforts made by parents are: giving advice, accompanying when learning and providing facilities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of the character values ​​of national spirit, love of the country, and respect for the achievements of class V students at SD 4 Inpres Birobuli. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative using interview data collection techniques and student questionnaires. Based on the results of processed descriptive data from 24 students who were respondents, it was stated that the application of character values ​​with very good criteria was 3 respondents or 12.5%, for good criteria there were 9 respondents or 37.5%, while for good criteria there were 9 respondents or 37.5%, sufficient criteria and not having a good number of respondents. The same, namely 6 respondents each or 25%. So it can be seen from the description above that the application of the character values ​​of national spirit, love of the country, and respect for the achievements of class V students at SD 4 Inpres Birobuli is relatively good.
