Abstract

Indonesia possesses vast natural resources and has established a robust mining sector that includes both mineral and coal industries. Mining plays a vital role in economic development but also poses significant sustainability challenges, particularly in balancing environmental, social, and economic dimensions. This study aims to develop a metric integrated aspect parameter sustainability assessment model by evaluating two major mining companies in Indonesia that have consistently published sustainability reports for over ten years and were awarded gold ratings in the 2024 PROPER assessment. This study adopts a mixed-methods approach that integrates qualitative issue mapping with quantitative analysis, focusing on three mining companies in Indonesia that achieved a Gold PROPER rating in 2024, namely PT AAA and PT BBB. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. Data analysis employed a composite index approach, integrating the Responsible Mining Index (RMI) and the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI). Out of 416 mapped indicators, the strongest alignment was observed with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). In contrast, SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) were underrepresented.

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti cara penyelesaian pembiayaan murabahah saat nasabah meninggal dalam lembaga perbankan syariah di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, informasi dikumpulkan melalui analisis dokumen kebijakan, pemeriksaan arsip klaim, dan wawancara semi-terstruktur dengan petugas pembiayaan, tim kepatuhan syariah, serta mitra takaful. Analisis tematik diterapkan untuk menggambarkan proses penanganan dari saat diberitahukannya kematian nasabah, verifikasi waris, pengajuan klaim di perusahaan takaful, hingga penyelesaian kewajiban dan penutupan akad. Temuan menunjukkan ada tiga pola utama; (1) pelunasan oleh penanggung (takaful kredit) sesuai dengan sisa pokok yang tercantum pada polis; (2) pelunasan oleh ahli waris jika klaim bersifat parsial atau ditolak; dan (3) restrukturisasi terbatas tanpa mengabaikan kepatuhan pada Fatwa DSN-MUI terkait murabahah. Kendala utama yang dihadapi meliputi kelengkapan dokumen waris, penyelarasan data antara bank dan takaful, serta interpretasi klausul pengecualian risiko. Praktik terbaik yang disarankan termasuk pengintegrasian manfaat perlindungan jiwa syariah pada saat akad, pembuatan daftar periksa standar untuk klaim, dan komunikasi yang proaktif antar pihak terlibat. Hasil penelitian ini memperkaya kajian mengenai interaksi antara bank dan takaful dalam mengurangi risiko pembiayaan serta memberikan pedoman operasional bagi bank syariah untuk menyeimbangkan kepentingan nasabah atau ahli waris, kepatuhan syariah, dan kesehatan portofolio.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of corporate image and service quality on customer loyalty with customer trust as a mediating variable. Conducted at Kantor Pos Trenggalek, the study highlights the importance of internal company factors in shaping customer perceptions and sustaining loyalty in service-based businesses. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 160 respondents through judgmental sampling and analyzed using Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that both corporate image and service quality have a significant positive effect on customer trust and loyalty. Furthermore, customer trust plays a mediating role in strengthening the relationship between these variables and loyalty. This research emphasizes the strategic value of building customer trust through consistent service quality and a strong corporate image to enhance long-term loyalty. Based on the findings, it is recommended that service providers consistently maintain and improve service performance and corporate reputation to foster trust and retain loyal customers. Future studies could explore other mediating or moderating variables, such as customer satisfaction or emotional attachment, to broaden the understanding of factors influencing loyalty.

Abstract

Pengelolaan anggaran desa yang masif menghadapi tantangan krusial dalam memastikan efektivitas alokasi untuk peningkatan kinerja pembangunan multidimensi. Realitas di lapangan menunjukkan praktik pengelolaan anggaran seringkali terjebak dalam rutinitas administratif dan belum sepenuhnya berbasis kinerja, yang berpotensi menimbulkan inefisiensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis pengaruh alokasi dana desa terhadap kinerja pilar SDGs, (2) mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor strategis yang menjelaskan perbedaan kinerja antar desa, dan (3) mengembangkan model strategi prioritas alokasi anggaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain metode campuran, diawali dengan analisis regresi data panel terhadap 62 desa di Kabupaten Majene (2022-2024), dilanjutkan dengan studi kasus komparatif mendalam di dua desa. Hasil analisis kuantitatif secara mengejutkan menunjukkan bahwa alokasi dana desa berkorelasi negatif signifikan dengan kinerja pilar sosial, ekonomi, dan lingkungan, mengindikasikan adanya masalah efektivitas sistemik. Analisis kualitatif mengungkap bahwa desa berkinerja tinggi berhasil mematahkan tren ini melalui paradigma "investasi strategis" yang ditopang oleh kepemimpinan visioner, perencanaan berbasis data, dan fokus pada program unggulan. Sebaliknya, desa berkinerja stagnan terjebak dalam paradigma "administrasi rutin" dan siklus "tambal sulam infrastruktur". Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas strategi alokasi, bukan besaran dana, adalah determinan utama keberhasilan pembangunan desa.

Abstract

The Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG) at Universitas Negeri Malang faces several managerial challenges, particularly in terms of timely implementation and financial accountability. This study aims to explore the impact of implementing job cards and activity control systems on improving the effectiveness of PPG program management. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis related to the implementation of PPG activities. Informants included the director of the postgraduate school, the administrative sub-coordinator of the postgraduate school, and part-time financial staff. Data analysis was conducted thematically using source, technique, and time triangulation to enhance the validity of the findings. The results indicate that job cards provide clarity regarding roles and scheduling of activities, while activity control systems promote consistency in reporting and adherence to established timelines. Both instruments contribute to the development of a more disciplined, transparent, and accountable management system. Furthermore, active involvement of all implementing units fosters a collaborative work culture and accelerates the achievement of program targets. This study contributes for the development of participatory and accountable education management systems.

Abstract

The gig economy has become a central element in the transformation of the global labor market, particularly with the rapid growth of digital technology and online platforms. This study aims to map the dynamics and research trends on the gig economy over the last decade (2015–2025) through a bibliometric approach based on 328 selected articles from the Scopus database. The data were obtained through a systematic screening process of peer-reviewed journal articles published in English within the specified period. Bibliometric analysis was carried out using the Bibliometrics R-package, which involved descriptive statistics, co-authorship networks, co-occurrence mapping, and thematic clustering. The results indicate a sharp increase in publications after the COVID-19 pandemic, shifting research from conceptual discussions to critical issues such as labor protection, algorithmic management, and social inequality. The thematic analysis identifies four main clusters: regulation and worker protection, algorithmic management, innovation and digital economic growth, and human values in digital labor. This study highlights research gaps in employment policy, algorithm governance, and digital inclusion, especially in developing countries, and contributes to both theoretical development and policy design in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 8 and SDG 10).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sistem informasi manajemen, lingkungan kerja, dan pelatihan dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai pada PT Indosat. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi, kondisi lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, serta efektivitas pelatihan sebagai faktor yang berpotensi memengaruhi produktivitas pegawai di era persaingan industri telekomunikasi yang semakin ketat. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, melibatkan 77 pegawai sebagai responden. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dengan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi manajemen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa penggunaan sistem informasi yang terintegrasi mampu meningkatkan efektivitas kerja dan pencapaian hasil kinerja pegawai. Sebaliknya, pelatihan memberikan pengaruh negatif namun signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, yang mengindikasikan adanya ketidaksesuaian dalam materi atau metode pelatihan sehingga belum memberikan kontribusi optimal terhadap peningkatan kinerja. Sementara itu, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan, menandakan bahwa faktor ini belum menjadi determinan utama dalam memengaruhi kinerja pegawai. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bahwa manajemen perlu memperkuat penerapan sistem informasi manajemen, mengevaluasi program pelatihan agar lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan pegawai, serta tetap menjaga lingkungan kerja yang kondusif untuk mendukung produktivitas jangka panjang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh brand image, pengetahuan, dan persepsi terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah dengan religiusitas sebagai variabel moderasi pada masyarakat Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pengambilan sampel probability sampling dan sebanyak 155 responden. Data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) melalui aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand image dan persepsi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat menabung di bank syariah, sedangkan pengetahuan tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Religiusitas tidak memoderasi pengaruh brand image terhadap minat menabung, namun memperkuat pengaruh pengetahuan terhadap minat menabung dan memperlemah pengaruh persepsi terhadap minat menabung. Secara teoritis, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan teori perilaku konsumen keuangan syariah dengan menambahkan peran religiusitas sebagai variabel moderasi. Secara praktis, hasil penelitian ini menjadi masukan bagi manajemen bank syariah di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal dalam meningkatkan brand image dan edukasi prinsip syariah yang sesuai dengan nilai religiusitas masyarakat untuk mendorong minat menabung.

Abstract

The use of digital technology, particularly AI (Artificial Intelligence)-based chatbots, has great potential to improve efficiency and customer experience for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). However, the implementation of this technology in MSMEs, especially in Madura specialty snack MSMEs, still faces various challenges. This study uses a qualitative approach with case studies to analyze the use of digital marketing with the prospect of implementing AI-based chatbots in Madura specialty snack MSMEs. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using NVivo 15 software. The results of the analysis show that although chatbots are already in use, their use is still considered limited by certain parties. The main benefits felt are work efficiency and quick responses. However, there are several major obstacles that hinder optimization, such as the limited understanding of MSME players, technical issues related to accuracy and language, as well as concerns about costs and resistance to change due to fear of losing personal interaction. Nevertheless, expectations for chatbot development vary, with business owners focusing on system integration, while consumers and employees expect product recommendation features. This study concludes that to optimize the use of this technology, continuous education and the availability of affordable chatbot solutions are needed.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of work environment and career development opportunities on salesman performance with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, focusing on the Pasukan Garuda unit of PT HM Sampoerna in Pamekasan–Madura. A quantitative approach with descriptive and explanatory methods was employed, using a census sample of 66 salesmen. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire consisting of 19 indicators measured on a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0. The measurement model demonstrated validity and reliability, with factor loadings above 0.70, Cronbach’s Alpha and Composite Reliability exceeding 0.70, and AVE values greater than 0.50. The structural model showed that work environment had both direct and indirect positive effects on performance, while job satisfaction emerged as the strongest predictor and a significant mediator. Conversely, career development opportunities significantly affected job satisfaction but did not directly improve performance, and the mediating pathway was not statistically supported. The R² values indicated that predictors explained 35% of the variance in job satisfaction and 88.9% of the variance in performance. Overall, the study concludes that enhancing work environment and job satisfaction are the most effective strategies to strengthen sales force performance in competitive contexts.
