Abstract

The culinary souvenir industry in Surabaya faces competitive challenges that demand digital transformation in the era of Society 5.0. This research aims to formulate AI-based marketing innovation strategies to support the business sustainability of "Oleh Oleh Smakelijk." Using a mixed methods approach with an explanatory sequential design, this study integrates data from a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 25 reputable articles and qualitative case studies through interviews and field observations. The results of the problem identification indicate that dependency on manual processes leads to slow service responses and stock fluctuations resulting in product waste, a condition that does not align with the preferences of Generation Z consumers. The research recommends the implementation of three AI components: Generative AI for content personalization, Chatbots for customer service automation, and Predictive Analytics for inventory management. The application of these strategies is projected to reduce product waste by 15% and improve operational efficiency. The main conclusion of this study is that adopting a "Hybrid Intelligence" model, which combines human touch in products with machine intelligence in marketing, is essential for SMEs to enhance profitability and achieve economic and environmental sustainability goals.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of talent management, career development, and education on the performance of "Mantri" officers at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Tbk, Teluk Betung Branch. The research addresses a significant gap in the literature concerning field level employees within microfinance banking. Using a quantitative approach with a census of 52 Mantri officers, data were collected via structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results reveal that each independent variable talent management, career development, and education has a statistically significant and positive effect on employee performance. Talent management emerged as the most dominant predictor, followed by education and career development. The simultaneous test (F-test) confirmed the model's overall significance, with an R Square value of 0.900, indicating that 90% of the variance in employee performance is explained by the three variables. These findings suggest that integrating human resource practices can substantially enhance performance outcomes, particularly in dynamic frontline roles. This study contributes empirical evidence to support the implementation of strategic HR frameworks in regional banking and underscores the necessity for performance focused talent policies tailored to microfinance service contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of green logistics as a mediating variable in the relationship between sustainable manufacturing and reverse logistics on green supply chain performance in manufacturing companies in East Java. A quantitative approach was used through a questionnaire survey of manufacturing managers, with covariance-based Structural Equation Modeling analysis using AMOS. The measurement model was tested for validity and reliability, while the structural model was used to examine the direct and indirect influences between variables. The results show that sustainable manufacturing has a significant impact on green logistics, and green logistics has a significant positive impact on green supply chain performance. Conversely, reverse logistics has no significant impact on either green logistics or green supply chain performance, so its contribution to green supply chain performance is still limited. These findings indicate that improving green supply chain performance is more effectively achieved through the integration of sustainable manufacturing practices with green logistics rather than relying solely on reverse logistics, which is still partial and reactive. This study positions green logistics as a key mediator explaining how sustainable manufacturing and reverse logistics practices contribute to green supply chain performance in the context of developing countries.

Abstract

In the context of Industry 5.0, which emphasizes the integration of advanced technology with human-centered values, psychological empowerment has emerged as an important factor in shaping an adaptive, flexible, and meaningful work environment. Understanding its relationship to job satisfaction is essential to improving organizational effectiveness. This study uses bibliometric analysis to map global research trends on psychological empowerment and job satisfaction. A total of 73 articles indexed in the Scopus database between 1994 and 2024 were analyzed using RStudio and VOSviewer to identify thematic patterns, keyword co-occurrence, and publication dynamics. The analysis reveals a consistent increase in academic interest in these topics over the past three decades. Psychological empowerment is often associated with increased job satisfaction, especially through mechanisms such as perceived autonomy, intrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and workplace meaning. The co-emergence analysis further highlights a strong relationship with organizational commitment, leadership, and organizational culture. These findings confirm that in the Industry 5.0 era, synergy between technology and human empowerment is the main key in maintaining employee welfare. In addition, this research makes a practical contribution for managers in designing a more humanistic and adaptive human resource management strategy. This study also maps the direction of future research to deepen understanding of psychological dynamics in an increasingly digitized work environment.

Abstract

Abstract

The increasingly intense competition in the Indonesian fashion retail industry requires companies not only to focus on marketing strategies and product quality but also to manage human resources effectively. One of the critical problems faced by retail companies is the high level of employee turnover intention, which negatively affects operational stability, service quality, and overall organizational performance. This study aims to examine the effect of compensation and transactional leadership on turnover intention, with job satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative explanatory approach using a survey method. The population consisted of 60 employees of Leo Fashion Group, and a saturated sampling technique was applied, in which all members of the population were included as respondents. Data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed via Google Form using a five-point Likert scale and were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis and mediation testing with the assistance of SPSS. The results indicate that compensation has a negative but insignificant effect on turnover intention. Meanwhile, transactional leadership has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Other findings reveal that compensation and transactional leadership have a positive effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction, in turn, has a negative and significant effect on turnover intention. Furthermore, job satisfaction is proven to mediate the relationship between transactional leadership and turnover intention, but it does not mediate the effect of compensation on turnover intention.

Abstract

This research applies a quantitative causal–associative design to investigate how Public Sector Accounting Framework knowledge, Public Sector Personnel Capability, and the utilization of accounting information systems relate to the quality of financial reports in the Bandung City Government. Data were gathered primarily through questionnaire distribution, supported by interviews to enrich the analysis. The study involved 124 respondents representing financial management units within the Bandung City Government. Data processing and hypothesis testing were performed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The empirical results show that, individually, Public Sector Accounting Framework knowledge and Public Sector Personnel Capability have a significant influence on financial reporting quality, whereas the accounting information system variable does not exhibit a significant standalone effect. In contrast, the simultaneous analysis confirms that all explanatory variables jointly affect the quality of financial reports. Moreover, the findings provide practical implications for assessing the institutional readiness of the Bandung City Government in anticipating future developments in financial reporting regulations.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamic impact of TikTok advertising expenditure on skincare product demand using a time-series framework. The objective is to evaluate whether incorporating digital advertising spending as an exogenous variable improves sales forecasting accuracy on social commerce platforms. Monthly secondary data from Company X, covering shampoo and cream products sold on TikTok from October 2024 to October 2025, were analyzed. The study compares ARIMA, ARIMA with Trend, and ARIMAX models. Stationarity was tested using the Augmented Dickey–Fuller test, while model selection was based on AIC, MSE, RMSE, and MAPE. The results reveal heterogeneous demand characteristics across products. Shampoo demand shows strong persistence and relatively stable patterns, with advertising expenditure having a positive but limited incremental effect on forecasting accuracy. In contrast, cream demand is highly sensitive to advertising intensity. The ARIMAX model significantly outperforms alternative models for cream products, producing substantially lower forecast errors. These findings indicate that promotional elasticity differs across product categories. Managerially, the results suggest that promotion-driven products require tighter integration between marketing expenditure planning and operational forecasting, while habitual products may rely more on historical demand patterns. This study contributes to digital marketing and forecasting literature by empirically demonstrating the product-specific effectiveness of social media advertising within a dynamic time-series context.
