Kewajiban perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan yang harus dimanfaatkan langsung baik secara teoritis maupun empiris terbukti telah memberikan dampak positif dari berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Perkembangan ilmu di berbagai bidang banyak memberikan manfaat bagi peningkatan efektifitas dan efisiensi dalam kegiatan masyarakat sehingga memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi efektifitas pelaksanaan tugas-tugas administasi baik di lembaga pemerintah maupun swasta. Namun, hingga saat ini banyak dari aktifitas kegiatan pengabdian terkait dengan berbagai disiplin ilmu yang banyak dilakukan oleh akademisi, praktisi maupun peneliti belum terpublikasi secara luas sehingga banyak informasi berguna di dalamnya tidak dapat diakses secara langsung oleh masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, Jurnal Pengabdian Bangsa [JPB] ini hadir menjadi mitra peneliti untuk menampung inspirasi dalam mempublikasikan hasil penelitiannya.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen business management and production governance among livestock farmer groups based on local potential. The program was initiated due to limited managerial capacity, inefficient production planning, and suboptimal utilization of local resources in small-scale livestock enterprises. The implementation employed a participatory mentoring approach involving training, field assistance, and practical demonstrations related to production management, business planning, and simple financial management. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate improvements in farmers’ understanding of production planning, cost efficiency, and business organization. In addition, farmer groups demonstrated increased awareness of the importance of structured management and sustainable production practices. This program contributes to strengthening livestock business resilience and supports local-based agricultural development.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in economic development but often face limitations in digital literacy, English language proficiency, and basic business management, which reduce their competitiveness in the digital era. This community service program aimed to optimize digital media as an integrated platform to strengthen practical English skills and business management competencies among MSME actors. The program employed a participatory and practice-oriented approach consisting of training, hands-on practice, and continuous mentoring. Training activities focused on functional English for business communication, digital media utilization for marketing, and basic management practices such as branding and simple bookkeeping. The results indicate improvements in participants’ ability to use English for product promotion, increased use of digital media for marketing activities, and greater awareness of structured business management. Participants also showed higher engagement and confidence in applying digital tools to their daily business operations. These findings suggest that integrated digital media–based capacity building is effective in supporting MSME empowerment and sustainable economic development.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance students’ learning motivation and physical activity through learning assistance based on Game-Based Learning in Physical Education, Sports, and Health classes. The activity was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Bireuen and involved students and physical education teachers as community service partners. The implementation method consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation, which included designing game-based activities, assisting the learning process, and conducting reflective discussions with teachers. The results of the activity indicated that the application of Game-Based Learning was able to create a more active and enjoyable learning atmosphere, thereby increasing students’ enthusiasm, participation, and engagement in physical activities during the learning process. In addition, this mentoring activity provided teachers with new experiences and insights in implementing innovative, student-centered learning models. Therefore, game-based learning is recommended as an alternative approach in physical education that can be sustainably applied to improve the quality of learning in schools.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to implement a guidance service model for kindergarten children through active play based on physical education and supported by digital technology at TK IT Peusijuk Hate. This program was initiated due to the limited integration of guidance services, physical activity, and technology in early childhood education. The implementation employed training and mentoring approaches for teachers, combined with active play activities designed according to children’s developmental needs. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of active play-based guidance services supported by digital media improves children’s social-emotional development, participation, and self-regulation. In addition, teachers at TK IT Peusijuk Hate showed increased competence in integrating guidance principles into physical education activities. In conclusion, the program effectively strengthens guidance services for kindergarten children through the integration of physical activity and digital technology.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve numeracy and accounting literacy through contextual financial-based learning assistance. The background of this program is the low level of numeracy skills and basic accounting understanding among students and community members, which affects their ability to manage financial information in daily life. The activity was implemented using a mentoring approach that integrates mathematical concepts with basic accounting practices through real-life financial contexts. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that contextual learning assistance effectively enhances participants’ understanding of numeracy concepts, financial calculations, and simple accounting records. In addition, participants demonstrated increased motivation and confidence in applying numeracy and accounting skills in practical financial situations. Therefore, contextual financial-based learning assistance is recommended as an effective approach to strengthen numeracy and accounting literacy in educational and community settings.

Abstract

National food security is a strategic issue that requires support from various sectors, including the livestock sector. However, most smallholder livestock enterprises still face challenges in business management, production efficiency, and sustainable management practices. This community service program aims to provide assistance in sustainable livestock business management as an effort to strengthen national food security. The implementation methods include identifying partners’ problems, conducting training on livestock business management, providing assistance in production management and business record-keeping, and evaluating program sustainability. The target beneficiaries are livestock farmer groups who are expected to improve their knowledge, skills, and independence in managing livestock businesses effectively and sustainably. The results of the program indicate an improvement in partners’ understanding of livestock business management, production planning, and awareness of the importance of business sustainability. This program is expected to make a tangible contribution to strengthening national food security through enhancing the capacity of community-based livestock enterprises.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to produce and implement science comics to enhance science learning for elementary school students at SDN 27 Peusangan. Science learning at the elementary level often faces challenges related to low student engagement and limited use of attractive learning media. To address these issues, science comics were developed as an innovative learning medium that integrates scientific concepts with visual storytelling tailored to students’ characteristics. The implementation stages included needs analysis, comic design and production, teacher assistance, classroom application, and evaluation. The results showed that the use of science comics increased students’ learning motivation, active participation, and understanding of basic science concepts. In addition, teachers demonstrated improved competence in utilizing creative learning media to support classroom instruction. Overall, science comics proved to be an effective and engaging learning medium for elementary science education and have the potential to be sustainably implemented in primary schools.

Abstract

Developing digital literacy is crucial in facing the era of globalization and the rapid digital transformation. Digital literacy encompasses not only the ability to access information through technology, but also the skills to understand, manage, and utilize it wisely in accordance with prevailing norms , ethics, and culture. This community service program aims to improve digital literacy as a means of community empowerment at the Guna Rayadi Ilmu Course and Training Institute, particularly in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and tourism sectors. The methods used include a descriptive approach through literature studies, field observations, and interviews with MSMEs and village communities involved in e-commerce activities. The results of the activity indicate that limited understanding of digital technology remains a major obstacle in accessing digital economic opportunities in villages. Through digital literacy training and mentoring, communities are beginning to understand the use of technology for promoting local products, conducting online transactions, and managing e-commerce-based businesses. This program has had a positive impact on increasing local economic capacity, expanding marketing networks, and reducing digital-based social disparities. Thus, digital literacy has proven to be a strategic instrument in empowering rural communities towards inclusive and sustainable economic development.

Abstract

The objectives of this basic computer training are: To introduce participants to the importance of mastering information technology and Computers today and to teach them how to use Microsoft Word applications, which can be used for learning to type and other purposes. The method used in this activity is Community Education (PKM) in the form of lectures and training on the basics of computers and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Word. The result of this PkM activity is to provide implications for increasing participants' knowledge about computers and their applications to young children in the village of Pasir Gala, Lawe Bulan District, Southeast Aceh Regency.
