Conference on Community Engagement Project -Community service is one of pillars in Three Pillars of Higher Education. Community service is the implementation of practice of science, technology, and arts to the society institutionally through research methodology as the implementation of Three Pillars of Higher Education and responsibility to improve the ability of society. Therefore, it can accelerate the growth rate of the national development goals. To support the practice of community service, UIB Research and Community Service Center organize a Conference on Community Engagement Project (ConCEPt) that is attended by lecturers and students from both domestic and overseas universities. This conference is expected to significantly spread impact the results of community service that are directly implemented to society and spread information about science, technology, and arts to society.

Abstract

This study aims to implement promotional and marketing strategies using social media for UMKM Omer Prata & Teh Tarek through social media, namely Instagram by creating attractive promotional content and creating accounts on the online ordering application, namely Go-Food. The implementation aims to provide solutions to increase sales and revenue, reach more new customers and make it easier for customers to place orders online. Data collection in this study used 3 techniques namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained are that Omer Prata & Teh Tarek are better known by new potential customers and get an increase in orders and revenue. This can be a recommendation for further research in order to increase the creation of interesting content on social media for promotion and marketing strategies in terms of increasing sales and revenue.

Abstract

This community service activity (PKM) is carried out with the aim of helping one of the UMKM in Batam in designing an inventory management system that suits the needs of UMKM so that it can be applied in operational activities. The partner of this activity is the Happy Stationery Store. Previously, Happy Stationery Stores still used a handwritten manual system in recording their supplies. This made inventory recording inaccurate and inventory management, which was very large, was difficult for store managers to perform. This activity is designed to help these UMKM problems. PKM activities are carried out by interviewing, observing, and system simulation methods. Inventory management system designed based on website. The output generated from this system is in the form of main menu, inventory management list, product input list, product location tracking feature, user identification list, supplier list, customer list, and sales features. The implementation stage consists of three stages, namely the stage of introducing system features, providing system manuals, and the feedback process from the UMKM. The system has been well implemented and can provide improvements in the supply management system for UMKM.

Abstract

Yasasian adalah suatu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang supplier distributor yang menjual marking sistem seperti alat industri inkjet coding. PT. Yasasian masih belum memiliki sistem pencatatan akuntansi yang akurat dan efisien. Tujuan PkM ini adalah merancangkan sistem akuntansi yang dapat menghasilkan laporan keuangan yang efisien dan akurat, sehingga dapat mempermudah pemilik perusahaan mengetahui kondisi keuangan dan menyusun laporan keuangan perusahaan serta mencatat transaksi sehari-hari. Oleh sebab itu, hal yang pertama kali penulis lakukan yakni menemukan masalah yang dihadapi oleh pemilik perusahaan serta memberi solusi yang tepat pada pemilik. Penulis mengunjungi tempat PkM mengumpulkan informasi dan merencanakan sistem akuntansi yang akan dirancang untuk memberikan solusi atas masalah yang dihadapi oleh pemilik perusahaan. Perancangan sistem ini dimulai dari penginputan formulir pembelian, formulir penjualan, dan formulir transaksi. Laporan yang dihasilkan yakni laporan laba rugi, laporan arus kas, laporan sisa persediaan, buku besar, laporan penjualan, laporan pembelian, neraca saldo, dan jurnal umum. Sistem pencatatan akuntansi yang dirancang diharapkan dapat membantu pemilik usaha menyelesaikan kendala dalam penyusunan laporan keuangan dan memperbaiki sistem pencatatan akuntansi pada PT. Yasasian. Hasil dari perancangan sistem akuntansi menunjukkan PT. Yasasian dapat mencatat transaksi sehari-hari dengan lancar, menyusun laporan keuangan dengan tepat, dan pemilik usaha dapat memantau keuangan perusahaan. Direkomendasikan terhadap pelaksanaan PkM selanjutnya adalah merancang sistem pencatatan akuntansi dengan menggunakan program lain serta dapat menghasilkan laporan keuangan yang lengkap.

Abstract

Demands between the rights and obligations of employees and company owners are common in a company, one of the reasons for this is that a valid and binding employment contract has not yet been formed in the company while the method for resolving this can be completed using the consultation method to obtain aspirations between the two parties and advocacy methods to initiate and complete a work contract that is valid and binding between the two parties, the result of the implementation is that after a negotiation process between the company owner and company employees regarding the rights and obligations of each party an agreement has been reached which is then made as a work contract that binds both parties, the suggestion for the next PkM is that after carrying out the manufacturing process it is better to carry out a monitoring process on the results of the PkM that have been completed.

Abstract

Pada umumnya tujuan dari kerja praktek adalah mempraktekkan langsung teori ataupun materi yang telah diperoleh mahasiswa selama perkuliahan dengan fakultas yang dipilih untuk diterapkan ke pekerjaan yang berkaitan salah satunya seperti perusahaan. Perjanjian kerja antara perusahaan dan pekerja serta tata tertib dalam menata karakter pekerja sangat berpengaruh dengan identitas suatu perusahaan. Saat ini permintaan pekerjaan oleh pekerja lebih banyak disbanding penawaran kerja atau lapangan kerja yang ada, hal ini menimbulkan ketidakstabilan. Metodologi empiris yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam meneliti keadaan sebenarnya ditempat kerja praktek serta mengumpulkan data yang dibutuhkan dengan cara observasi terjun langsung ke perusahaan dan mewawancarai beberapa pihak yang terkait. Setelah data yang diperlukan terkumpul, maka akan melanjuti tahap menganalisis kemudian mengimplementasikan proyek yang telah dirancang oleh penulis. Penulis merancang suatu proyek agar terpenuhinya kesejahteraan, adanya pengaturan hak dan kewajiban, adanya jaminan hukum antara perusahaan dan pekerja. Dengan menghadirkan surat pengangkatan karyawan tetap terhadap perjanjian secara lisan dan peraturan perusahaan untuk diterapkan di perusahaan yang telah sesuai dengan ketentuan yang telah berlaku. Kedua proyek juga dapat menghindarkan perusahaan dari ancaman pidana. Setelah diterapkan perusahaan dan pekerja bekerja semaksimal sesuai dengan peraturan perusahaan dan menjadi lebih mengetahui undang-undang ketenagakerjaan

Abstract

Smaller size business tends to record their business transaction improperly. The absence of a correct financial statement may affect the decision-making of business owners and the company's future. Asak Salon is a service business without a systemized accounting recording system. This research aims to design an accounting recording and financial reporting system for Asak Salon with Microsoft Access. Primary data collection was by observation and interview. The output of the research is an accounting recording system to input transactions and produce financial statements for the business. The system can assist the business owner in recording transactions and generating financial statements to show business performance in the period. The business owner may use the financial statement as a basis in decision-making for business development in the future.

Abstract

The efforts to achieve the company's vision and mission don't always go according to plan, that's because there are problems or risks that arise suddenly. The company's inability to reduce or manage the uncertainty or risk will have a significant effect to the efforts in achieving the company's goals and the emergence of inherent risk and risidual risk, especially in pandemic conditions. CV. Comformindo has never designed and implemented a risk management system into the company's operational activities due to a lack of insight and awareness of the importance of risk management. From this case, the CV. Comformindo needs to be assisted in getting to know about risk management and assisted in designing a risk management system that is suitable for the operational activities of CV. Comformindo at this time. The information was collected using interview and observation methods, while the risk management system design was made with the help of Microsoft Office software. After the risk management system design is implemented by CV. Comformindo, it can be concluded that there has not been any significant benefit in the short term, but CV. Comformindo already has awareness and insight regarding the importance of risk management, this is also a first step and also an important point to become a sustainable business. The suggestion for the next practical work related to risk management is to invite partners to practice a real risk management system rather than just providing a theory related to risk management.

Abstract

Toko Asli Motor is a small and medium enterprises that operates as an automotive sparepart distributors. Toko Asli Motor still using an inaccurate and inefficient accounting record. The accounting record of Toko Asli Motor was stored manually in microsoft excel and only record the number of sales based on issued invoices. Accounting record system from Toko Asli Motor couldn’t produce an accurate financial statement. Toko Asli Motor yet to record inventory mutations, therefore problem usually occurs when confirming the amount of inventory left in the store. The purpose of this community services is to design an accounting recording system which can produce accurate financial statements and also other supporting reports.The beginning proccess is to accumulate bunch of datas regarding Toko Asli Motor by using observations and interviews. The accumulated data later will be used to analyze problems and needs from Toko Asli Motor in accounting records. The next step is the designing step of accounting record system in accordance with the needs of Toko Asli Motor. The finished system will be given to Toko Asli Motor and later on will conduct training of how to use the system. Designed system aims to fix previous accounting record of Toko Asli Motor. For the next community services, a more complex and in accordance with applicable financial accounting standards is to be expected.

Abstract

Regulations of specified period and unspecified period work agreement was formed as a guarantee of the working relationship existence in a company between the employer and the employee. In the world of legal practice, this work agreement is usually realized in the form of a permanent employee letter of appointment for the unspecified period work agreement and a fixed-time work contract fix the specified period work agreement. This work agreement is crucial to exist because if an industrial dispute occurs, the two parties can refer back to the agreed and signed agreement. However, even though the regulation exists, it is still common to find companies that do not implement work agreements following the Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Manpower. PT Sukses Media Kreatif is a start-up company that utilises the social media as a platform for social media marketing. This company offers social media marketing services which include marketing strategies and an interactive media in the form of videos and photos as the promotional content. This company consists of management and employees, whom are young fresh graduates. Thus, the problem of ethical work discipline becomes a problem since no regulation has been established yet. This research was conducted to resolve the legal issues that exists in the company, which is the absence of work agreements in the existing work relationship. The research method uses applied research that offers applied solutions to legal problems in PT Sukses Media Kreatif after an observation, problem finding, literature, and regulation study related to agreements in general and work agreements.

Abstract

Digital marketing has become the most preferred marketing strategy and has been widely practiced by business actors since the Covid-19 pandemic. This is the result of the adaptation of business actors to changes in consumer behavior since the pandemic. Even so, Pentol Mercon 88 as a business engaged in the culinary field, has yet to adapt to this fully and is more fixated on conventional promotional techniques. This project aims to help businesses implement digital marketing to expand market reach and compete with similar businesses. Qualitative research was conducted using the observation method at business locations and interviews with the owner of Pentol Mercon 88. The result of implementing this digital marketing strategy is increasing brand awareness and reaching a broader market which is marked by increasing the number of followers and engagement on business social media accounts, as well as increasing business income.
