Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase the understanding of learning concepts and students' interest in Mathematics subject matter of Quadratic Equations. The research method uses qualitative methods with the subject of class IX students. The instrument in this study used the observation and questionnaires and tests. Observations were made to teachers and students to determine student needs, student problem skills, and understanding student learning concepts. This research has several results. First, students' learning needs are still low, students' problem-solving skills are still lacking, students' understanding of students' learning concepts in mathematics learning is still very lacking. The researcher concludes that the needs of students in the I mind map teaching materials are needed to improve students' understanding abilities

Abstract

The New Order is known as the era of renewal in the field of politics in Indonesia. Political parties are simplified for the sake of government stability. Of the many political parties in the Old Order, in the New Order they were simplified into three political parties that were allowed to exist, namely the Golkar Party, the United Development Party (PPP), and the Indonesian Democratic Party (PDI). This study discusses the effectiveness of the fusion of political parties in the New Order. The approach used is a qualitative method and the nature of this research is library research, analysis using interpretation and describing data with the intention of taking comparable values ​​in it and then drawing conclusions. The results obtained show that the simplification of political parties in the New Order was very effective in stabilizing economic problems, education to political problems. When viewed in terms of the process of simplifying political parties, it is an attempt by the new order regime which is juridically flawed. Efforts to perpetuate power by justifying all means to support the simplification of political parties are a juridical flaw.

Abstract

The discussion of the religiosity of love leads to the appreciation of love which is based on religious values ​​in an exoteric depth dimension. The thought of the religiosity of love questions an appreciation of love so that love relationships are colored with sincerity. In the book of poetry "Ijinkan Aku Cintamu" by Abdul Wachid BS, it is clear that love is positioned as a union between human relationships with other humans, human relationships with themselves, human relationships with the environment, and human relationships with God. This love is based on the five theories of Erich Fromm's love which were studied with the hermeneutic study of Paul Ricoeur's interpretation. This study aims to describe (1) the metaphor and symbol of the interpretation of the religiosity of love (2) the interpretation of the religiosity of love. The population in this study amounted to 57 poems, while the sample used was only 5 poems and there were 21 poems that became contextual poems. The data analysis technique used in this study led to descriptive explanations as a characteristic of qualitative research and used five stages in accordance with three methodological steps. Paul Ricoeur's interpretation of hermeneutics. The results of this study indicate that the metaphors, symbols, and interpretations of the religiosity of love in the poems contained in the poetry book Ijinkan Aku Cintamu by Abdul Wachid BS are very thick in each of his poems. The love contained in Abdul Wachid BS's poems in the poetry book Ijinkan Aku Cintamu is based on Erich Fromm's five theories of love, namely brotherly love (the poem “Catatan Pagi 1 Mei”), motherly love (the poem "Surat"), erotic love (the poem “Honey-Moon”), self-love (the poem “Burung”), and love of God (the poem”Nyanyian Cinta”

Abstract

There are many obstacles faced by students in speaking English. The factors of confidence and courage become a self-image of students in implementing English speaking skills in the classroom and the surrounding environment. Meanwhile, in assessing English speaking skills, students need to have knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, fluency, accent, and understanding. In this case, students not only need to have a positive self-image, but they also need to continue to improve their knowledge that supports their English speaking skills. The purpose of the study was to determine whether there was a relationship between self-concept and English speaking skills of UHAMKA students. The research method used is a survey method with correlational techniques. The data of this study were limited to 43 students in semester 2A and 2B. The self-concept variable data used a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale and the speaking skill variable data used a speaking test. Data analysis technique used is correlation analysis technique. The results of data analysis are known r-count = 0.432. From the t-distribution table with n = 43 and at 0.05 probability. Then r-table = 0.294. Because r-count > r-table, then Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this study shows that there is a significant relationship between self-concept and English speaking ability of UHAMKA English Education students in semester 2A and 2B, Transactional Listening/Speaking 2017/2018 course. This research will be used as material for evaluation and input for lectures at the Study Program level. UHAMKA English.

Abstract

−Computer technology is no longer something foreign to society, especially for those who are directly involved in the computer world. With computer technology, data processing is much faster and easier and produces more accurate data compared to manual systems. The medical record application is an application that can manage patient data, in the application it contains the patient's identity, examination results, payments and other services that have been provided to patients. Practicum at the Computer Laboratory of the DIII Medical Record and Health Information Study Program at Awal Bros University is carried out every semester from semester I to semester V. To support student practicum activities, we need a medical record application that can be used by students in the Computer Laboratory. In the Computer Laboratory of the DIII Medical Record and Health Information Study Program, there are already several applications installed on each computer. However, it is still not enough to support activities during practicum. For this reason, it is necessary to add applications to each computer, so that students can better understand the use of medical record applications during the practicum. The purpose of this study was to design a medical record application in the Computer Laboratory of the Medical Record and Health Information Study Program at Awal Bros University. The method used in this research is the prototype method and the system is designed using the figma application.

Abstract

The study of Undiksha Midwifery Diploma III students aims to find out: (1) the effect of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models on improving communication, (2) the influence of high independence attitudes and low attitudes towards improving communication, and (3) the influence of model interactions learning Problem Based Learning (PBL) with an attitude of independence to communication skills. This research is quasi experiment. The population in this study were 79th semester students of Undiksha Midwifery Study Program. Data in the study were collected through recording documents, questionnaires, and observations. Data analysis in the study was carried out by quantitative descriptive method using two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) techniques. The results of the Undiksha Midwifery Diploma III study showed that: (1) there was an influence between Problem Based Learning (PBL) and conventional models of communication improvement. student, this is indicated by the results of calculations where Fcount (8,540)> Ftable (3.11), (2) there is an influence of high independence attitude and low independence attitude towards student communication which is indicated by the calculation results where F count (85,544)> Ftable (3.11), and (3) there is a significant interaction effect between PBL learning models and student independence towards communication skills as indicated by the calculation results where F count (6.477)> Ftable (3.11).

Abstract

The coronavirus crisis can not only be characterized as a disturbing period of instability, uncertainty, and danger but can also be considered a period of accelerating the diffusion of digital technologies. Colleges around the world have shifted from classroom-based to online-based learning to comply with social distancing recommendations in preventing the wide spread of this pandemic. Online learning can be applied flexibly and provides opportunities to develop wider learning. This study aims to analyze the perceptions and behavior of students in online learning at the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program Students of Universitas Nurul Hasanah Kutacane. This research is a descriptive-analytic correlational study with a cross-sectional study approach. The population is all level II and III students of the undergraduate nursing study program at Universitas Nurul Hasanah Kutacane, totaling 53 respondents. The results of the study generally show that there is a relationship between perception and student behavior in online learning with a p-value of 0.000. Based on the results of this study, it is hoped that the Universitas Nurul Hasanah Kutacane College can support students in online learning through online learning system training, procurement of adequate digital facilities, and benchmarking to other universities.

Abstract

Democracy is a system of government that allows and provides rights, freedoms for its citizens and opinions and participates in decision-making in government. Democracy is carried out so that the needs of the general public can be met. Policy-making in a democracy depends on the wishes and aspirations of the people in general. By determining policies in accordance with the wishes of the people, in a democratic country will create people's satisfaction. A country itself is said to have implemented a democratic system.

Abstract

Mathematics learning is often filled with students' difficulties in solving problems using mathematical concepts, especially in story problems, it indicates that students' mathematical understanding abilities are low. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of a constructivist approach to improve students' understanding of mathematics. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The data collection technique uses observation techniques to determine whether the stages in the constructivist approach have been carried out correctly by the teacher, and test techniques are used to determine the increase in students' mathematical understanding abilities. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. Qualitative analysis was used to analyze data about students' learning comprehension abilities. While quantitative analysis is used to describe the increase in student learning outcomes/understanding in relation to mastery of the material being taught. The results showed that the application of the constructivist approach could improve students' mathematical understanding skills with the percentage of post-test completeness in the first cycle of 50% and then increased to 66.7% in the second cycle. Abstract

Many campuses currently include entrepreneurship courses to prepare their students when they graduate when they want to become entrepreneurs. In this entrepreneurship course, students are sometimes asked to run business processes. The obstacle that students often get in carrying out this business process is finding creative ideas. This is important because through this creative idea students can find business ideas that they will run. The solution to this problem is to incorporate positive psychological approaches when doing creative thinking. This paper aims to determine the relationship between positive psychology and creative thinking in students who are entrepreneurship. This paper uses the literature review method by collecting related articles and books. The result of this paper is that a positive psychological approach can help students think creatively in finding business ideas that they will run.
