GOTAVA : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat merupakan jurnal nasional yang berisi hasil kegiatan pengabdian dan pemberdayaan masyarakat berupa penerapan berbagai bidang ilmu. Tujuan publikasi dalam jurnal ini adalah untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran atau gagasan konseptual serta hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai dalam bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. GOTAVA : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang diterbitkan oleh Yayasan SDMC merupakan jurnal peer-review yang memuat artikel ilmiah dari berbagai disiplin ilmu yang diadopsi dalam berbagai kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dan penelitian terapan lainnya. Artikel-artikel yang dimuat dalam GOTAVA : Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat mencakup berbagai kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh dosen, peneliti dan mahasiswa. JPKM GOTAVA menerima manuskrip atau artikel di bidang penelitian terapan dan hilir hasil penelitian ilmiah kuantitatif dan kualitatif berbasis masyarakat ke dalam format pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi bidang keilmuan yang relevan antara lain sosial, pendidikan, ilmu pengetahuan, kesehatan, bahasa, teknik, pertanian, peternakan, ekonomi dan manajemen.

Abstract

Foster Village is a community development program that aims to improve the quality of life in rural areas. This program focuses on various aspects of community development, such as education, the economy, and community empowerment. This program was implemented by STAIN Teungku Dirundeng Meulaboh in Gampong Pasi Mesjid, Meureubo District, West Aceh Regency from October 28 to November 28, 2022. Activities in this study used the Participatory Action Research (PAR) mentoring method, from the research results it was concluded that the Assisted Village program by The campus aims to develop the village so that it becomes an independent village and improves the welfare of the village community. This program also provides learning opportunities and contributions for program participants and involves campuses, lecturers, and students in village development efforts.

Abstract

This training activity aims to introduce the participants to various types of forage that can be used as feed for ruminant livestock, especially cattle. Another objective is to motivate the participants to innovate in feed provision, ultimately encouraging them to start agricultural enterprises, particularly in forage production, to support the development of cattle farming in the Amarasi Barat sub-district of Kupang Regency. The training begins with providing information about different types of forage, planting methods, harvesting age, and post-harvest handling. The methods used to achieve these objectives include counseling, demonstrations, direct practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The training participants are members of the Mekar livestock group in Dusun VI (Puru), Merbaun Village – Kecamatan Amarasi Barat. The results from the mentoring and evaluation activities will be used as a reference for creating future programs related to post-harvest forage technology. After community members have acquired the knowledge and abilities of cattle raising, the community's revenues will provide better outcomes, increase income, and improve welfare in the long run.

Abstract

Mastery of entrepreneurship knowledge and skills is one of the objectives of holding a Business Center as a teaching factory from Kedungtuban NU Vocational High School. However, on the other hand, there are still a number of obstacles such as the lack of production and packaging facilities (equipment), as well as manual inventory management in stores which results in a lack of business center performance. The purpose of this community service is to improve the entrepreneurial skills of students at the NU Kedungtuban Vocational School, especially the Online Business and Marketing Department. The method in this activity is training with the concept of project-based learning. The results of this PkM activity are the renewal of production and packaging equipment and the existence of an inventory application for the Business Center. The training activities resulted in an increase in skills in production and packaging as well as the use of an inventory application of at least 80%. It can be concluded that the PkM activity target was achieved and the training methods and intensive mentoring used proved to be effective in improving skills.

Abstract

Posyandu cadres have a role in delivering basic health services to pregnant women, infants, toddlers, children and families. Cadres are an integral part of posyandu management in the community. Good knowledge and skills are needed to support the duties of a cadre. This service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of posyandu cadres in Tanah Putih Village. There were 12 participants in this activity. Increasing the knowledge and skills of cadres is carried out through counseling and simulations. Based on the results of evaluating the level of knowledge regarding stunting, the first 1000 days of life (HPK), monitoring of child growth and development as well as the skills of cadres regarding filling out the health card (KMS) experienced a significant increase.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has a major impact on Indonesian society, including the Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector. According to data, as many as 48.6% of MSMEs had to be closed due to a significant decrease in demand. Likewise, MSMEs in Kebondowo Village, Banyubiru District, Semarang Regency have had to stop production and lay off workers due to this pandemic. This community service activity aims to empower MSMEs to revive their business during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used to obtain the objective is training in producing face shields by utilizing ergonomic materials, as well as skills and tools that are already owned by MSMEs. The result of this community service activity is that MSMEs can revive their business by producing and promoting the face shield of their own production.
