Abstract

Mathematical problem-solving skills are essential for students, yet research indicates these skills remain low in the Jabodetabek area. This study aims to analyze the factors causing this issue and explore innovative learning approaches such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Realistic Mathematics Education (PMR). The research method employed literature analysis, referencing various related studies. The findings reveal that low problem-solving skills stem from traditional teaching methods, low student motivation, limited use of technology, and inadequate learning facilities. PBL and PMR were proven effective in improving problem-solving abilities by actively engaging students and connecting mathematics to real-life contexts. In conclusion, implementing innovative approaches supported by teachers, technology, and educational policies can significantly enhance students' mathematical problem-solving skills.

Abstract

The relevance and challenges of pragmatisme in shaping adaptive leraning have become increasingly important ini modern educational settings. This study aims to explore the applicationof pragmatisme in education, particularly how it contributes to the development of adaptive leraning system. The recsearch was conducted throurh a qualitative approach, using literature review and analysis of existing educational practices in Indonesia. The findings suggest thet pragmatisme, with its emphasis on experiential learning and practical application of knowledge, play a crucial role in adapting education to the needs of the 21st century. It allows students to engage in real-world problem solving, fastering critical skills such as creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking. However, the study alsi identifie several challenges in implementing pragmatism, approaches, such as gaps between tehory and pratice, limited resources, and the rigidity of assessment systems. Despite these challengesn the research concludes that pragmatism provides significant potential for adaptive learning, with suggestions for improvements in teacher training, curriculum flexibility, and assessment reforms. Furter research is recommended to examine the impact of pragmatism on student outcomes acrodd various educational context and cultural settings.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the important subjects to be applied in daily life. This mathematical concept can be combined with culture, one of which is ethnomathematics. This ethnomathematics always relates the concept of mathematics to the culture applied in daily life. One of them is the calculation of good days, this calculation applies mathematical concepts including: addition, subtraction, division, number patterns, modulos and others. This article aims to take a deeper look at the application of ethnomathematical concepts by looking at the results of previous journal reviews. The method used in this study is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The Systematic Literature Review method is used to identify, evaluate, and interpret all research in various fields with interesting topics with specific research questions. Data collection was carried out by reviewing articles on ethnomathematics of good day calculations published in the 2020-2024 period. The result of this study is the existence of ethnomathematics of good day calculation where the concept of mathematics is contained in every work and activity of society.

Abstract

The Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture reported a significant increase in demand for fruits and vegetables in 2024. The share of expenditure on fruits increased by 18.35%, while for vegetables increased by 7.98% in the fourth quarter of 2024. This high demand drives the need for efficiency in the post-harvest process, especially at the sorting stage. Manual processes that rely on labor are time-consuming and risk producing errors in product quality grouping. As a solution, this study developed a smart conveyor system integrated with IoT technology and deep learning to classify tomatoes by grade. This system includes layers of physical devices, connectivity, computing, data processing, and collaboration to optimize performance. The conveyor is driven by a DC motor with a detection accuracy level of 94%. Rotten tomatoes are classified as grade C and directed straight, while red tomatoes (grade A) and green tomatoes (grade B) are directed to certain containers using servos. This innovation leads to manual processes, reduces dependence on labor, and increases efficiency. With this technology, farmers can meet market needs more effectively and ensure accurate and consistent tomato grouping, supporting the transformation of the horticulture sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan deteksi objek pada tongkat pintar bagi penyandang tunanetra dengan menerapkan teknologi terbaru YOLOv5. Melalui pendekatan ini, akan terjadi peningkatan dalam kemampuan bergerak mandiri dan aman bagi penyandang tunanetra dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Desain sistem melibatkan tiga tahap utama: sistem masukan, proses, dan luaran. Pengujian sistem menunjukkan bahwa algoritma YOLOv5 mampu mencapai akurasi deteksi hingga 82% dengan tingkat kesalahan yang relatif kecil. Dengan demikian, tongkat pintar ini dapat menjadi alat yang efektif untuk membantu penyandang tunanetra dalam mendeteksi objek di sekitar mereka. Implementasi teknologi ini dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih inklusif dan ramah bagi penyandang tunanetra, serta memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup mereka secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa calon guru pada mata kuliah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PPG calon guru matematika kelas 1C sebanyak 25 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model PjBL terbukti dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mahasiswa calon guru pada mata kuliah pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Hal ini ditandai dengan peningkatan nilai rara- rata pada tiap siklus, di mana rata-rata kemampuan mahasiswa pada siklus I adalah 82,8 dan siklus II adalah 92,72. Selanjutnya, Tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa pada pembelajaran berdiferensiasi terjadi peningkatan di mana pada siklus I, sebanyak 60% memiliki pemahaman yang lengkap dan sangat baik terkait pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan saat siklus II sebanyak 100%. Kemudian, untuk keterampilan mahasiswa pada pembelajaran berdiferensiasi juga terdapat peningkatan di setiap kriteria pada tiap siklus.
