Abstract

One of the several vegetables that can be cultivated with an organic system is the pakcoy mustard plant. Pakcoy mustard is a type of vegetable that many Indonesians like because it tastes good and contains lots of vitamin A and vitamins C. In addition, the pakcoy plant has a high nutritional content, not inferior to other vegetable crops. Vermicompost fertilizer is organic material produced by worm droppings mixed with soil and other organic matter. Vermicompost is a fairly good organic material because it can improve the physical, chemical and biological properties of soil, especially in infertile soils such as ultisol type soils, it also does not have a negative effect on the environment in wet sub-tropical areas where the weathering process is advanced. The purpose of this study was to determine the best dose of vermicompost fertilizer on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica rapa L.). This study used a randomized block design (RBD) method with six treatments, namely treatment without a dose of vermicompost fertilizer (P0), a dose of vermicompost fertilizer 2 tons/ha (10 g/10 kg soil/polybag) P1, a dose of vermicompost fertilizer 4 tonnes (20 g/10 kg of soil/polybag P2, the dose of vermicompost fertilizer is 6 tonnes/ha (30 g/10 kg of soil/polybag) P3, the dose of vermicompost fertilizer is 8 tons (40 g/10 kg of soil/polybag P4, and the dose 10 tons of castor fertilizer (50 g/10 kg of soil/polybag) P5. Each treatment was repeated four times so that the total number of treatments was 24. Based on data analysis, the treatment with vermicompost doses had a very significant effect on plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands ), leaf area (cm2), total fresh weight planted (g), and total oven dry weight of plants (g).Giving a dose of vermicompost fertilizer 4 tons/ha (P2) on mustard greens gave the best growth and yield on total fresh weight plant (184.25 g) and total plant oven dry weight (22.55 g).

Abstract

This study entitled "Response of growth of stem cuttings of red roses (Rosa damascena P.Mill.) to concentrations and immersion time of young coconut water in Batu Bulan Village, Banjar Sasih, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency". The implementation started from January 10 2021 to April 23 2021. The research aims to determine the concentration and duration of soaking young coconut water which is good for the growth of red rose plants (Rosa damascena P.Mill), flower plants are propagated generatively and vegetatively. The method used in this study was stem cuttings, namely by cutting selected parts of the plant stems. Coconut water also contains auxin and cytokinins which play a role in encouraging cells to divide and elongate rapidly so as to increase growth rate. This study used a randomized block design (RBD). .with 9 repetitions and 3 repetitions there were 48 polybags. The treatments were 0% K0L0, 25% K1L1, 50% K2L2, 75% K3L3, and 100% K4L4. The results showed that the long time immersion of young coconut water (K4L3) resulted in the number of times the first leaves appeared (K4L4) 43.75 (strands), branch length (K3L4) 45.50 (cm) number of primary leaves, (K3L4) 45.50 (strands), length of primary leaves (K4L2) 8.25 (cm) stem diameter (K3L4) 4.07.(cm) .

Abstract

Water spinach (Ipomea reptans Poir) is a vegetable plant that is widely traded and highly favored by consumers, kale contains vitamins A, B, C minerals and fiber, especially iron, and has an important meaning in fulfilling food nutrition. The use of mulch in the cultivation of horticultural crops is something that is absolutely necessary. There are so many benefits that are obtained by farmers, including easing the work of farmers in cleaning weeds. The research objectives were: (1) to determine the effect of the use of rice straw mulch on the growth and yield of land kale, (2) to determine the optimum dose of rice straw mulch on the growth and yield of land kale. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments which were repeated 4 times. The data were analyzed using ANOVA or analysis of variance and if they were significantly different, the LSD test was continued with 5%, to find out the best rice straw dose for each treatment, The use of straw mulch gave a significant effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of weeds, fresh weight of plant crown, fresh weight of plant roots, oven dry weight of plant crown and oven dry weight of plant roots, growth and yield of land Water spinach (Ipomoea reptans poir) at mulching straw with a weight of 500 g (M5) per polybag gave the highest yield with a fresh weight of 14.75 g of plant crown and 2.07 g of oven-dry weight of the plant canopy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of providing rabbit manure on the growth and yield of mustard greens., starting from March 10 to April 10, 2021, at Kebun Kalpataru Denpasar Selatan. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment of kandang kelinci D0(without rabbit manure), fertilizer consisted of D1 (25g/5 kg soil), D2 (50g/5 kg soil), D3 (75g/5 kg soil), D4 (100g/5 kg soil) D5 (125g /5 kg of soil). Each treatment was repeated 4 times so that the total number of treatments became 24. The results showed that the treatment of 50 grams of rabbit manure (D2) gave the best growth and yield compared to other treatments of rabbit manure for all observation parameters such as plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh weight of plants, total dry weight of plants, fresh weight without plant roots, dry weight without plant roots.

Abstract

Pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.} is one of the leaf vegetables that has very easy cultivation techniques to develop, the pakcoy plant is very potential and has good prospects. Sources of essential vitamins and minerals that contain lots of fiber are needed by humans. The purpose of this research is The purpose of this study was to determine the growth response and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) due to the application of goat manure and chicken manure and to determine the best dose interaction of goat manure and chicken manure on increasing the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L) as a result of giving goat manure and chicken manure and knowing the best dose interaction of goat manure and chicken manure on increasing growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L). This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 25 combination treatments and repeated 3 (three) times so that 75 experimental pots were obtained. Each polybag pot contains 5 kg of soil. The results showed that giving a dose of 50 g / 5 kg of goat manure soil and a dose of 50 g / 5 kg of chicken manure gave a very significant effect on the observed parameters, namely: plant height (g), number of leaves (strands), weight total plant fresh (g) and total plant dry weight (g).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cow biourine liquid fertilizer on the growth and yield of mustard greens. This research has been conducted on Jln. Banteng Baru behind the PDIP office No.4, Renon Village, South Denpasar District. Denpasar City. This study took place for 1 month 2 weeks from the time of seedling, starting on 19 February – 26 March 2021. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with the treatment of liquid fertilizer consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications, while the treatment was cow biourine. , so that 24 experimental units can be obtained. Concentration of cow biourine: K0= control, K1=100ml cow biourine/900ml water, K2=200ml cow biourine/800ml water, K3=300ml cow biourine/700ml water, K4=400ml cow biourine/600ml water, K5=500ml cow biourine /500ml of water. The results showed that the concentration of bovine biourine was given to mustard greens. The results showed that K4 treatment (400ml cow biourine/600ml water) on the growth parameters of mustard greens had a very significant effect on plant height, leaf area, total plant fresh weight, total oven dry weight of plants and only had a significant effect on leaf number. The concentration of cow biourine liquid fertilizer from 400ml cow biourine/600ml water resulted in the best growth of mustard greens, namely total plant fresh weight: 137.5 g and total plant oven dry weight: 18.40 g.

Abstract

Dayak onions (Eleutherine sp.) are plants that are often found in the Kalimantan region. Dayak onion tubers are plants that contain flavonoid compounds so they have the potential to be developed and used as traditional medicine by the community. The chemical compounds contained in Dayak onions include 15 compounds including flavonoid and naphthaquinone derivatives. Several studies show the extract's activity as anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, anticancer, antidiabetic, antimicrobial. This research aims to find out about the Dayak onion plant which is still very lacking, especially in its development as a raw material for the development of biopharmaceuticals. Until now, the development and use of this plant is very minimal, even though the benefits of this plant have long been felt by local rural communities

Abstract

Kale plans is one type of horticultural plant that is easy to cultivz kale plants can grow optimally if they are planted on land that has high enough macro and micro nutrients and loose soil conditions, one of the macro nutrients needed by this vegetable is nitrogen nutrients, because nitrogen is a basic nutrient forming proteins, nucleic acids, and chlorophyll that are useful in the process of photosynthesis. This study aims to determine the "Response of Growth and Yield of kale plans (Ipomea reptans poir). Due to Dosage of Manure and Concentration of Cattle Biourine. The method used is a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with factorial treatment with 2 treatment factors. Factor 1: Dosage of cow manure with 5 levels, namely K0 (without cow manure), K1 (cow manure 30 gr/10 kg of soil), K2 (cow manure 60 gr/10 kg of soil), K3 (cow manure 90 g / 10 kg of soil), and K4 (cattle manure 120 g / 10 kg of soil). Factor 2: concentration of bovine biorin with 5 levels, namely B0 (without beef biorin), B1 (bovine biorin 80 ml/1 liter of water), B2 (bovine biorin 160 ml/1 liter of water), B3 (bovine biorin 240 ml/1 liter water), and B4 (beef biorin 320 ml/1 liter of water). The results showed that treatment (K4B4) with a dose of cow manure 120 g/10 kg of soil with a concentration of biourin 320 ml/1 liter of water gave the best growth compared to other treatments for all observation parameters such as plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands). , leaf area (cm²), total fresh weight (g), total oven dry weight (g), fresh weight without roots (g), and oven dry weight without roots (g). and the lowest was in the K0B0 treatment without a dose of manure and cow biourin concentration.

Abstract

So far, hydroponic cultivation uses chemical fertilizers that have been formulated and are ready to be used by farmers, but not much use of organic fertilizers. In this study using a nutrient source from rice washing water with the aim of this research is to analyze the effect of rice washing water concentration on the growth and yield of land kangkung plants. Determining the best concentration of rice washing water in hydroponic cultivation of land spinach. This study used a randomized block design (RAK) with enem, namely treatment (A0) without washing rice (water pump), (A1) treatment with rice washed water 10 ml/1 liter of water, (A2) treatment with rice washing water 20 ml /1 liter of water, (A3) treatment of rice washing water 30 ml/1 liter of water, (A4) treatment of rice washing water 40 ml/1 liter of water, (A5) treatment of rice washing water 50 ml/1 liter of water, each treatment repeated four times so that the number of all treatments became 24. The results showed 50 ml/1liter of water gave the best growth results for all observed parameters, namely: plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf area (cm), leaf color, total fresh weight of plants (g), and total oven-dry weight of plants (g).

Abstract

This study entitled the effect of planting media on the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brasicca rapa L). The effect of organic fertilizer is treated to increase growth and yield, especially pakcoy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of pakcoy and to determine the concentration and variety of organic fertilizers as an optimal type of organic fertilizer planting medium on the growth and yield of pakcoy. This study used a randomized block design research method (DRM) using various kinds of organic fertilizers, namely cow manure, goat manure, chicken manure, and mixed manure for cows, goats and chicken manure (P0-P5). The author collects data from the parameters of plant height, leaf area. Leaf length, total fresh weight of plants, and total dry weight of plants. Data is taken from each parameter. The results of this study on all parameters gave good results, and for the planting media the best results were using manure mixed with cow manure, goat manure, and chicken manure (P4).
