Abstract

PjBL integrated with information and communication technology (ICT) enhances students’ creativity at Al Wafa Kindergarten. The research is motivated by the lack of teachers’ ability to design innovative learning models, impacting students’ creativity. The study aims to improve students’ creativity in creating two-dimensional work from geometric shapes. The research is classified as classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects are 8 students from Class A at Al Wafa Kindergarten in Nganjuk, comprising 7 males and 1 female. The car design follows the Kemmis and Taggart model, including planning, action, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques involve observation and documentation. Data analysis employs qualitative descriptions with statistical calculations. The research results show improvement in four indicators from the pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II. The indicator of skill in arranging shape increased from 54.2% in the pre-cycle, 79.2% in cycle I and 87.5% in cycle II. The indicator of using a variety of flat geometric shapes increased from 54.2% in the pre-cycle, 75.0% in cycle I and 87.5% in cycle II. The indicator of neatness in creating shape increased from 62.5% in the pre-cycle, 79.2% in cycle I and 91.7% in cycle II. The indicator of using many flat geometric shapes increased from 54.2% in the pre-cycle, 87.5% in cycle I and 95.8% in cycle II. The average of all indicators increased from the pre-cycle 56.25% to cycle I at 70.83% and 81.25% in cycle II. In conclusion, learning using the PjBL model can enhance students’ creativity in creating two-dimensional works from flat geometric shapes.

Abstract

The aims of this research are 1) to find out the reasons why contextual-based Civics learning is relevant in efforts to develop student character, 2) to find obstacles that arise in developing student character through contextual-based Civics learning, and 3) to find solutions that can taken in developing student character through contextual-based Civics learning. This research uses a qualitative paradigm. The research subjects were students and teachers of Civics class VIIIA at SMP Negeri 1 Simo, Boyolali. Data validity uses triangulation of sources and methods. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses interactive analysis. The results of the research show, first, the reasons that contextual-based Civics learning is relevant to developing student character because (1) the learning process activates all student potential, both cognitive, affective and psychomotor, (2) the learning material is relevant to everyday life, and (3) character develops because learning is relevant to students' real world. Second, the obstacles that arise in developing student character through contextual-based Civics learning are that students were previously not accustomed to relating class material to the environment and students' daily lives. Third, solutions that can be taken in developing student character through contextual-based Civics learning are to always link learning material in class with the environment and students' daily lives. Abstract

Abstract SMK Leonardo has been using the independent curriculum since 3 years ago, but there is one mechatronics department that still uses the 2016 KTSP curriculum. Teachers innovate by adjusting curriculum standards and student characteristics. Even though it has implemented an independent curriculum, SMK Leonardo still adapts its curriculum to the needs of students. Civics teachers play a role in shaping the character of students Teachers must be able to be role models and examples so that students can imitate them, in terms of discipline. Teach various values and norms, and help students understand each of these values and norms. Teachers become Motivators so that children can have good character. The teacher becomes a control. Teachers are expected to control every action taken by children, the way is by giving rewards and punishments. Cooperate with various parties to ensure the development of students towards a better direction. At SMK Lenonardo, the grading system uses a parameter system. To determine whether students have achieved the desired learning objectives. For summative assessment we do at the end of each chapter. In this assessment we set the KKM limit for PPKN lessons. If indeed students have not met the target value, they will be collected to be given additional lessons so that remidiation questions are given. Keywords: independent curriculum

Abstract

The researcher conducted this study with the aim of finding out how study concentration and peer environment influence mathematics learning outcomes. A quantitative ex post facto approach was used in this research. The subjects were students of Grade X at State Vocational High School 1 Klaten in the academic year 2022/2023. The Cluster Random Sampling technique was employed to select samples, where Class X AKL 3 was chosen as the experimental group and Class X AKL 4 as the research group. After using questionnaires and tests to collect data, they were tested for normality, linearity, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity. After meeting the prerequisites, the data were analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression analysis with a significance level of . The conclusions drawn from the study are as follows: (1) There is a positive influence between study concentration and mathematics learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of and an effective contribution of ; (2) There is a positive influence between peer environment and mathematics learning outcomes with a correlation coefficient of and an effective contribution of ; (3) There is a positive combined influence of study concentration and peer environment on mathematics learning outcomes with a coefficient of determination . Therefore, study concentration and peer environment collectively influence mathematics learning outcomes by , while other unexamined variables affect .

Abstract

Education is a complex phenomenon that cannot be separated from the context of society and culture. Education has several basics that can be used as examples to achieve an educational goal. Because without the basics of education, the goals of education will be difficult to achieve, which can cause education to have unclear goals. One of the basics of education used is sociological and anthropological. Sociological and anthropological foundations are important to understand because they can be used to understand how education works in society and how education can be used to achieve social and cultural goals. And to achieve educational goals, a process of socialization and enculturation needs to be carried out. Apart from that, the educational environment is also needed to support all these processes in formal, informal and non-formal educational environments.

Abstract

This research aims to identify forms of bullying behavior in class III students at SD N Kadipiro 2 Kasih Bantul Yogyakarta. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The subject criteria in this research were 3 students who had been perpetrators of bullying and 1 class III teacher at SD N Kadipiro 2. The analysis technique used was presenting research data and drawing conclusions from data analysis. This research explains that the forms of bullying behavior that occur at SD N Kadipiro 2 are verbal and relational bullying. Based on the research results, the forms of verbal bullying found were 1) calling friends with bad names, 2) mocking, 3) insulting, 4) slandering, 5) accusing, 6) threatening, and 7) encouraging and spreading bad news about the victim . and the forms of relational bullying found were 1) exclusion, 2) exclusion, 3) neglect and, 4) avoidance/avoidance.Keywords: Bullying, intimidation

Abstract

Learning model is very important to use for the success of learning. With an easy model, students will be interested in learning. That is why the researchers did a research in the implementation of the CIRC learning model on learning students’ reading at a vocational high school. This qualitative research data were collected by doing observation, interviews, and documentation. The result showed that the CIRC learning model was successfully applied. This can be seen from the increase in student scores. It was also found that the English teacher experienced difficulties in managing the class when students made presentations. From these obstacles, the solution taken by the teacher was giving assignments to students when their friends make presentations.

Abstract

This research aims to determine student collaboration through the Think Pair Share learning model for fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun. This type of research is qualitative. The method used is descriptive. The data collection technique used in this research is an observation sheet. The data analysis process was carried out using a descriptive approach that described the data in the form of narratives and percentages. The results of the research show that collaboration among class V students at SD Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun reached a level that meets the specified criteria, namely 85.41% proportionally. From this data, there was 1 student who received a good predicate with a percentage of 75% and 11 other students had a very good predicate. The learning carried out by the teacher applies the think pair share type cooperative learning model.

Abstract

The politeness principle speech act in Javanese is the use of Javanese that occurs in Javanese society. In using Javanese, speakers must understand speech act, however, errors often occur in the use of the lexicon. This cannot be completely blamed, because it can occur due to several factors, for example: the speaker's lack of knowledge about the concept of speech act in Javanese, the speaker's lack of mastery of Javanese vocabulary. Usually this is experienced by immigrants who have lived outside Java for a long time or by young people (especially children) who do not yet understand and master uploading. Politeness in language reflects a person's refined manners and noble character by not hurting feelings and giving choices to other people. The principle of language politeness means an attitude of concern for the face or face, both of the speaker and of the interlocutor.
