Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the LKPD used in delivering geometry transformation material for class XI SMK Negeri 4 Klaten. This study aims to analyze the completeness of Student Worksheets (LKPD) as a medium for learning mathematics. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The method used in this research is the method of interviews and document review. The instruments used were interview guidelines and document review sheets. Based on the results of the analysis, information was obtained that the percentage of completeness of the components of the LKPD for geometry transformation material for class XI SMK Negeri 4 Klaten was 50%. Components that have not been included in the LKPD include LKPD objectives, apperceptions, contextual initial problems, overall conclusions, and problem solving. So it can be concluded that the LKPD is not classified as a good LKPD.

Abstract

There are still disciplinary violations that occur at the elementary school (SD) level. As was the case in class V at SDN Serut Baru Gedangsari, there were still some students who did not practice discipline, both in terms of time, attitude, and enforcing rules. From observations, it was found that students did not come on time, did not use the proper attributes and violated existing regulations. Therefore, teachers need to have a strategy to overcome this. In order to find out the teacher's strategy in shaping the disciplinary character of fifth grade students at SDN Serut Baru Gedangsari, we conducted a qualitative research to describe the teacher's strategy in shaping the disciplinary character of students. This research was conducted at SDN Serut Baru with the research subject being a class V teacher using the interview method.

Abstract

Abstract Online learning is something new for educators and students, as well as parents. This novelty raises problems as well as the objectives of this research, namely 1) to find out how the implementation of online learning is; 2) to find out what obstacles are faced by the learning participants. This research is a case study research, with the data sources in the form of documents/archives, observations, and interviews. The data analysis technique is in the form of interactive analysis, namely continuous analysis, starting with data discovery, data collection, data reduction to arrive at conclusions and verification descriptively. The results of the study show that 1) online learning involves many parties (several components), such as teachers, students, parents, internet networks, devices, delivery techniques, and available electronic media; 2) The cause of the imperfection of online learning is because a) the teacher is already used to offline learning and stutters in dealing with online learning; b) students use negative learning freedom and are very dependent on the role of parents; c) parents also stutter in dealing with online learning technology and are highly dependent on the family economy; d) electricity disturbances and lack of quota/credit are the main reasons for not being able to take part in online learning; e) standard devices are reasons for students/parents not to be able to participate in online learning; f) the application of the offline lecture method is not appropriate for online learning because the teacher cannot control the activities of the students; g) teachers do not yet have the ability to use electronic media in learning using Google Meet. Abstract

In learning, a media is needed to support teaching and learning activities so that it is easier and more effective in delivering material by educators and receiving material by students. This research is to find out the application of the game method "Police Numpang Tanya" in social studies learning for students aged 9-10 years in Gombang village. This study uses a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach is used as information relating to the improvement or enhancement of the learning process. The research design used is descriptive. This method is carried out by describing a symptom, event, incident that is happening at the present time. The results of the study showed that the learning process using the Police Numpang Tanya Game Method in Social Studies Learning for Students Age 9-10 in Gombang Village experienced an increase in the average score from 51.5 to 62.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the education sector underwent a change from face-to-face learning (offline) to an online learning process or distance learning (PJJ). Each lesson, the teaching and learning process is carried out remotely (online) which utilizes the internet network and information and communication technology. The study aims to determine the activity of students in participating in online physical education sports and health learning activities during the pandemic in class XI IPS 3 students at SMA Negeri 1 Wedi. This study uses a collaborative method where this method emphasizes the role of parents during distance learning. Parents play a role in accompanying and motivating children during the learning process. This study used data collection using interview techniques, observations and online literature searches. Then the collected data were analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results of this study indicate that distance learning in the subject of Physical Education, Sports and Health in class XI IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Wedi, students, have increased their activeness in participating in the distance learning process. The number of students who collected assignments before the application of the collaborative method was 60%, after applying the collaborative method, the number of students who collected assignments was 90%.

Abstract

Based on initial observations of the learning process, it was obtained data that class XII MIPA I students at SMAN 1 Negeri Wedi had a fairly low achievement motivation, this was indicated by a lack of student concentration when receiving lessons, the existence of teacher communication in learning activities that was not effective and a lack of understanding of students' self-concept about learning goals. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a series of services provided by counselors, one of which is classical guidance services. The purpose of this service is to provide students with an understanding that increasing achievement motivation is very necessary. Classical guidance that will be carried out with the methodLearning Together. Based on the data on the research results in the first cycle stage, criterion A was 6% (2) of children, then increased to 16% (5) of children in cycle II. While in criterion B in cycle I, there were 59% (19) of children and rose again to 66% (21) of children in cycle II. While in criterion C in cycle I, there were 34% (11) children and decreased in cycle II to 19% (6) children. While criterion D in the stages of cycle I and cycle II did not meet this criterion. Meanwhile, criterion E was not found in either cycle I or cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether the use of song lyric can improve students' short story writing skills and to identify effective teaching strategies in using song lyric as inspiration in writing short stories. The research method used in this study was Classroom Action Research (PTK) which lasted for 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class IX MIPA 1, academic year 2022/2023, which consisted of 36 students. The research instrument used was an observation sheet (observation). Technical data analysis of this research uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. Based on the results of research on the pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2, it was found that there was an increase in short story writing skills starting from the pre-cycle, cycle 1, and cycle 2, with average score 67.7; 78.4; an 84.7addition, based on the results obtained in this study, it is known that the implementation of using favorite objects has an effect on improving the short story writing skills of class XI MIPA 1 students. Abstract

Learning about the normal distribution is closely related to function formulas and theories dealing with mathematical symbols. This understanding of mathematical normal distribution theories often creates its own obstacles for students. To provide an easier understanding, a visualization is needed in learning, so that students have a clearer picture of the normal distribution. Through the simulation method visualization of the normal distribution theories is carried out. The simulation was carried out using the help of software R. Through the simulation, students can find out the curve of the normal distribution density function and can modify the desired parameters. This can clarify some of the properties of the normal distribution density function. Simulations were also carried out on the cumulative distribution function to provide a clearer picture of the nature of the cumulative distribution function. The transformation of a normally distributed random variable with parameter µ and variance σ2 into a standard normally distributed random variable can also be explained visually. Through this visualization, students have a clearer picture to support theoretical learning mathematically. Furthermore, students have a better understanding in learning material about the normal distribution

Abstract

The study aims to imprve the learning process and writing skills of poetry texts for class X Social 3 SMAN 1 Kalasan in the academic year 2022/2023. The learning process and writing skills of poetry are improved through the application of the strategy reviewing a film. This type of research is a classroom action research conducted by the writer with the teacher as well as collaborator in two cycles. The subject of this study were students of class X Social 3 SMAN 1 Kalasan. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, filling out questionnaires amd written tests. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the reviewing a film strategy in the learning process of writing poetry texts, especially in tems of skills and student activity whwn responding to questions about doing exercises or assignment 72,53%, and taking notes has increased to 88,75% in two cycles. Then in terms of learning outcomes writing poetry texts can improve skills as evidenced by the competency test. In the first cycle the average obtained was 78,33 and increased again to 88,17 in the second cycle. So, it can be concluded that the strategi of reviewing a film is effective in improving the learning process and writing skills of student class X Social 3 SMAN 1 Kalasan.

Abstract

There are four language skills that must be mastered by students, namely (1) listening, (2) reading and viewing, (3) speaking and presenting, and (4) writing. One problem that arises in class X IPS 2 SMA N 1 Kalasan is that students do not have good skills in writing poetry. So, this classroom action research aimed to improve the poetry writing skills of class X IPS 2 SMA N 1 Kalasan with audiovisual media of poetry musicalization. This classroom action research has four stages in each cycle, namely (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. All of these stages are described in 3 learning cycles, namely pre-cycle, as well as cycle 1 and cycle 2 with treatment or action. Based on the research data that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of audiovisual learning media to musical poetry can improve students' poetry writing skills. This is evidenced by before the action, the percentage of students who completed learning to write poetry was only 21.9%. However, after the action, in cycle 1 as many as 56.1% of students completed. Moreover, in cycle 2 as many as 84.4% of students completed learning to write poetry. Keywords: writing poetry, audiovisual media, poetry musicalization, language skills
