A qualitative strategy combined with techniques from descriptive analysis was used to perform this study. Interviews and documentation are the methods of data gathering employed in this study. This is evident from the organizational structure, budget planning, classification of account codes, and accountability reporting. However, the classification of controllable costs and uncontrollable costs has not yet been carried out. The performance of the cost center at the Sintesa Peninsula Manado Hotel is considered quite good because it has worked in the planning process and controlled the costs incurred

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is the company's social responsibility to the surrounding environment. The condition of the company can be seen through the company's financial performance in generating profits every year. If profits continue to rise every year, the company's management has succeeded in carrying it out. However, if profits continue to decline or are unstable, the company management needs to evaluate and make strategies so that the profits generated by the company can increase. The main purpose of CSR activities is to obtain an increase in profit, because profit is very instrumental in maintaining the survival of the company in accordance with the principle of going concern. To achieve this, the company can improve its performance by managing its business activities effectively, efficiently, and economically. This article uses the meta-analysis method, namely by comparing several articles that have similar topics. The results show that more research shows that CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) has a positive effect on the profitability generated by a company so that the financial performance of the company is getting better.

Abstract

This study investigated the role of the digital economy on the growth of the Nigerian economy. Quarterly data on the two indicators of the digital economy which include internet penetration and ICT and some other control variables were analyzed using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag Model (ARDL). In addition to that, the Bound test is employed to determine the long-run relationship among the variables. The findings showed that the digital economy indicators are negatively impacting the growth of GDP and productivity in Nigeria. The unfavorable result can be attributed to the dominance of the government in the ICT sector. Before the 2001 liberalization agenda, the sector was entirely owned and managed by the Nigerian Government through the Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL).

Abstract

Electronic money and QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard) are digital payment tools that are increasingly popular in Indonesia. Electronic money, stored in digital form on a chip or server, facilitates transactions with greater speed and convenience than cash. QRIS, introduced by Bank Indonesia, unites various digital wallet applications in one QR code, making it easier for merchants to accept payments from various digital platforms. QRIS BRI Mobile, an innovation from Bank BRI, supports MSME profitability by expanding markets, increasing efficiency, transparency and reducing operational costs. The implementation of QRIS BRI Mobile not only helps MSMEs increase efficiency and reduce operational costs, but also opens up new opportunities to increase revenue and profitability. The suggestions from this research are to increase education and socialization of the use of electronic money and QRIS to the public, as well as encouraging the development of security features and ease of transactions by banks and payment service providers. Apart from that, adaptive regulations that support innovation from the government and related institutions are also needed to encourage economic growth and financial inclusion in Indonesia.

In this case, the researcher gathered primary data from the members of the self-help group of Palakkad district and secondary data from a variety of articles, magazines, and newspapers. Regression analysis, one-way anova, correlation coefficient, and independent t-test are the techniques employed in this research. The aforementioned studies, which were carried out in various parts of India, discovered that self-help groups affected women's empowerment. This study focuses on the various factors that contribute to women's empowerment through self-help groups. All of the prior research has generally discussed SHG membership and women's empowerment; however, this study focuses on a few key variables that lead to women's empowerment through the groups. The study discovered that women's empowerment is impacted by self-help groups. Taking part in the training program is one way to increase the ability to make decisions in the self-help group. Through the self-help group, the decision-making power within the group contributes to the empowerment of women. Women's empowerment is associated not only with their ability to make decisions within the group but also with their socioeconomic level and involvement in training programs.

Abstract

Competition in a less conducive macro environment has an impact on the decline of universities that are unable to compete. A study on the application of defensive strategies to 23 articles selected from 86 articles concluded that the threat of university decline was influenced by internal environmental factors (inaccuracy of the promotion mix), industrial environmental factors (changes in interest and competition) and macro environmental factors (college-age demographics, political policies, economic downturn, neoliberal education policies and pandemics). In a disadvantaged environment, universities are required to be observant, patient, and cautious in their awareness of crisis situations, so that they are able to take advantage of opportunities that are in line with the limitations of their strength to rise in new situations
