Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah janda muda di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar menjadi isu sosial yang cukup besar, khususnya jika dilihat dari perspektif gender. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mendorong perempuan melakukan perceraian di usia muda dan dampak sosial yang mereka hadapi pasca perceraian. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap janda muda di Kecamatan Polewali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keputusan untuk menjadi janda muda dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT), campur tangan orang tua, perselingkuhan, serta perasaan diabaikan atau diremehkan oleh pasangannya. Lebih jauh, pernikahan dini tanpa kesiapan emosional dan ekonomi yang memadai memperburuk ketahanan rumah tangga. Perceraian dipandang oleh para informan sebagai pilihan rasional untuk menjaga martabat, kesejahteraan mental, dan mengejar kehidupan yang lebih bermakna. Setelah perceraian, para perempuan ini sering menghadapi tantangan sosial seperti stigma negatif, beban keuangan, dan peran ganda sebagai pencari nafkah dan pengasuh tunggal. Temuan ini menyoroti kebutuhan mendesak akan dukungan dari keluarga, masyarakat, dan lembaga pemerintah dalam melindungi dan memberdayakan perempuan yang memilih untuk hidup sebagai janda muda.

Abstract

his study aims to analyze the political communication strategies implemented by Joko Pramono as a member of the Regional Representative Council in the 2024 elections in Electoral District IV Karanganyar. Specifically, this study focuses on social media, particularly Instagram, using the account @masjokpram. This study employs the impression management Theory. According to Jones and Pittman, five strategies can be applied: Ingratiation, Intimidation, Self-Promotion, Exemplification, and Supplication. This study employs a descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques that include in-depth interviews, observation of social media posts, and other forms of documentation. The primary focus of this study is how Joko Pramono builds his political image and establishes closeness with the public through social media, particularly Instagram. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The object of this study is the Instagram account @masjokpram during the 2024 election. Triangulation was conducted to achieve an objective and in-depth understanding. The results of the survey demonstrate that Joko Pramono utilizes Instagram as a political communication strategy.

Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of cultural communication between the Javanese and Chinese ethnic groups in Tebing Tinggi City, North Sumatra, with a focus on the communication strategies used by the Chinese ethnic group as a minority group to adapt to the Javanese majority society. A qualitative approach using ethnography and ethnomethodology was employed to understand the interactions, communication styles, and barriers that arise in the daily lives of both ethnic groups. The research findings reveal that differences in value systems, linguistic politeness, and communication styles daily lives of both ethnic groups. The findings of the study indicate that differences in value systems, language etiquette, and communication styles between the two ethnic groups initially led to negative perceptions. However, through increased interaction, social participation, and adaptation efforts, both communities successfully built harmonious relationships within the framework of cultural diversity.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan periode yang ditandai dengan perubahan besar dalam aspek fisik, psikologis, sosial, dan emosional, yang dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan remaja dalam mengendalikan diri dan meningkatkan kemungkinan munculnya perilaku agresif. Pola asuh otoriter dan tingkat self-esteem diyakini memiliki peranan penting dalam membentuk perilaku agresif pada remaja, khususnya di kalangan siswa SMP Swasta Sultan Iskandar Muda Medan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 160 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan metode nonproportional stratified random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan skala Likert yang mencakup skala perilaku agresif, pola asuh otoriter, dan self-esteem, yang diadaptasi dari Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES). Analisis data dilakukan dengan regresi linear berganda menggunakan SPSS Statistics 21 for Windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis utama didukung, yakni terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh otoriter dan self-esteem terhadap perilaku agresif (F = 14,037; p = 0,000, p 0,05). Uji hipotesis minor menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh otoriter berhubungan positif secara signifikan dengan perilaku agresif ( = 0,380; p = 0,000), sedangkan self-esteem tidak menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan ( = -0,028; p = 0,722). Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,141 mengindikasikan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut berkontribusi sebesar 14,1% terhadap perilaku agresif, sementara sisanya, yaitu 85,9%, dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam studi ini.

Abstract

Pengorganisasian pada kurikulum merupakan sebuah bentuk penyususnan bahan ajar yang akan diberikan kepada peserta didik. Pengorganisasian ini juga merupakan sebuah cara untuk mempermudah ketercapaian dalam proses belajar mengajar sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai secara efektif dan efisien. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengulas berbagai jenis pengorganisasian kurikulum yang dikembangkan oleh para ahli pendidikan serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengorganisasian pada kurikulum. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan metode studi pustaka. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa jenis pengorganisasian kurikulum, seperti kurikulum mata pelajaran, kurikulum terhubung, kurikulum luas, kurikulum terpadu dan kurikulum inti. Pemilihan jenis pengorganisasian kurikulum yang tepat harus mempertimbangkan berbagai macam faktor, diantaranya tujuan pendidikan, karakteristik peserta didik, kondisi sekolah serta konteks sosial dan budaya.

Abstract

In writing this article will review the analysis of loyalty and fanaticism factors in the Psycho Sociology of PSIM Jogja supporters tucked away in the Anthem "Aku Yakin Dengan Kamu". The research method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis, where data sources obtained from journals and books will be processed and reduced into a writing. The results of this article emphasize in the anthem "Aku Yakin Dengan Kamu" seen in full how in the lyrics of the song there is certainly a spirit that will be built by PSIM Jogja supporters which is accumulated in the context of fanaticism that can be realized in several products produced such as those directly related to the PSIM Jogja club whether it is merchandise, match tickets or even interesting content created on social media related to PSIM Jogja. So, it is very clear from the manifestation of the increasing expression of fanaticism, starting from excessive love for their favorite football team to actualization in the behavior of purchasing or using their football team attributes. By looking at this context, it has been very clear that fanaticism has been able to encourage football teams to spend their money to get merchandise on the team they support. But on the other hand, the psycho-sociological condition of PSIM Jogja supporters, the fanaticism that exists leads to social friction that ends in chaos with other community groups, especially other supporter groups considering that many supporter groups come from the lower middle class and they really need entertainment.

Abstract

Since 2019, Jayapura City has had a Wastewater Management Operator, but the city's Safe Sanitation target has not been achieved. This study aims to analyze the effect of operator performance on the condition and operational effectiveness of the Septage Treatment Plant (STP). Using a quantitative approach, this study explores the relationship between the Service Aspect, Financial Aspect, Operational Aspect, Human Resource Aspect of the Wastewater Operator, to the physical condition and performance of the STP. The results showed that the performance of the Jayapura City UPTD PALD operator is still less than the performance standard, this can be seen from the Performance Index worth 4.542 points (category D). The operator performance factor that has the most significant influence on the condition of the Koya Koso STP is the Operational Aspect. This aspect only contributes 0.688 points out of a potential maximum score of 2 points. This is in line with field conditions, where a series of treatment units are no longer functioning normally. This study provides recommendations for light rehabilitation, especially in the processing unit, and intensive supervision in the implementation of the Technical SOP, so that the STP can return to normal functioning.

Abstract

This study explores the symbolic meanings embedded in the lyrics of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin through the lens of Roland Barthes' semiotic theory. The song was selected due to its rich symbolism and the profound philosophical messages conveyed through both its lyrical content and musical structure. The primary aim of this research is to uncover how Led Zeppelin constructs and conveys their artistic identity through symbolic elements that engage with themes of spirituality, existentialism, and critiques of materialistic culture. Employing a qualitative research method with a descriptive-interpretative design, this study draws data from official lyric documentation, musical references, and media archives. The analysis focuses on three layers of meaning in the lyrics: (1) denotation as literal meaning, (2) connotation as emotional and cultural significance, and (3) myth as an ideological narrative. The findings reveal that the symbol of the "stairway to heaven" functions as a critique of consumerism; the crossroads symbolize existential freedom; and natural imagery evokes a sense of spiritual connection to the natural world. Together, these symbols construct a modern myth that demonstrates how Led Zeppelin not only produced music but also engaged in cultural storytelling that is both philosophical and introspective. The song ultimately reflects the bands identity as an artistic entity that transcends entertainment, inviting listeners to contemplate lifes deeper meanings through metaphor and symbolic representation.

Abstract

This article explores the revitalization of choir singing amidst the dominance of band-based music in local church worship practices, with a case study at the Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (GPdI) El Roi in Sawahan Village, Karanganyar. The study employed a qualitative case study approach to examine the strategies, music education values, and participation dynamics within the church choir. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and church documentation. The findings reveal that the choir remains active through structured coaching, youth involvement in regeneration, and strong collective spirit. Beyond functioning as a worship ensemble, the choir serves as a non-formal music education medium that reinforces spiritual, social, and aesthetic values. These findings reinforce the discourse that community-based arts practices play a vital role in shaping religious identity and communal solidarity, even in non-urban settings. This research contributes to the development of arts education within religious community contexts.

Abstract

This study explores the symbolic meanings and representations of alternative identity in the song Keluarga Babi by the indie pop-punk band Pyong Pyong from Semarang, Indonesia. The song was selected for its articulation of cultural resistance against social domination and power through the medium of music. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach and symbolic analysis, the research examines how the figures of the pig (babi) and the wolf (srigala) in the lyrics function as social metaphors. The pig symbolizes marginalized groups perceived as inferior but who maintain solidarity, integrity, and courage, while the wolf represents corrupt power structures that oppress the people. The analysis draws on Stuart Halls theory of identity construction, expressivist aesthetics, and Sartrean existentialism to interpret the values of resistance and the courage to choose an alternative way of life. The findings indicate that the song constitutes a form of collective, symbolic, and existential identity expression that challenges domination and celebrates the bravery of being different. This research contributes to the discourse on independent music as a site for the production of cultural meaning and local political resistance.
