Abstract

Assessment activities that are often used by teachers are conventional, namely, students doing written questions and students answering on answer sheets provided by the teacher. Conventional assessment has several disadvantages, namely the cost of procuring paper for doubling questions, less effective and efficient proofreading time, and errors when correcting. The purpose of the study was to develop a word wall-based assessment instrument on Body Parts and Senses material for elementary school students. This research is included in development research that modifies the research steps of Borg Gall. The method of data collection is through validation questionnaires filled out by experts using the Likert scale. While the calculation of the validity test uses Aikes's formula. Based on validation tests from material experts, linguists, media experts, and instrument experts, the BATURADEN word wall application-based assessment instrument is valid. Based on reliability tests conducted during small-scale tests, the BATURADEN word wall application-based assessment instrument was declared valid with a value of 0.758 which means it is reliable.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the Loyang Mendale and Loyang Ujung Karang sites, based on their relics have the potential as a source of historical learning. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Sources of literature in the study came from scientific articles and books related to the excavation results of the Loyang Mendale and Loyang Ujung Karang sites. The results of this study are to describe findings of Hoabinh cultural tools from the Mesolithic period, to Austronesian cultural tools from the Neolithic period at both sites. Based on the results of the archaeological finds, the Loyang Mendale and Ujung Karang sites have the potential to be used as sources for learning history, and can be grouped into KD 3.4 and 4. 4 in the Indonesian History subject class X with the teaching material of prehistoric Life in Indonesia. Learning history by using local pre-historic cultural relics is expected to foster students' interest in loving the history of their area.

Abstract

Education is the primary need of every human being that can improve human dignity and dignity itself. Moreover, in the 21st century, education faces a severe challenge, namely the challenge of globalization, which requires every human being to master knowledge and technology, for those who do not have education, they will naturally be excluded from global competition. One of the steps that can be taken to advance the education sector is by innovating in the delivery of learning materials. This research aims to; 1) Developing interactive learning media in economic learning to increase the interest in learning of grade X students of Stabat Preparation High School; 2) Knowing the response of students to the use of interactive learning media in economic learning increases the interest in learning of grade X students of Stabat Preparation High School. This research is a Research and Development (RD) research that adopts the development of Borg Gall. The subjects in this study were grade X students of Stabat Preparatory High School with data collection instruments used in the form of questionnaires given to media experts, material experts, and educators in the field of economic studies to test the quality of interactive learning media in economic learning and student response questionnaires to determine the interest and response of students to the learning media developed. The type of data produced is qualitative data that is analyzed with assessment category criteria guidelines to determine product quality.

Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company operating in the electromedical sector that has supported many domestic medical devices in recent years. The demand for electromedical equipment seen from sales data is very volatile and difficult to predict, apart from that 70% of the requests received come from government institutions. The problem is compounded by the absence of a forecasting policy so that production activity planning is not optimal. Product inventory that is not accompanied by careful calculations will result in overstock and stockout which can increase total costs and reduce service levels. In carrying out its business PT. XYZ implements an existing inventory management policy which is carried out by ordering product components in large quantities but there is no clear reorder point. So this research will observe the product components CMS-600 PLUS, ECG-1200G, TENSIONE, ECG-300G, SON-C, SON-B, SON-PRO, USG PROMAX, PROMIST-3, MED-01, ECG- 100G, and ULTRAMIST then proposed the Croston and Syntetos-Boylan Approximation (SBA) forecasting method to estimate possible demand in the future and then continuous review inventory management policies (s, S) and (s, Q) to determine the maximum reorder point value. stock and order quantity. After that, a Monte Carlo simulation was carried out to see and compare existing policies with improvement policies based on total cost and service level variables. Next, a sensitivity analysis was carried out to determine the robustness of the simulation model to changes in uncertainty. The results obtained are recommendations for a continuous review (s, Q) policy with total cost savings of IDR 22,206,322,981 and an increase in service level of 1.36% to 99.98% compared to the existing policy.

Abstract

This literature review aims to discuss the impact of effective corporate governance on implementation developments for companies conducting initial public offerings (IPOs) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Based on good corporate governance practices in Asia, Indonesia is a low-ranking company, so this study uses 10 variables approved by the Indonesian Ministry of Research and Technology. Good corporate governance variables include committees, independent committees, board of directors, directors, board of directors and independent directors. The test used as a method is a systematic literature search. The results of this study show empirical evidence in a review that the effectiveness of corporate governance has a positive and negative effect on underpricing.

Abstract

Mawardy Nurdin adalah teknokrat tulen yang berhasil mengikuti perjalanan karier kepemimpinannya yang diawali sebagai pegawai harian sampai menjadi Walikota Banda Aceh sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan latar belakang kehidupan keluarga Mawardy Nurdin, (2) menjelaskan perjalanan karier Mawardy Nurdin dan (3) menjelaskan peranan Mawardy Nurdin dalam membangun Kota Banda Aceh pasca tsunami. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode sejarah. Adapun tehnik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mawardy Nurdin dipercayakan menjadi tokoh pembangunan Kota Banda Aceh yang diawali oleh kepemimpinan ayahnya sebagai tokoh masyarakat dan politisi, sehingga sangat mendukung dalam pencapaian keberhasilan yang telah diraih dan mengantarkan kepercayaan dirinya untuk mengambil tonggak kepemimpinan selama dua periode, (2) situasi dan kondisi menjadi faktor pendukung besarnya dari perjalanan karier yang telah dilalui sehingga ia pantas mendapatkan tanggung jawab yang lebih besar lagi dalam menata kembali Kota Banda Aceh pasca bencana gempa dan tsunami, (3) Mawardy Nurdin menjadi tokoh pembangunan Kota Banda Aceh karena memiliki peranan yang sangat besar dalam pembangunan infrastruktur dan pelayanan bagi masyarakat, sehingga Mawardy Nurdin dapat meraih prestasi dan penghargaan berupa adipura pada tahun 2009, 2010, 2012 dan 2013. Disarankan penelitian ini dapat disebarluaskan guna mengisi bahan bacaan generasi muda agar dapat mengetahui tentang tokoh yang telah berjasa pada masanya.

Abstract

For institutions that provide training services to participants, trainee satisfaction is a very important factor because if participants have attended the training and completed the class level and participants feel satisfied, then they will come back for further classes and can even help recommend services to their friends. This study also takes a brand image as an interference variable because the brand image is an aspect that determines the selection of a training institution and is felt to have an impact on the satisfaction of trainees. This study aims to determine the effect between instructor quality and service quality on trainee satisfaction through brand image interference variables. This type of research uses a quantitative approach and the analysis method used is the path analysis method. The subjects in this study were selected using purposive sampling with categories were participants who had attended training at LPK AXELBIT Surabaya more than twice over the past two years and were taken as many as 100 respondents by the theory of Copper Emery. The results of this study show that 1) there is a significant positive relationship between brand image and trainee satisfaction, 2) there is a positive and significant relationship between instructor quality and brand image, 3) there is a significant positive relationship between service quality and brand image, 4) there is a significant positive relationship between instructor quality and trainee satisfaction, 5) no significant influence was found between variable instructor quality Brand image interference on trainee satisfaction, 6) no significant effect was found between service quality on trainee satisfaction, 7) there was a significant positive influence between service quality on trainee satisfaction through brand image interference variables

Abstract

This research discusses alternative Islamic family conflict resolution through sulh, the implementation process and its success in the Syariah Court. This research is a qualitative research with a normative juridical approach based on Malaysian legislation and Islamic law. Islam advocates peace in every conflict that occurs through the concept of ridha and tolerance. Sulh is one of the effective alternatives to conflict resolution through peace in the community other than through court proceedings which require longer time and higher costs. The successful implementation of sulh in the Syariah Court is evidence that this method is able to reduce cases pending in the Syariah Court over the years. The increase in cases that have been successfully resolved through the sulh method has increased the reputation of the Syariah Court among the community.

Abstract

The Indonesian people should be proud of the diverse cultures that we have. That pride must last forever, the Indonesian people must be good at taking care of their culture. Do not expect other people to love and admire our culture, therefore we ourselves must maintain and care for our culture. The implementation of the death ritual of Mosalaki Puu (Traditional Leader Leader) is a form of respect for the ancestors of the Wolotopo indigenous people, which has been inherited from generation to generation. The results of the study found that when Mosalaki Puu (Traditional Leader Leader) died, there were several rituals carried out, namely 1) beating the gong, 2) washing the corpse, 3) bending the corpse's legs and wearing oversized clothes, 4) honoring the corpse, 5) procession of the corpse towards grave pits, and 6) burial of bodies. The meaning contained in some of the rituals of death rituals.

Abstract

This study aimed to figure out how effective the use of Youtube as a learning media in teaching English for conversation class. The method of the study used was descriptive qualitative. The use of Youtube was considered as a good media to use for teaching English because by Youtube, an English lecturer or teacher can download many interesting videos to present at class. The use of Youtube was also able to avoid the boringness that often comes to the students when learning English. It was proved by the result of this study which revealed that 84% of the students extremely agreed using Youtube as the learning source and media. And 16% of the students agreed using Youtube and considered Youtube as interesting learning source. So, it was concluded that the videos downloaded from Youtube was effective to use in teaching English particularly for speaking
