Abstract

Port closure as an effort to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus has had various impacts, such as port congestion which has led to delays and drastically increased transportation costs. This study examines the impacts caused by port closures and legal remedies that can be taken based on international sea transport law. Losses due to port closures cannot be borne by the carrier based on the conventions of sea shipping law as long as the carrier can prove that the fault was not his own. The closure of the port can be categorized as a hardship, in which there are fundamental changes that affect the agreement, namely the increase in shipping costs and delays. efforts that can be made based on the UPICC are renegotiation, and if it fails, the parties can seek a dispute settlement through the courts. In implementing the agreement, the parties must prioritize the principle of good faith and prove that the losses incurred and losses did not originate from themselves.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Merdeka Belajar through museums as a learning resource in differentiated project based history learning in class XII of Social Studies at Senior High School 4 Bandung. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, interviews and equipped with a questionnaire. The results of the study indicate that: The need to design differentiated project based learning through museum as a learning resource in a systematic and planned; The implementation of differentiated project based learning is carried out in the classroom and visits to the Museum of the Asian African Conference as a learning resource; In practice, the teacher gives students freedom within certain limits to choose the type of project, participation in the work, to the type of social media as a means of publishing student work; The results obtained in project based learning are differentiated, namely students become active, students can find out so they can make works from museums as educational and inspirational learning resources; In addition, teachers can develop the potential of different students through differentiation projects. This research is expected to be an input for further research and can be implemented in differentiated project based learning.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah yang dirasakan dunia pendidikan adalah lemahnya proses pembelajaran. Dimana orientasi belajar hanya terpusat pada guru, sehingga kegiatan pembelajaran terkesan sangat membosankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh apa penerapan metode pembelajaran Talking Stick dalam peningkatan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII-D SMP Negeri 2 Kualasimpang pada materi Usaha Mempertahankan Kemerdekaan Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes, lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Penerapan metode pembelajaran Talking Stick pada siswa kelas VIII-D SMP 2 Kualasimpang, (2) Peningkatan pretasi belajar siswa setelah diterapkan metode pembelajaran Talking Stick, (3) Kendala yang dihadapi guru pada saat penerapan metode pembelajaran Talking Stick pada siswa kelas VIII-D SMP 2 Kualasimpang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 3 (tiga) siklus. Pelaksanaan tindakan I dilaksanakan sebanyak 1 (satu) kali pertemuan selama 2 (dua) jam pelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan siklus I tidak terjadi peningkatan dari pre-test awal yang dilakukan peneliti. Hal itu disebabkan oleh model yang digunakan guru selama ini merupakan model konvensional. Sehingga siswa sangat bosan menerima pembelajaran IPS ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan penerapan model pembelajaran Talking Stick  dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VIII-D SMP Negeri 2 Kualasimpang.

Abstract

ULVA-Q is an MSME engaged in the food beverage industry that sells products the form of seaweed. The purpose of this research is to find out what information systems are needed by ULVA-Q SMEs. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection in the form of primary and secondary. Primary data was obtained through the interview process, while secondary data was obtained through information on similar existing research or literature studies and conducted previously so that we can compare it with the research we have just done. The result of this research is the implementation of the Odoo application on ULVA-Q by using the website and social marketing modules.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus is a deadly virus that is faced by almost all countries, without exception, in various parts of Indonesia. Our country Indonesia has been greatly affected by the spread of Covid-19. Various kinds of new variants are coming back, namely the Covid-19 variant of Delta, which forces the government to act quickly even though sometimes it's not right. All forms of policies are taken to suppress the spread of the virus. We call it Lock Down, Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), Micro-Scale Social Restrictions, there is also the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM in all provinces and DKI). Apart from health and mortality rates, Covid-19 does not also affect the economy. The middle to lower class society is greatly affected by this condition. Therefore, this research will review the impact of COVID-19 on the economic conditions of UMKM in the Tanjung Morawa area, Deli Serdang. The data collection process was carried out by means of interviews with several traders selling around the Tanjung Morawa Market area and documentation then carried out a qualitative descriptive research method approach. The results of this study show that there is a significant impact of the covid19 pandemic on UMKM.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how (1) the background of the birth of the Ummul Ayman Islamic Boarding School was, (2) the education management system of the Ummul Ayman Islamic Boarding School was in handling children victims of the Aceh conflict before the Helsinki MoU. (3) the education management system of the Ummul Ayman Islamic Boarding School in handling children victims of the Aceh conflict after the Helsinki MoU, (4) the results of the education process for children of Aceh conflict victims at the Ummul Ayman Islamic Boarding School were . The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of this study are (1) the background of the establishment of the Ummul Ayman Islamic Boarding School when conditions in Aceh were being hit by armed conflict which caused many negative impacts and the destruction of the social order of society in various aspects of life , especially in the aspect of education. (2), the education management system of the Ummul Ayman Islamic boarding school before the peace in Aceh followed the national education system, while the non-formal education system of the Ummul Ayman Islamic boarding school followed the Dayah Salafiyah method. (3) After the MoU in Helsinki, the situation in the Aceh Province began to improve, Islamic boarding schools began to be built. (4), the results of the education process for children victims of the Aceh conflict at the Ummul Ayman Islamic Boarding School after they leave or finish there are ustadz/teaching staff, establish study centers, writers, and continue

Abstract

The development of technology provides a huge impact on the educational setting which increasing Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) usage especially in supporting ESP students. One of the mobile applications used in supporting language learning is WhatsApp Messenger. This study aimed to investigate ESP students perceptions on the use of WhatsApp in English language learning. The research approach was a descriptive quantitative approach while the design of this research was a survey. The participants were 22 male ESP students who followed the English class held by Helutrans Art-moving Company. For collecting the data, the researcher employed a questionnaire adapted from Mistar Embi (2016). The questionnaire consisted of three parts such as the attitude towards WhatsApp, the usefulness of WhatsApp and also the constraint in using WhatsApp. In analyzing the data, it applied descriptive statistics using SPSS version 26 in the form of frequencies, means, and standard deviations. The findings of the research revealed that the majority of the research participants had positive perceptions concerning the use of WhatsApp in the ESP setting. It implied that ESP students agreed for using WhatsApp on language learning was easy, useful and effective in increasing their motivation, interest, confidence, and their activeness. They also felt that using WhatsApp could increase their English skill such as listening, reading, writing and speaking.

Abstract

Penelitian berjudul “Perjuangan Perlawanan Rakyat Aceh terhadap Pendudukan Jepang (1942-1945): Studi Kasus Perang Bayu dan Perang Pandrah” ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses terjadinya perlawanan rakyat Aceh terhadap pendudukan tentara Jepang di Aceh dalam kurun waktu tahun 1942-1945. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah yang bersifat deskriptif analisis. Metode ini dimulai dengan tahap heuristik atau tahap pengumpulan data, yaitu tahap di mana peneliti mengumpulkan sumber-sumber yang berkaitan dengan tajuk yang diangkat. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan sumber primer dan sumber sekunder. Untuk tahap kedua adalah tahap kritik, yakni memeriksa data yang telah dikumpulkan. Tahap ketiga yakni interpretasi atau memberikan makna pada fakta-fakta bukti sejarah. Selanjutnya tahap keempat atau tahap terakhir adalah penulisan sejarah. Dari hasil penelitian kami, keadaan Aceh saat pendudukan militer Jepang di Indonesia penuh dengan pemberontakan., pemberontakan ini dilatar belakangi oleh berbagai hal, di antaranya adalah menumpas kegiatan maksiat yang dilakukan oleh tentara Jepang dan juga sebagai bentuk respon atas tindakan kekerasan yang dilakukan tentara Jepang terhadap rakyat Aceh. Dalam penelitian ini kami berfokus pada dua perang besar yang melibatkan antara rakyat Aceh dan pemerintah Jepang, yakni Perang Bayu dan Perang Pandrah. Perang Bayu merupakan perang yang dipimpin oleh Tgk. Abdul Jalil sebagai bentuk respon kegiatan kemaksiatan yang dilakukan tentara Jepang. Perang Bayu pecah pada tanggal 10 November 1942 dan mengakibatkan Tgk. Abdul Jalil gugur. Sedangkan Perang Pandrah bisa dikatakan sebagai perang lanjutan dari Perang Bayu, Perlawanan yang terjadi di Lheue Simpang Pandrah atau yang dikenal dengan Perang Pandrah ini dipimpin oleh Keuchik Usman, Keuchik Johan, Tengku Ibrahim Peudada, Tengku Jacob, Tengku Akop Pang, dan Tengku Nyak Isa.

Abstract

Pasar.Id Malang is an e-commerce that encourages traditional market businesses to adapt digital systems and virtual buying and selling activities through an online platform, namely the Pasar.Id website. To introduce to the public, Pasar.Id Malang uses Instagram as a branding medium. However, when compared to several e-commerce Instagram accounts that also focus on selling consumer goods, small and medium enterprise (MSME) products, and basic necessities, Pasar.Id Malang still has a relatively small number of followers. This research method is qualitative with a virtual ethnography approach with the aim of uncovering and describing all subject interactions in the virtual world in this case branding activities carried out by Pasar.Id Malang through Instagram social media. Data is collected through virtual observation activities and also in-depth interviews to test the validity of the data. From the results of the study, the social media strategy that @pasar.idmalang in conducting branding to build brand awareness is an audit or discovery, determining plans in using Instagram, optimizing Instagram content, and evaluating the use of Instagram. In addition, it was found that the brand awareness of followers of Instagram @pasar.idmalang is at the supported awareness level which shows that consumers only know or remember Pasar.Id Malang when other people mention the brand.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the meaning contained in the types of designs and symbols on weaving cloth, especially for women in Koting village. The research used qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and study documentation. The results of the analysis found several types of weaving, with the types of designs such as geometric design, nature design and combination design. In addition, it was found several types of symbols such as lines, forms and colors. The researcher concludes that the overall meaning contained in weaving cloth is self-esteem and a reflection of the goodness of a woman such as loving, protecting, respecting in a family and others.
