Abstract

The swift progress of technology has yielded numerous advantages, particularly for organizations engaged in vocational education, such as E-learning Marketplace in Bandung (Luarsekolah). One of the advantages of technology in vocational education is the use of attendance system technology. Luarsekolah's attendance system employs a conventional fingerprint recognition method, which frequently encounters difficulties when employees attempt to clock in, as their fingerprints are occasionally not acknowledged. Hence, creating a system that facilitates and streamlines employee attendance without requiring physical interaction is imperative. To address this, a facial recognition system utilizing the eigenface approach, with a development methodology based on the waterfall method, is suggested. Using the Eigenface PCA (Principal Component Analysis) technique, this system can function in real time. The research findings demonstrate the efficacy of the eigenface approach in real-time applications. The eigenface approach incorporates multiple validations to ensure the system's accuracy when employees utilize it. The approach incorporates several validations, such as presenting a message when an employee's face is near the camera and indicating a message when the employee's face is not directed toward the camera. If the camera misses adequate lighting, the system will automatically modify the lighting conditions to enable the camera to capture the employee's facial features.

Abstract

This study uses a web-based queueing system to enhance efficiency in hospital outpatient clinics by employing the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) approach. The implemented technology is seamlessly incorporated into the preexisting hospital information system to streamline the operations of registration and queue monitoring. The First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method will be utilized to forecast the number of incoming patients and approximate service durations using previous data from outpatient services. By employing this approach, the hospital is anticipated to optimize resource allocation, minimize patient waiting periods, and improve patient contentment. This study will employ software development methodologies such as requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and assessment. Data collection will be carried out using observation, interviews, and current system documentation. The findings of this study are expected to enhance the standard of treatment in hospital outpatient clinics and guide other healthcare organizations in deploying web-based queueing systems utilizing the FIFO method. This research aims to enhance comprehension of the advantages and obstacles of implementing a web-based queueing system in healthcare services.

Abstract

Efficient inventory control is a crucial aspect of the retail sector, particularly in the electronics industry, such as mobile phones. This study aims to assess the efficacy of the Waterfall methodology in developing a mobile stock management system that is both efficient and dependable. This study employs a qualitative methodology, gathering data from multiple mobile phone retail shops that have adopted the Waterfall method for developing a stock management system. The collected data encompasses the progression through development stages, encountered restrictions, time duration, and attained outcomes. The data is studied to ascertain the strengths and shortcomings of the Waterfall technique in the specific context of controlling cellphone stock. The research findings demonstrate that the Waterfall technique offers a well-defined framework for creating a stock management system. Delineated phases, such as requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and implementation, aid firms in effectively overseeing projects with a disciplined and quantifiable approach. Furthermore, the Waterfall technique enables firms to gain a comprehensive perspective of the project from initiation to completion. Nevertheless, this study also pinpointed certain shortcomings in implementing the Waterfall technique. One drawback is the need for adaptability in handling evolving requirements or enhancements that may emerge during the development process. Hence, companies must meticulously evaluate the worthiness of accommodating these alterations. Based on this study, it is determined that the Waterfall technique can be a very efficient strategy for developing a mobile phone stock management system, mainly when the specific objectives and requirements have been adequately established. However, companies must consider the possibility of evolving requirements and be open to modifying the development process as necessary. This research offers valuable insights to firms in selecting a development approach that aligns with their specific context and business requirements

Abstract

The establishment of this company took place in 2011, and it currently has a workforce of 63 individuals. The company distributes goods exclusively to authorized agencies or pharmacies rather than the general public. Only entities with a valid business license can purchase drugs from this company. It should be noted that this company does not produce drugs but rather acquires them from suppliers for resale. There are still challenges in gathering reports on the inflow and outflow of medicine stock data during inventorying. These reports are still reliant on ledger records. Consequently, warehouse staff require considerable time to document reports regarding the arrival and departure of items. This study aims to examine and create a web-based system for managing drug inventory, which is essential for enterprises. Developing this system entails utilizing the Prototyping methodology as a system development approach and the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as a modeling instrument. The activities implemented in this system encompass the management of goods data, incoming goods transactions, outgoing goods transactions, inventory management, goods stock reports, outgoing goods reports, incoming goods reports, and user administration. Based on this study, a web application was developed to address the drug supply system issues at Pharmaceutical Distribution Companies In Bandung.

Abstract

The Bandung District's Regional Revenue Agency (BAPENDA), primarily tasked with managing local taxes, currently utilizes computer technology for most of its operations, albeit not to its full potential. Currently, manual techniques that utilize paper are still utilized to report the amount of groundwater consumption by taxpayers. As a result, this can affect the accurate computation of groundwater taxes and lead to delays in distributing information regarding groundwater taxes. This study aims to develop an application that enables taxpayers to report the amount of groundwater they use efficiently. This application will also facilitate the access of groundwater usage reports by Tax Division I, hence enhancing convenience. The Final Project utilizes a descriptive research methodology, whereas the system development process employs OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design). This application system is designed using the PHP programming language and utilizes the MySQL XAMPP database. The chosen framework is CodeIgniter due to its extensive range of capabilities that facilitate the creation of robust and high-performing web applications. To summarize, this research has effectively developed an application that allows taxpayers in the Bapenda of Bandung District to submit their groundwater usage volume. This application simplifies the reporting procedure for taxpayers and assists Tax Division I in accessing groundwater usage statistics.

Abstract

At one of the goods distribution organizations in Bandung, manual recording problems such as data mistakes, delayed information, and challenges with inventory analysis must be addressed, and here is where the inventory information system comes in. An inventory system must be implemented to improve accuracy and efficiency in inventory management. With the correct technology, the business can reduce data errors, speed up information access, do practical inventory analysis, and increase productivity when taking and maintaining inventory. This study develops a web-based inventory information system using the MySQL database from the XAMPP application, the Laravel framework, and the PHP programming language. Representative data modeling and the creation of user-friendly interfaces are critical components of the design focus, which also considers proper technology selection. In order to better understand user needs and provide answers, system design will use the Object-Oriented Software Engineering (OOSE) model. In order to help with more precise decision-making in inventory management, the Last-In-First-Out (LIFO) method is used in inventory data analysis. Inventory may be easily monitored by using LIFO to offer information on nearly depleted stock and out-of-stock items. One of the Bandung-based goods delivery companies has seen notable gains due to the adoption of the new inventory system. With this new technology, the business may get past problems with manual recording, like data inaccuracies, delayed information, and challenges with inventory analysis. By streamlining the recording process and facilitating more efficient inventory management, this system facilitates better access to inventory information and increases the efficiency of inventory management. In summary, using an inventory system is an excellent way to get around problems with manual goods recording. This solution increases inventory management efficiency and speeds up the recording process for one of the Bandung-based commodities delivery enterprises. Its deployment offers significant advantages, improving the company's overall operating performance and facilitating more effective inventory management.

Abstract

Pet ownership is prevalent in the present period, and Pet Shops are enterprises that have arisen in conjunction with this phenomenon. One of The Pet Shop in Bandung is a small to medium-sized firm that caters to pet aficionados by offering a wide range of pet goods, including food and grooming services. One of The Pet Shop in Bandung has faced various obstacles in its business operations, such as inadequate documentation of item availability and insufficient product information provided to clients. In order to tackle these difficulties, the researcher utilized the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology to construct a website for One of The Pet Shop in Bandung. The RUP technique is appropriate for this research because it incorporates user perspectives throughout every stage. The website underwent Usability Testing with five user responders utilizing the System Usability Scale questionnaire. The questionnaire assessment utilizing the Likert scale and Usability measurement yielded a score of 72%, signifying its appropriateness.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain how internal control and the use of accounting information systems affect the caliber of financial reports produced by local governments. The study's independent variables are internal control and the adoption of accounting information technology, whereas the dependent variable is the caliber of local government financial reports. Bandung City's regional government agencies (SKPD) work units make up the study's population. Employees from the Inspectorate, BPK, BPPD, Department of Communication and Information, Department of Library and Archives, Investment and Integrated Services Agency, Department of Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, and Administrative and Financial Assistant in the financial section, as well as those with decision-making authority like department heads and sub-section heads, were included in the purposive sample that was chosen using this sampling technique. Fifty respondents from these agencies were given questionnaires as part of the data collection process. Using SPSS 23.0 for Windows, multiple linear regression analysis is used in this study. The study's findings show that internal control makes up 47.2% of the total contribution to the quality of local government financial reports, which is positive and significant. Implementing accounting information systems makes up 23.6% of the total contribution and positively and significantly affects the quality of local government financial reports. Additionally, accounting information systems and internal control simultaneously impact 55.3% and 44.7%, respectively, on the caliber of local government financial reports.

Abstract

This project intends to apply supervised machine learning to anticipate sales of Padimas bread in marketplaces in Indonesia, with an emphasis on evaluating sales data to gain more profits and predict future income. Data from the Shopee, Tokopedia, and TikTok markets in 2023 was analyzed, employing techniques like exploratory sales data analysis and machine learning. The analysis findings encompass the top-selling products, the highest sales figures, regions with the most substantial sales, overall market sales, sales patterns, and revenue forecasts. The primary discoveries encompass the widespread appeal of chocolate toast, the most substantial sales of banana chocolate toast in West Java, and Shopee as the marketplace with the most significant sales and revenue. Sales trends exhibit a pattern of oscillation around an average value, but income from sales demonstrates a downward tendency until the 30th day. The strategic ramifications of this analysis encompass augmenting the production of sought-after goods, amplifying sales in specific regions, and delving into prospective marketplaces.

Abstract

This study is driven by decreased employee productivity influenced by inadequate work motivation, possibly caused by a discrepancy between employee expectations and the actual working conditions. Factors thought to influence work excitement include individual traits and employee practices. This study aims to thoroughly examine the direct and indirect effects of individual traits and behaviors on employee work excitement in the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Cimahi City. This study employs route analysis to examine a population study of 56 employees in the DPMPTSP of Cimahi City. The research findings suggest that individual traits (X1) account for 50.00% of the influence. Individual behavior directly influences 32.70% of the whole outcome. The R-squared value indicates that the combined influence of individual attributes, individual behavior, and job excitement accounts for 82.70% of the variability in work enthusiasm. These findings emphasize the significance of comprehending and controlling employees' unique traits and actions to improve their motivation at work and, ultimately, the organization's success.
