This article explores the intersection of inclusive education and social justice through a sociological lens, focusing on issues of equity and access in learning environments. Inclusive education has emerged as a critical framework for addressing systemic inequalities that marginalize diverse learners across different contexts. By employing a literature review method, this study synthesizes theoretical perspectives and empirical findings to highlight how inclusive practices contribute to broader goals of social justice. The review draws on scholarly works from sociology, education, and policy studies to provide a comprehensive understanding of inclusive education as both a pedagogical and social project. Findings indicate that while inclusive education policies have been widely adopted, persistent disparities remain in the implementation of equitable learning opportunities. The analysis reveals that structural barriers, cultural attitudes, and resource inequalities continue to undermine the realization of genuine inclusivity. Furthermore, the literature demonstrates that inclusion cannot be separated from broader struggles for equity in society, as schools often reflect and reproduce social hierarchies. This review underscores the need for more critical engagement with power relations and systemic reforms in advancing inclusive education. The paper also emphasizes the importance of linking inclusive practices to community participation, teacher training, and supportive policies. This article contributes to the academic discourse by framing inclusive education as a sociological issue central to achieving social justice in contemporary education systems.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in urban economic development, particularly in filling the gaps left by large businesses. However, the centralized development of Jakarta in the central and southern regions has created significant disparities, especially in North Jakarta, characterized by high poverty rates, informal settlements, disaster vulnerability, and limited basic infrastructure. This context restricts access to inclusive economic opportunities for vulnerable groups in the urban peripheries, forming the background for the emergence of the Sunterpreneur Program. This study aims to examine the Sunterpreneur MSME innovation in Sunter Jaya Sub-District, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, to understand its urgency and interaction with the local socio-economic environment as a solution to opportunity and economic gaps. The program is a collaboration between the Sunter Jaya community and the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Integrated Terminal Jakarta. This study adopts a qualitative single case study design, with data collected through in-depth interviews, literature review, and secondary data. The findings indicate that Sunterpreneur has successfully accommodated vulnerable groups such as the elderly (15%), female breadwinners (33%), the unemployed (19%), persons with disabilities (22%), and pregnant women (11%). Future plans for digital marketing are expected to further strengthen equal opportunities for all, contributing to business sustainability and improved quality of life for vulnerable groups in Sunter Jaya.

This study aims to explore how the CSR Program Kampung Berseri has created a harmonization between a faith-based approach and an inclusive circular economy in promoting the success and effectiveness of waste management in Kupang City. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, CSR internal documents, and related literature. The findings indicate that the Gereja Masehi Injili di Timor (GMIT), as a Faith-Based Organization (FBO), has successfully established socio-spiritual legitimacy (as a foundation for transforming community behavior) through three main activities: (1) environmental training for church councils, (2) dissemination of information through church pulpits, and (3) the establishment of waste bank units within churches and schools (29 units in total) spread across 18 sub-districts in Kupang City. The success of the social legitimacy built by GMIT has reinforced the effectiveness of Bank Sampah Mutiara Timor in implementing an inclusive circular economy within the Kampung Berseri Program. This effectiveness is demonstrated by the production of 300 liters of eco-enzyme (100 bottles ready for sale), an increase in the number of active customers (78 individuals), outreach to 3,304 households with 99,947.6 kg of waste managed, 300 participants engaged in roadshow activities, and an increase in the waste bank’s income ranging from 20% to 180%.

The rapid proliferation of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) in Cengklik Reservoir, Boyolali, has caused acute problems for water quality, the aquatic ecosystem, and local economic activities. Through the CSR initiative Masyarakat Sobokerto Peduli Waduk Cengklik (Sobokerto Community Cares for Cengklik Reservoir), initiated by PT Pertamina Patra Niaga AFT Adi Sumarmo since 2021, this invasive species is no longer seen as a nuisance but is being leveraged as a productive resource. This study employs a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach to investigate, support, and assess collective management of water hyacinth by converting it into various products among the assisted community group between 2022 and 2025. The findings demonstrate the transformation of water hyacinth into a range of eco-friendly products: (1) liquid and solid organic fertilizers with NPK levels that meet laboratory criteria, (2) biogas via household-scale anaerobic digesters further developed as a renewable electricity source (Lisendo) for public street lighting, (3) organic fish feed with local formulations that strengthen aquaculture group food security, (4) silage as alternative goat feed with fermentative nutrients, and (5) eco-enzymes for improving reservoir water quality. Each year, there has been measurable progress in both technology adoption and the number of engaged groups, indicating expanded community capacity to manage local resources sustainably. These results affirm that integrating CSR, technological innovation, and grassroots participation can convert invasive weeds into strategic ecological, economic, and social assets.

This literature review explores the influence of ethical leadership on financial performance and human resource satisfaction within Islamic banking institutions. Ethical leadership, grounded in principles of integrity, fairness, and accountability, is increasingly recognized as a critical determinant of organizational outcomes. The review synthesizes findings from peer-reviewed articles published over the past decade, focusing on empirical studies within Islamic financial contexts. Results indicate that ethical leadership positively correlates with improved financial performance, largely through enhanced stakeholder trust, risk mitigation, and reputational strength. Additionally, employee satisfaction appears to be significantly influenced by leaders who demonstrate ethical conduct, transparency, and alignment with Islamic values. The analysis further highlights that ethical leadership in Islamic banking institutions is often reinforced by Sharia principles, creating a unique cultural and normative framework. However, discrepancies in implementation practices and measurement approaches remain notable across institutions and regions. This study identifies theoretical gaps and calls for more integrated models that link ethical leadership with performance metrics and employee well-being in Islamic finance. It also emphasizes the need for cross-cultural and longitudinal studies to capture the dynamic nature of leadership ethics. The review offers strategic implications for policymakers and banking executives seeking to strengthen institutional sustainability and ethical governance.

Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) are artificial structures that aid fishermen in catching fish using traditional methods. However, conventional FADs are often made from materials that do not break down easily, which can harm marine ecosystems by creating long-lasting debris. This study examines the Pena Laut program, which aims to support traditional fishermen while protecting the marine environment. Specifically, the research assesses the effectiveness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and new, eco-friendly fishing gear in Ternate waters. Using documentation and observation, the study sampled 18 program beneficiaries and applied a qualitative descriptive method. Community Satisfaction Index (CSI) data were collected through surveys. The findings reveal that the CSR program from PT Pertamina Fuel Terminal Ternate has had a positive impact on the welfare of fishermen. Activities in the program include forming fishing groups, installing infrastructure, providing cooperative training, and producing eco-friendly products. The survey indicates that the program is operating effectively, with an CSI score of 3.77, or 94.19% when converted, which is considered very good. To ensure continued productivity and sustainability, a new portable, environmentally friendly FAD was developed. This innovation has enabled fishermen to increase their catches, resulting in a 30% rise in community income, equivalent to approximately IDR 150,000 per month, an increase from IDR 500,000 to IDR 650,000.

This study examines the role of the Cirebon Police Public Relations Department in building public trust through the use of social media, particularly Instagram, as a means of public communication in the digital era. The research background is based on the importance of public trust in the police institution in carrying out its duties. Using the communication management theory of Cultip, Centre, and Broom, this study examines four stages of communication: problem identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observation, documentation, and interviews, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that the Cirebon Police Public Relations Department consistently utilizes Instagram as a two-way interactive medium to convey information, educate the public, correct hoaxes, and build a positive image. Content such as the "Friday Curhat" program, morning roll call, and night patrols serve as strategic tools for creating transparency, participation, and emotional closeness with the community. Public sentiment analysis showed a majority of responses were positive (80%), neutral (20%), and no negative comments, indicating the success of this communication strategy in strengthening public trust. This research confirms that integrating social media with communication management strategies can support the effectiveness of police duties and enhance the institution's legitimacy in the eyes of the public.
