Abstract

The teacher not only evaluates student learning achievement based on the grades obtained through tests or examinations, but also evaluates one of the levels of attendance. Students who diligently enter will get a positive score in the assessment, and vice versa, if they rarely attend it will have a negative impact on learning outcomes. This study aims to determine and prove the relationship between attendance and student learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. This study used a quantitative method of 36 students. The sampling technique uses a census sample, which takes all members of the population as a sample. Data collection was carried out by collecting files in the form of learning scores and class absence scores. Data analysis using linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that there is a strong and opposing relationship between absenteeism and student learning outcomes. The conclusion obtained is that the more often students are absent (attendance), the lower their learning outcomes, and vice versa, the more often students attend school, the higher their learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of media and the application of learning models that are in accordance with learning materials in class VIII MTsN 3 Banda Aceh, resulting in a lack of student creativity when learning, therefore it is necessary to apply cooperative-based learning models such as the Project Based Learning model. This study aims to analyze student creativity using the Project Based Learning model with three-dimensional media on the material on the Human Digestive System in class VIII at MTsN 3 Banda Aceh. The sample used in this study was class VIII-3 students of 21 students. Data collection was carried out using project assessment sheets. The results of the analysis show that the average percentage of student group creativity in learning is 89% with very creative criteria. So it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based learning model with three-dimensional media can make students' creativity very creative.

Abstract

Based on the results of learning observations in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation, it was found that most students still lack enthusiasm and interest in learning. Compared to studying, they prefer to do other things so as to make the class atmosphere noisy and disturbed. This has an impact on the value of student learning outcomes at a level that is not good or not optimal. This study aims to determine students' responses to the application of PIR Sensor-Based learning media in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation at SMKN 1 Darul Kamal Aceh Besar. This research uses R&D method. By using a questionnaire sheet instrument on 8 students. The research results were collected through a questionnaire sheet. Student responses to the application of PIR Sensor-Based learning media showed "Satisfactory" results. This is proven by the results of student responses as much as 71.1%. It can be concluded that the PIR Sensor has proven to be effective for learning Electrical Lighting Installation and can be applied to other similar subjects.

Abstract

The development of animated video learning media on colloidal material at SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah is motivated by the learning process which has only used printed books, resulting in a lack of interest in learning and the attraction of students to learning chemistry. This study raised the formulation of the problem how to develop animated video learning media on colloid material at SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah and how students respond to animated video learning media on colloid material at SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE stage procedure (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection instruments used were validation sheets, questionnaire sheets, interviews with students and observations. The research sample was students of SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah and the sample was 25 students of class XI IPA 2. The process of developing an animaker-based animation video was based on the results of the analysis carried out by observation and interviews with class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah. . Based on the analysis results, the animation video is designed as attractively as possible so that students are interested in learning colloidal chemistry, then at the development stage and validation by three expert validators on animaker- based animation videos obtains an average value of 91.73% with the interpretation of "very feasible" , and the implementation of class XI IPA 2 students resulted in the percentage of questionnaire responses being 100% with the "very interesting" criteria. The results obtained from this study based on the validation results are feasible to be used as learning media with a percentage of 91.73% and the results of the student response questionnaire for animated videos are categorized as very interesting with a percentage of 100%. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the animated video learning media developed at SMA Negeri 1 Darul Imarah is feasible to use, and the students' responses to the animated video learning media are in a very interesting category.

Abstract

Based on the interview that was conducted with Mrs. Kamalia S.Pd. as a teacher in Physics at MAN 2 Bener Meriah it is known that there are still students who find it difficult to solve problems in Pascal's Law material so that Problem Solving skills are needed to solve complex problems. The teacher makes every effort so that students can develop Problem Solving skills through the learning process. This study aims to find out how to improve students' ability to solve problems based on Heller's Theory on Pascal's Law Material in class XI MAN 2 Bener Meriah. The population in this study were all students in class XI and the sample was students in class XI-MIA MAN 2 Bener Meriah. This research method is a quantitative method with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, where the data collection instruments used in this research are teacher and student observation sheets, and test question sheets. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that in the first cycle the ability of students from the initial pre-test results obtained a percentage of 0% then seen from the post-test results obtained a percentage of 44.4%. However, after evaluating the students' deficiencies and difficulties in understanding the questions, it can be seen in the second cycle of research that the pre-test percentage results were 80% and the post-test results were 100%. The students have been able to complete their studies well. Abstract

The low ability to understand mathematical concepts, because mathematics is abstract, the time for the teaching and learning process is limited, the teacher plays a more important role, especially in explaining the material, the lack of time to provide exercises and quizzes in the teaching and leasrning processs, teachers must be able to take advantage of existing technology at this time. Students can be said to have the ability to understand mathematical concepts, if these students can formulate settlement strategies, apply simple calculations, use symbols to present concepts, anad change one form to another. In fact, students ability to understand mathematical concepts is still relatively low, so we need a learning model that can develop students ability to understand mathematical concepts, namely the flipped classroom learning model. The purpose of this study was to determine the students conceptual understanding ability after the flipped classroom learning model was applied. The research design used a quasi experimental design with a pre-test control group design. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of MTsN 2 Aceh Besar. Sampling was done by random sampling so that class VIII-5 was chosen as the experimental class and class VIII-6 as the control class. Data were collected using the ability test sheet for understanding mathematical concepts which were then analyzed using independent sampel t-test (right side test). As for the results of the study, it was obtained that t arithmetic > t table, namely 4,14 > 1,68, so it can be concluded that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who are taught by the flipped classroom learning model is better than the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students who are taught by the learning model conventional.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Blended Learning learning model based on the Edmodo application on the mathematical problem solving ability of students in class VIII of SMPN 2 Indrajaya, Pidie Regency. The research method used is quasi-experimental using a pretest-posttest research design. The population of this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Indrajaya, Pidie Regency. The samples used in this study were two classes, namely class VIII.2 which amounted to 30 students and class VIII.3 which amounted to 27 students. The data collection technique used is a test sheet in the form of an essay to measure students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The hypothesis test uses a one-sided T-test, namely the right-hand T-test. The results showed that the average mathematical problem solving ability of students in the experimental class was 28.1583 while the average mathematical problem solving ability of students in the control class was 21.6690. After the average difference test was carried out, it was obtained that tcount ≥ t table 7,56≥1,67 so that Ha was accepted, which means that the mathematical problem solving ability of students who were taught with the Edmodo application-based Blended Learning learning model was better than students who studied with the conventional model.

Abstract

Konsep penjumlahan merupakan penambahan sekelompok bilangan atau lebih menjadi suatu bilangan yang disebut jumlah. Pengenalan konsep penjumlahan anak di PAUD Harsya Ceria Banda Aceh masih kurang, karena belum diterapkan pengenalan konsep penjumlahan di sekolah. Jadi anak belum mengetahui tentang pengenalan konsep penjumlahan dan anak-anak juga belum mengetahui tentang media buah kopi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media buah kopi untuk pengenalan konsep penjumlahan pada anak Kelompok B di PAUD Harsya Ceria, Lingke, Kota Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yaitu anak kelompok B yang berjumlah 11 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar tes untuk melihat pengenalan konsep penjumlahan menggunakan media buah kopi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mendapatkan hasil dimana pengenalan konsep penjumlahan pada anak kelompok B sebelum menggunakan media buah kopi dengan nilai rata-rata 2 dengan kriteria Mulai Berkembang (MB), dan pengenalan konsep penjumlahan pada anak kelompok B setelah menggunakan media buah kopi dengan nilai rata-rata 2,5 dengan kriteria Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH). Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t diperoleh thitung = 3,04 dan ttabel = 1,812 dengan derajat bebas (db) 10 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media buah kopi untuk pengenalan konsep penjumlahan anak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara skor peroleh tes awal (pretetst) dengan skor tes akhir (posttest). Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kecamatan Samadua Kabupaten Aceh Selatan terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam proses kegiatan belajar masih banyak anak yang belum mampu dalam memahami konsep bilangan serta kurangnya penggunaan media konkrit hanya berupa poster sehingga anak mudah bosan dalam proses pembelajaran. Rumusan masalah adalah bagaimana proses pengembangan dan kelayakan media celemek hitung serta bagaimana penerimaan anak dalam penggunaan media celemek hitung pada usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji kelayakan serta bagaimana penerimaan anak terhadap media celemek hitung untuk pengenalan konsep bilangan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development dengan menggunakan model ADDIE yang terdir idari lima tahap yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan media celemek hitung oleh ahli media memperoleh dengan skor persentase 84% termasuk kategori sangat layak, dan ahli materi memperoleh skor persentase 75% dan termasuk kategori layak. Penilaian kelayakan media celemek hitung dari guru memperoleh skor dengan persentase 85%. Kemudian untuk hasil observasi anak berdasarkan hasil dari penilaian dengan jumlah 15 orang anak memperoleh hasil dengan skor persentase 83% termasuk pada kategori sangat layak dan berdasarkan hasil skor yang diperoleh tersebut maka anak dapat menerima penggunaan media celemek hitung untuk pembelajaran konsep bilangan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa media celemek hitung layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pengenalan konsep bilangan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of digital media-based quantum teaching on students' self-efficacy in the learning process in terms of gender. This research is based on the lack of use of learning models and media, causing low self-efficacy owned by students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness quantum teaching of digital media-basedThis study uses a quasi-experimental with a quantitative approach. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study amounted to 180 students, with a sample of 60 students including 30 female students and 30 male students. Sampling in this study using purposive sampling technique.data analysis technique used a nonparametric test (Run Test). The results of data analysis show a sig value of 0.000, this value represents that there is an influence of the digital media-based quantum teaching model on students' self-efficacy
