Abstract

Kesulitan belajar fisika yang dihadapi oleh siswa salah satunya menyebabnya adalah karena keterbatasan media pembelajaran sehingga keinginan siswa dalam belajar masih kurang. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil ulangan yang didapat siswa di kelas XI MAN Banda Aceh masih rendah dengan rata-rata sebesar 65, dan nilai tersebut masih dibawah nilai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM), maka diperlukan media pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan konsep fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan Multimedia Interaktif pada pembelajaran konsep fluida di Kelas XI MAN Banda Aceh I”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Kuantitatif Research, sedangkan desainnya adalah Quasi Eksperimen yang dilaksanakan di MAN Banda Aceh I, Banda Aceh. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MAN Banda Aceh I semester genap tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling sehingga diperoleh kelas XI.A2 yang berjumlah 26 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI. A1 yang berjumlah 26 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes objektif dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Analisis data menggunakan Uji-t dua sampel independen, diperoleh hasil skor rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen berbeda secara signifikan dengan rata-rata skor posttest kelas control dengan thitung> ttabel yaitu 10,17> 1,68 pada taraf signifikan 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran konsep fluida dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswadi kelas XI MAN Banda Aceh I

Abstract

Experiments/practical activities in science learning are important, but it cannot be denied that there are limitations in infrastructure facilities in the implementation of the practicum. To overcome this, one solution is to empower natural laboratories. Natural laboratories, namely the whole world around us, both original and man-made, are often overlooked for practical activities. In addition, students will be very interested if science lesson observations make use of the natural rides around. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning outcomes and responses of students with the use of natural laboratories as student learning facilities in MIN Sabang. The research design used was pre-experiment with a population of all IV classes of MIN Sabang, while for the sample in this study were IV1 students 22 students are also called Total Sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study obtained student learning outcomes can be increased from the pre-test value of 31.82 to 76.14 post-test values. The results of hypothesis testing with t-test statistics were obtained by t count t table or 18.62-1.72 so that Ha was accepted, student learning response data had an increase of 89.9% which was very good criteria. Then it can be concluded that the use of natural laboratories can improve learning outcomes and responses in material changes in the form of objects in MIN Sabang.

Abstract

The teacher not only evaluates student learning achievement based on the grades obtained through tests or examinations, but also evaluates one of the levels of attendance. Students who diligently enter will get a positive score in the assessment, and vice versa, if they rarely attend it will have a negative impact on learning outcomes. This study aims to determine and prove the relationship between attendance and student learning outcomes of SMA Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. This study used a quantitative method of 36 students. The sampling technique uses a census sample, which takes all members of the population as a sample. Data collection was carried out by collecting files in the form of learning scores and class absence scores. Data analysis using linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that there is a strong and opposing relationship between absenteeism and student learning outcomes. The conclusion obtained is that the more often students are absent (attendance), the lower their learning outcomes, and vice versa, the more often students attend school, the higher their learning outcomes.

Abstract

Based on the interview that was conducted with Mrs. Kamalia S.Pd. as a teacher in Physics at MAN 2 Bener Meriah it is known that there are still students who find it difficult to solve problems in Pascal's Law material so that Problem Solving skills are needed to solve complex problems. The teacher makes every effort so that students can develop Problem Solving skills through the learning process. This study aims to find out how to improve students' ability to solve problems based on Heller's Theory on Pascal's Law Material in class XI MAN 2 Bener Meriah. The population in this study were all students in class XI and the sample was students in class XI-MIA MAN 2 Bener Meriah. This research method is a quantitative method with a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, where the data collection instruments used in this research are teacher and student observation sheets, and test question sheets. Based on the results of the research, it can be seen that in the first cycle the ability of students from the initial pre-test results obtained a percentage of 0% then seen from the post-test results obtained a percentage of 44.4%. However, after evaluating the students' deficiencies and difficulties in understanding the questions, it can be seen in the second cycle of research that the pre-test percentage results were 80% and the post-test results were 100%. The students have been able to complete their studies well. The application of Problem Solving based on Heller's Theory is able to improve problem solving skills and student learning outcomes in class XI MAN 2 Bener Meriah

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Hydrogen is widely considered be the fuel of the near future. Combined wind/PV energy hybrid systems can be used to sources energy to hydrogen production. This paper describes design, simulation and feasibility study of a hybrid energy system for a household in Malaysia. One year recorded wind speed and solar radiation are used for the design of a hybrid energy system. In 2000 was average annual wind speed in Johor Bahru is 3.76 m/s and annual average solar energy resource available is 5.08 kWh/m2/day. National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s HOMER software was used to select an optimum hybrid energy system. In the optimization process, HOMER simulates every system configuration in the search space and displays the feasible ones in a table, sorted by total net present cost (TNPC). The optimization study indicates that sensitivity analysis of the HOMER is shown in the overall winner which shows that the most least cost and optimize hybrid system is combination of 10 kW of PV array, 1 unit of wind turbine, 2 kW of fuel cell, 120 units of batteries and 6 kW converter as well as 1 kW of electrolyzer so as to generate the minimum COE, $2.423 kWh- 1. Although renewable sources (wind and PV) involved in the power generation, 1 kg of hydrogen was produced in this system.Pengembangan Model Dengan Menggunakan Homer Untuk Sistem Sel Berbahan bakar Hidrogen HibridaABSTRAK. Hidrogen secara luas dianggap sebagai bahan bakar masa depan. Gabungan sistem hibrida energi angin/fotovoltaik dapat digunakan untuk sumber energi produksi hidrogen. Makalah ini menjelaskan desain, simulasi dan studi kelayakan dari sistem energi hibrida untuk rumah tangga di Malaysia. Satu tahun kecepatan angin tercatat dan radiasi matahari digunakan untuk desain sistem energi hibrida. Pada tahun 2000 adalah kecepatan angin rata-rata tahunan di Johor Bahru 3.76 m/det dan rata-rata sumber daya energi surya tahunan yang tersedia adalah 5.08 kWjam/m2/ hari. Software HOMER digunakan untuk memilih sistem energi hybrida optimal. Dalam proses optimasi, HOMER mensimulasikan setiap konfigurasi sistem dalam ruang pencarian dan menampilkan yang layak dalam sebuah tabel, diurutkan berdasarkan total net present (TNPC). Studi optimasi menunjukkan bahwa analisis sensitivitas HOMER ditampilkan dalam hasil keseluruhan yang menunjukkan bahwa paling sedikit biaya dan mengoptimalkan sistem hibrida adalah kombinasi dari 10 kW array PV, 1 unit turbin angin, 2 kW bahan bakar, 120 unit baterai dan 6 kW converter serta 1 kW electrolyzer sehingga menghasilkan COE(cost of energy) minimal, $2,423 kWjam-1. Abstract

Indikator pembelajaran yang berkualitas salah satunya dapat dilihat dari hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa. Efektivitas media Pembelajaran dapat menumbuhkan semangat belajar siswa, membuat suasana belajar lebih menyenangkan sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajarnya. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang efektif adalah media berbasis animasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: untuk mengetahui efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis animasi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre eksperimen. Desain penelitian pre eksperiment one group pre-test post-test. Populasi penelitian 25 siswa dan sampel 25 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar tes. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Tes. Analisa data menggunakan rumus distribusi frekuensi dan penentuan N-Gain. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terhadap efektivitas media pembelajaran berbasis animasi dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,3 artinya tergolong dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

This research explores the potential of nutmeg shells as an alternative energy source in the form of biobriquettes and their use as a learning resource for understanding heat materials. This research was also motivated by the lack of utilization of nutmeg shells, which are rich in energy. The aim of this research is to determine the process of making charcoal biobriquettes from nutmeg shell waste, determine the characteristics of the biobriquettes produced, and determine students' responses to the biobriquettes that have been developed. This research method uses an experimental approach, with a focus on the physical and chemical characteristics of biobriquettes. The results of research on the process of making charcoal biobriquettes from nutmeg shell waste go through several stages, namely drying, burning, grinding, mixing with adhesive and water, molding, and drying in the sun. The revealing variations in the characteristics of nutmeg shell biobriquettes at carbonization temperatures of 400°C, 450°C, and 500°C, including density, water content, ash content, and heating value. The percentage of students' responses to biobriquettes in heat learning was 76.25%. Thus, it can be concluded that the process of making charcoal briquettes from nutmeg shell waste can be produced as an alternative energy that meets the characteristics of biobriquettes in accordance with the Indonesian National Standards, and also students' responses to the biobriquettes that were developed are very suitable as a source of learning heat material.

Abstract

Based on a questionnaire analysis conducted at SMAN 9 Banda Aceh, it was found that renewable energy material in class uses learning media such as modules, Power Point, Student Worksheets, but teachers only learn from printed books without any practicum. The teaching and learning process still focuses on using non-experimental student worksheets. The aim of this research is to design, determine the feasibility and response of students to Project Based Learning Student Worksheets on renewable energy material for Senior High School. The method used in this research is R&D based on a 4D model. The instruments used in this research consisted of validation sheets and student response sheets. Based on the results of the material expert's assessment, the percentage was 96.61% and the media expert's assessment was 91.07%, including in the very feasible category. Based on the results of the student response sheet to the Student Worksheet based on Project Based Learning on renewable energy material for Senior High School, a percentage result of 94.54% was obtained, including in the very interested category. From this it can be concluded that Student Worksheets based on Project Based Learning are very feasible and practical to use.

Abstract

Prestasi belajar mahasiswa merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam kesuksesan mahasiswa di masa depannya. IPK dan Masa studi menjadi dua indikator penting dalam menunjang prestasi mahasiswa dalam menentukan pasar kerja.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui latar belakang jurusan pada Sekolah Menengah Atas sederajat (SMA, MA, SMK) terhadap indeks prestasi kumulatif dan masa studi mahasiswa prodi pendidikan fisika FTK UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Metode penelitian dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasi dilakukan secara retrospektif dengan menggunakan hubungan antara variabel satu dengan variabel lainnya. Sampel dalam penelitian ini seluruh mahasiswa prodi pendidikan fisika yang masuk pada tahun akademik 2014/2015. Analisis data menggunakan uji anova dengan uji koefisien regresi secara bersama-sama (uji F) regresi ganda dengan tingkat kepercayaan α lebih kecil dari 0,05 untuk Uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data maka diperoleh nilai Ftabel adalah 3,06. Fhitung < Ftabel (0,078 < 3,06) berdasarkan kriteria pengujian F maka dapat disimpulkan bahwah jurusan pada sekolah menengah tidak mempengaruhi indeks prestasi kumulatif dan masa studi mahasiswa pendidikan fisika FTK UIN Ar-Raniry.
