Abstract

Research planning is a crucial initial stage that determines the quality and direction of educational research. A well-structured research plan functions not only as a procedural guide but also as a form of academic accountability that ensures scientific coherence and rigor. This article aims to examine educational research planning from a conceptual perspective by emphasizing the integration of its main components. The method used in this study is a conceptual literature review of research methodology books and relevant scholarly articles in the field of educational research. The findings indicate that an effective educational research plan should include clear problem formulation, well-defined research objectives and significance, relevant theoretical and literature review, appropriate formulation of hypotheses or research questions, and accurate determination of population and sampling. The integration of these components is essential to maintain coherence, validity, and clear research direction. This article is expected to serve as a conceptual reference for students and educational researchers, particularly novice researchers, in developing systematic, logical, and scientifically grounded research plans.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze sago management strategies in supporting food security in Mimika Regency. Local food security still faces various challenges, particularly the high dependence on rice and the underutilization of local food resources. Sago is a local food commodity with high economic, social, and ecological value; however, its management has not been optimized. This study employed a descriptive approach using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires administered to 50 respondents, including local communities, sago processors, customary institutions, and officials from the Mimika Regency Agriculture Office. The results indicate that strengths and opportunities outweigh weaknesses and threats, placing the strategy in Quadrant I (aggressive strategy). The recommended strategy is to leverage internal strengths to seize external opportunities through community capacity building, optimization of sago land utilization, development of sago-based processed products, and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders.

Abstract

Massive digital transformation has fundamentally changed the landscape of the modern retail sector, shifting the reliance on managerial intuition toward precise, fact-based decision-making. This analysis explores in depth how the integration of Big Data Analytics (BDA) supports the effectiveness of business strategies within two major retail players in Indonesia, namely Alfamart and Indomaret. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, the study was conducted by synergizing data from literature reviews, in-depth interviews, and digital observations of application ecosystems such as Alfagift and Klik Indomaret. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of BDA has a significant impact by increasing decision-making speed by 54%, reducing demand prediction error rates by 48.6%, and optimizing logistics efficiency by up to 18.2%. The utilization of the Apriori algorithm in Market Basket Analysis and the integration of AI into CRM systems have proven capable of revealing consumer behavior patterns to enable more accurate product bundling strategies and service personalization. Although offering a high competitive advantage, this implementation faces critical challenges, including a shortage of expert human resources, infrastructure readiness, and compliance obligations regarding the Personal Data Protection Act (UU PDP) Number 27 of 2022. Ultimately, the success of this digital transformation depends heavily on the formation of a data-driven organizational culture and transformational leadership.

Abstract

Global technological transformation has influenced various aspects of education, including the management of Islamic economics learning. These changes require managerial strategies that are not only adaptive to digital developments but also remain consistent with Islamic principles. This article aims to critically review and analyze the practice of Islamic economics learning management in various countries in the context of technological innovation. The method used is a qualitative literature study, based on an examination of eighteen relevant scientific documents, including journals, research reports, and education policy documents. The results of the study show disparities in managerial practices between institutions in Muslim-majority and Muslim-minority countries, both in terms of the integration of Islamic values, digital readiness, and academic leadership. Institutions that develop value-based learning systems supported by transformational leadership tend to be more successful in responding to changing times. A curriculum integrated with the halal industry context and the use of technology that internalizes the principles of maqashid sharia are characteristics of an innovative and valuable learning model. This study concludes that the development of sharia economics learning management needs to be directed towards a model that is not only responsive to technological disruption but also strongly rooted in Islamic ethics and global needs.

Abstract

The development of guidance and counseling in the 21st century faces multidimensional challenges due to digitalization, cultural changes, and rapid social dynamics. This condition requires counselors to not only have technical skills but also reflective capacity rooted in a philosophical understanding of humans, knowledge, and values. This study aims to formulate a future counseling paradigm through a comprehensive philosophical approach by integrating the dimensions of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The method used is a qualitative approach with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) design on scientific articles from 2022–2026 discussing the relationship between philosophy and counseling. The study results show that philosophy serves as a conceptual foundation that shapes counselors’ perspectives on human nature, the sources of counseling knowledge, as well as the direction of values and service ethics. However, most studies still discuss philosophical dimensions partially and have not formulated an integrative paradigm. This study offers a holistic conceptual framework that positions philosophy as the main lens in developing a future counseling paradigm that is humanistic, reflective, adaptive, and responsive to social and technological challenges. This framework is expected to contribute to the development of theories, curricula, and counseling practices relevant to contemporary dynamics.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the quality of learning, learning motivation, student engagement, and learning outcomes of Grade XI Software Engineering (RPL) students at SMK Negeri 6 Kendari through the use of educational game-based digital learning media using the Zep Quiz platform. The main problems faced by the partner school include low student participation in learning, low learning motivation, and limited use of interactive digital learning media that align with the characteristics of digital-native students. The implementation method consisted of several stages, including needs analysis, digital learning media design, student training, classroom mentoring, and evaluation. Zep Quiz was used as an interactive learning medium for basic programming and algorithmic logic topics in the RPL subject. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ learning motivation, classroom engagement, and conceptual understanding of basic RPL materials. Students demonstrated more positive learning attitudes, higher enthusiasm, and greater active involvement in digital-based learning activities. This program confirms that educational game-based digital learning media can create a more engaging, interactive, and effective learning environment, contributing significantly to the improvement of vocational education quality. Therefore, the use of Zep Quiz is recommended as an alternative digital learning medium in vocational schools, particularly in Software Engineering programs.

Abstract

The advancement of intelligent technology has reconfigured counseling practices, particularly within digitally mediated counseling settings. While technology expands access to mental health services, it also poses risks to the authenticity of counselor presence and the depth of the therapeutic relationship. This study aims to examine the meaning of counselor presence in digital counseling through a phenomenological perspective, as well as to identify key challenges and rehumanization strategies in the era of intelligent technology. A qualitative approach with a philosophical narrative literature review design was employed, drawing on international journal articles and academic books published over the last five years. Data were analyzed using reflective thematic analysis to interpret concepts of presence, intersubjective relations, and the impact of technology on therapeutic experience. The findings indicate that counselor presence in digital counseling shifts from physical co-presence to an intentional and intersubjective phenomenon constructed through mindful attention, reflective awareness, and deliberate emotional engagement. Technology creates a paradox by simultaneously enhancing service accessibility and constraining authentic presence through reduced nonverbal cues, increased cognitive-emotional load, and heightened risks of technology fatigue and burnout among counselors. This review underscores the necessity of rehumanizing digital counseling through mindfulness practices, active adaptation to digital media, and the development of human-centered digital counseling models to preserve meaningful, ethical, and humanistic therapeutic experiences.

Abstract

Digital Population Identity (Identitas Kependudukan Digital/IKD) is a national policy aimed at supporting the digital transformation of population administration to improve the quality of public services. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the IKD policy in Mojokerto City using the policy implementation framework of Van Meter and Van Horn. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that the implementation of IKD has been carried out but has not yet been optimal. Policy standards and objectives have been clearly established; however, the achievement of IKD activation targets has not met the predetermined goals. Human resources and infrastructure are relatively adequate, but technical problems in the application and low levels of digital literacy among the community remain challenges. Policy socialization has not reached all segments of society evenly. These findings suggest that the success of IKD implementation is influenced not only by clear standards and sufficient resources, but also by implementers’ disposition and the social readiness of the target community.
