Abstract

This study aims to formulate a pedagogical model of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) for early childhood within the family through the application of the gradation principle (at-tadarruj) based on the analysis of Hadith texts. This study employs a qualitative approach using the library research method. Data collection instruments center on documentation studies of primary sources in the form of Hadith texts (specifically narrated by Abu Dawud), as well as secondary sources consisting of scientific literature and reputable journals. Data analysis techniques include content analysis, semantic and linguistic analysis of the matn, historical context examination (asbabul wurud), hermeneutic methods for contextualization, and a descriptive-analytical approach. The findings emphasize that habituating children to worship must be conducted continuously and gradually according to their psychological and cognitive development phases. Worship education for ages 0–7 is most effective using habituation (ta'wid), exemplary role-modeling (uswah hasanah), and concrete experiences without the burden of religious obligations. Linguistic analysis of the diction muru marks a transition toward active, rational, persuasive, and gentle (rifq) instruction during the tamyiz period (ages 7–10). For ages 10 and above, the diction wadhribu is redefined as a form of educative firmness ('uqubah tarbawiyyah) based on logical consequences, accompanied by the instruction to separate sleeping quarters (wa farriqu) as a means of privacy education, gender awareness, and independence.

Abstract

This study examines the interpretation of hijab verses in QS. Al-Ahzab [33]: 59 and QS. An-Nur [24]: 31 through a comparative analysis of Ibn Kathir’s Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-‘Azhim and M. Quraish Shihab’s Tafsir Al-Misbah. The study is motivated by the diversity of interpretations concerning hijab, particularly regarding its meaning, forms of clothing, and underlying purposes. Such differences require examination through the works of exegetes who employ distinct interpretive characteristics and approaches. This study employs a qualitative method using library research with a descriptive-comparative approach. The primary data consist of QS. Al-Ahzab [33]: 59 and QS. An-Nur [24]: 31 and their interpretations in Ibn Kathir’s and Quraish Shihab’s exegetical works, while secondary data are obtained from relevant books, scholarly journal articles, and previous studies. Data were collected through the identification, documentation, and classification of relevant sources and were subsequently analyzed descriptively and comparatively to identify the similarities, differences, and interpretive characteristics of the two exegetes. This study is expected to contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the Qur’anic verses concerning hijab and to demonstrate how differences in sources, methods, and interpretive contexts may influence the understanding of these verses.

Abstract

This article examines the integration of u??l al-fiqh principles in the Indonesian legal system through the role of the Indonesian Republic Supreme Court as the highest judicial institution. The study focuses on how the Supreme Court adopts and applies the concepts of maq??id al-shar??ah, ma?la?ah, qiy?s, and isti?s?n in judicial reasoning and the development of jurisprudence. This research employs a normative legal research method using conceptual and case approaches. Data were collected through library research, including the study of u??l al-fiqh literature, statutory regulations, and an analysis of selected Supreme Court decisions concerning Islamic family law and Islamic economic law. The findings demonstrate that the Supreme Court does not merely apply positive law textually but also employs the principles of u??l al-fiqh as a basis for legal reasoning to achieve substantive justice and public welfare. This integration is evident in cases involving interfaith inheritance, marriage annulment, and Islamic economic disputes. Although challenges remain, including legal pluralism, the predominance of positivistic legal approaches, and the limited methodological understanding of some judicial officers, the integration of u??l al-fiqh holds significant potential to strengthen the harmonization of Islamic law and the national legal system. This study concludes that the Supreme Court has played a pivotal role in developing jurisprudence that is adaptive, inclusive, and oriented toward the objectives of Islamic law within the framework of Indonesia's constitutional state.

Abstract

This study examines the socioeconomic life of the community in Nagari Mandeh from 2015 to 2023, which has undergone changes alongside the development of the Mandeh Integrated Marine Tourism Area (KWBT). The study aims to understand the community’s socioeconomic life and the impact of tourism development on their lives. The research employs a historical methodology through four stages: heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Research sources were obtained through interviews with fishermen, tourism business operators, lodging owners, boat operators, community members, and village officials, and were supported by archives, data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the South Pesisir Regency Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports, documentation, and bibliographic sources. The results indicate economic changes driven by the emergence of tourism transportation services, food stalls, lodging, trade, and dual employment involving both fishing and tourism. The COVID-19 pandemic temporarily hampered tourism activities and the marketing of fish catches. The development of tourism has also influenced patterns of interaction, family involvement, household conditions, and lifestyles, without eliminating the spirit of mutual cooperation. Thus, the community has been able to adapt to the development of tourism without abandoning the character of coastal life.

Abstract

Global viticulture faces significant agronomic challenges driven by climate change and abiotic stresses, necessitating resilient propagation systems. While synthetic auxins are conventionally used to induce adventitious rooting in stem cuttings, their prolonged application poses ecological and economic detriments. This study aimed to evaluate the synergistic effects of natural botanical biostimulants and stem cutting positions on the early vegetative morphogenesis of grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) cuttings. A 4x2 factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was conducted in an urban greenhouse, testing four biostimulant treatments (control, onion extract, coconut water, and aloe vera gel) across two stem positions (middle and basal internodes). Vegetative parameters were monitored over five weeks and analyzed using Two-Way ANOVA. The results demonstrated that botanical extracts significantly disrupted bud dormancy and accelerated organogenesis compared to the control. Onion extract exhibited superior performance in stimulating leaf proliferation, yielding an average of 11.5 true leaves—a 300% increase over the control. Conversely, aloe vera extract maximized apical shoot elongation, reaching 9.25 cm. Morphological initiation was highly dependent on the ontogenetic status of the propagation material; middle cuttings consistently outperformed basal cuttings due to an optimal carbon-nitrogen (C/N) ratio and reactive parenchymal tissue. In conclusion, the factorial integration of onion extract with middle stem cuttings provides a highly precise, low-cost eco-propagation strategy.

Abstract

The Indonesian Constitution provides an ontological guarantee for the right to a healthy environment, yet continuous economic extractivism paradigms have catalyzed massive, structural ecological crimes. Specifically, environmental criminal enforcement is severely subordinated to administrative regimes (ultimum remedium), allowing mega-corporations to calculatively reduce judicial fines to mere additional operational costs, which culminates in sentencing disparities and rampant ecological recidivism. Preceding scholarly literature remains heavily fragmented, analyzing penal disproportionality or evidentiary procedural limitations in isolation, thereby leaving a distinct gap in holistic synthesis concerning the new National Criminal Code and transnational zemiological frameworks. This doctrinal legal research aims to dissect the systemic dysfunctions within corporate environmental criminal enforcement and reconstruct a prescriptive, robust penal policy architecture. The normative analysis demonstrates that the paralysis of deterrence is deeply rooted in severe penal proportionality deficits, the manipulation of the corporate veil, and the rigid application of the in dubio pro reo maxim, which actively facilitates corporate impunity under the guise of scientific uncertainty. As a conceptual novelty, this article proposes the statutory integration of the in dubio pro natura principle and the harmonization of autonomous environmental crime doctrines—derived from European Union Directives—into the purview of the 2023 National Criminal Code.

Abstract

The enactment of Article 328 of Law Number 20 of 2025 concerning the Criminal Procedure Code marks a paradigm shift in corporate criminal law enforcement by introducing the Deferred Prosecution Agreement (DPA) mechanism. This mechanism shifts the resolution of corporate criminal cases from the conventional criminal justice model toward a settlement based on an agreement between the Public Prosecutor and the corporation. However, the regulation raises concerns regarding the mechanism's ability to achieve substantive justice, particularly concerning the scope of prosecutorial discretion, judicial oversight, and the recovery of unlawfully obtained profits. This research aims to analyze the juridical implications of this paradigm shift on the realization of substantive justice and to formulate a regulatory framework for DPAs by strengthening judicial oversight mechanisms and disgorgement standards. This is a normative legal study employing statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The analysis is prescriptive in nature, grounded in the Theory of Substantive Justice. The findings indicate that the DPA regulation in Article 328 of the New Criminal Procedure Code does not yet fully guarantee the realization of substantive justice, as it fails to adequately regulate judicial oversight mechanisms or establish objective and measurable disgorgement standards. These weaknesses risk creating disparities in legal application, diminishing the deterrent effect on corporations, and reducing the effectiveness of recovering losses suffered by the state and victims.

Abstract

Background: Sleep quality is one of the essential determinants of infant growth and development because approximately 75% of growth hormone secretion occurs during sleep. Poor sleep quality may negatively affect neurological maturation, cognitive development, immune function, and physical growth. Non-pharmacological interventions, including listening to the recitation of the Holy Qur'an (murottal), have been increasingly used as complementary therapies to promote infant relaxation and improve sleep quality. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of Al-Qur'an murottal audio therapy on sleep quality among infants aged 3–6 months at Ananda Clinic, Keurukuh, North Aceh. Methods: A quantitative pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest–posttest design was conducted among 32 infants aged 3–6 months selected using total sampling. Sleep quality was assessed using a modified Sleep Diary questionnaire with a Guttman scale before and after seven consecutive days of Al-Mulk Surah murottal therapy administered for 30 minutes before bedtime. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Results: Before intervention, 59.4% of infants had poor sleep quality, while 40.6% had good sleep quality. After intervention, good sleep quality increased to 93.8%, whereas poor sleep quality decreased to 6.3%. Wilcoxon analysis demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in sleep quality after therapy (mean score 1.41 vs. 1.94; p=0.000). Conclusion: Al-Qur'an murottal audio therapy significantly improves sleep quality among infants aged 3–6 months and may serve as a safe, simple, and effective complementary intervention in maternal and child health services.
