Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Group Investigation model of learning on learning outcomes of geography at SMAN 1 Banjarbaru academic year 2013/2014. This study was a quasi-experimental study (quasi-experiment) with a research design Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Data were analyzed using t-test. The results of the calculation of t test analysis of data obtained p-level less than 0.05 (p 0.05) of 0.01. The results of these calculations prove that the Group Investigation model of learning effect on learning outcomesTujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran Group Investigation terhadap hasil belajar geografi pada siswa SMAN 1 Banjarbaru tahun ajaran 2013/2014.

Abstract

Flipped Classroom Model is a model in which teaching and learning activities are not carried out as usual. Before carrying out learning activities at school, students are given materials to study at home using Padlet platform. The purpose of this study is to see the influence of the use of Flipped Classroom model on the understanding of Atmosphere in Geography lessons. This research uses True Experiment Design with technique Randomized Subject Sampling, Control Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The population in this study were all tenth grade of social science (X IPS) students at Senior High School 2 Dayun, amounting to 68 students, and the sample used is class X IPS 1, amounting to 22 students and X IPS 2 totaling 22 students. The hypothesis test used in this study was the t-test, the results of the study obtained an average post-test score of the experiment class X IPS 2 of 85.54, while the average post-test score of the control class X IPS 1 was 77.00. Based on the data analysis on the t-test, the value of tcount = 6.187 and t table = 1.682. Because tcount is greater than ttable, there is a significant effect of using Flipped Classroom learning model assissted on Padlet Platform. DOI: 10.23960/jlg.v4.i2.28607

Abstract

Various learning models can eliminate students' boredom while learning. The make a match and snowball throwing learning models are learning models that use a game system. The problem in this study is whether the social studies integrated learning outcomes using the make a match model are better than the snowball throwing learning model assisted by handout media for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh. This study aims to find out whether the learning outcomes of integrated social studies using the make a match learning model are better than the snowball throwing learning model assisted by media handouts for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 18 Banda Aceh. This study uses a quantitative approach, with the type of experimental research. Sampling was taken using purposive sampling technique, two classes were taken from class VIII-4 and VIII-5, totaling 60 participants. Data collection techniques using pre-test data and post-test data. Data analysis techniques using the t test. The results of data processing obtained tcount ttable or 3.13 1.67 so that Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that the integrated social studies learning outcomes taught using the Make A Match learning model are better.

Abstract

The results of observations and interviews with students of class X IPS 2 , interest in learning geography before the application of the Group Investigation learning model of students is quite low. This is based on the statements of 20 students who expressed less interest in geography. Understanding the concepts of students of class X IPS 2  on geography learning material is still very low. data from the latest daily test results as many as 56% of students who scored below the average KKM (75). This study aims to (1) determine the increase in learning interest of students in class X IPS 2SMAN 1 Sampang on atmospheric dynamics material and its impact on life by applying the Group Investigation learning model (2) knowing an increase in understanding of the geography concept of class X IPS 2 students at SMAN 1 Sampang on atmospheric dynamics material and its impact on life by applying the Group Investigation learning model. This type of research is a class action ( classroom action research ) were conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. This research subject graders X IPS 2 the second semester of the school year 201 9 /20 20 SMAN 1 Sampang. The results showed that (1) students' interest in learning after treatment experienced an increase in the overall indicator used, these indicators were: Feeling happy, student attention, student interest, and student learning involvement ; (2) students'  understanding  has  increased from each cycle. Abstract

This research aims to see a comparison of the analytical abilities of students in class X using problem solving and problem posing learning models. The research method uses quantitative descriptive. The type of research used is quasi experimental research. Based on the research results, it was found that the comparison of the analytical abilities of students in the experimental class 1 class obtained an average of 75.76, experimental 2 obtained an average of 80.47, while the control class obtained an average of 71.41. Based on the results of the hypothesis that has been carried out, it is found that the Sig of experiment class 1 and control is .019, experiment 2 and control is .000 and experiment 1 and experiment 2 is .009 which is 0.05 which is significant which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From these three classes, it can be concluded that there is a comparison of students' analytical abilities where the problem posing learning model has a higher average than the problem solving learning model. DOI: 10.23960/jlg.v4.i2.28314
