Abstract

The development of science and technology has resulted in significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the education sector. The medium used is Wordwall, a platform that offers educational games to support interactive learning. The purpose of this study is to find out the use of Wordwall-based PAI learning media in increasing the learning interest of grade V students at SD Negeri 1 Klieng Aceh Besar, and to find out whether the use of Wordwall-based PAI learning media can increase the learning interest of grade V students at SD Negeri 1 Klieng Aceh Besar. This study uses a type of classroom action research that is carried out in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 20 students of class V. The data collection technique is carried out by observation or observation. The results of this study show that at the stage of implementation of cycles I and cycle II, students' interest in the indicator of feeling happy increased from 10% to 80%. The interest indicator increased from 15% to 80%. The attention indicator from 25% increased to 80%. And the engagement indicator increased from 15% to 85%. This proves that the use of Wordwall-based PAI learning media can increase the learning interest of grade V students at SD Negeri 1 Klieng until it reaches the success category desired by the researcher, which is 80% or reaches the stage of MSH = Increase as Expected.

Abstract

This study discusses improving student learning outcomes in the material of Faith in the Messenger of Allah SWT through the application of the Horay Course Review (CRH) Learning Model in grade XI of SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura semester I of the 2021/2022 academic year. The main purpose of this study is to find out the extent to which the CRH learning model can improve student learning outcomes in the material. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of Class Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Data were collected through test and non-test techniques, where the test instrument was in the form of multiple choice, while non-test data was analyzed qualitatively descriptive, and test data was analyzed using descriptive percentages. The research subjects consisted of 27 students in grade XI. The results showed that at the end of cycle I, students who achieved a score of ≥70 were only 59.25%, while the activity of teachers and students averaged 71.85%. After improvements were made in cycle II, students who obtained a score of ≥70 increased to 81.48% with the average activity of teachers and students reaching 82.68%. Thus, the use of the Horay Course Review learning model has proven to be effective in improving student learning activities and outcomes on the material of Faith in the Messenger of Allah SWT at SMK Negeri 1 Gandapura.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the Scientific Learning approach to the learning outcomes of grade IV students of SD Negeri Neuheun on the material of Faith in Allah and His Messenger. The background of this research is the low understanding of students of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) material which has an impact on low learning outcomes under the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in two cycles, with each cycle including the stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. The research subjects amounted to 20 fourth grade students of SD Negeri Neuheun. The results of the study show that the application of the Scientific Learning approach which includes the steps of observing, questioning, reasoning, trying, and communicating is able to significantly increase student activeness and learning outcomes. Students become more enthusiastic, actively participate in the learning process, and are able to understand the concept of faith in Allah and His Messenger more deeply. The increase in learning outcomes is also shown by the increase in the number of students who achieve grades above the KKM after the implementation of the action. Thus, the Scientific Learning approach has proven to be effective in improving learning outcomes and the quality of PAI learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years through collage activities with various media at RA Muslimat NU Pretek, Pecalungan District, Batang Regency. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with a quantitative descriptive approach which is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were 47 children, consisting of 28 boys and 19 girls. The focus of the research includes the steps of teachers in the implementation of collage activities, such as planning drawing patterns, introducing tools and materials, and evaluating children's work. Inhibiting and supporting factors of collage activities were identified through observation and interviews with teachers. The results of the study show that the application of collage activities through scissors and gluing activities can significantly improve children's fine motor skills. This can be seen from the increase in pre-cycle results by 6%, increasing to 36% in cycle I, and reaching 78% in cycle II. Thus, collage activities have proven to be effective in developing fine motor skills in early childhood through a fun and meaningful learning process.

Abstract

This classroom action research aimed to improve students’ ability to understand multiplication and the composition method through the application of the demonstration method at MI Negeri 40 Pidie. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 26 fifth-grade students, including 14 boys and 12 girls. Data were collected through observation, tests, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods. The results revealed that the demonstration method significantly improved students’ understanding of multiplication and number composition. Before the implementation, only 48% of students achieved the minimum mastery criterion (70). After the first cycle, this number increased to 72%, and in the second cycle, it reached 92%. The improvement occurred because the demonstration method enabled students to observe concrete examples, manipulate learning materials directly, and engage in hands-on learning that fostered conceptual understanding. Moreover, students became more active, motivated, and confident in solving multiplication problems. In conclusion, the use of the demonstration method proved effective in enhancing both cognitive achievement and learning engagement among students in mathematics learning at the elementary level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of honest attitudes and learning outcomes of grade VI students of SD Negeri Lam Geue through the application of Project Based Learning (PjBL) assisted by Campaign Posters. This class action research (PTK) is carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of the study in the pre-cycle stage showed that the percentage of honest attitude of new students reached 45%, while the level of completeness of learning outcomes was 55%. After the implementation of actions in the first cycle, there was an increase with the percentage of honesty reaching 68% and the completeness of learning outcomes increasing to 70%. In cycle II, a more significant increase was seen with the percentage of honesty reaching 85% and the completeness of learning outcomes reaching 88%, which means that it has exceeded the established success indicators. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model assisted by Campaign Posters is effective in improving the honest attitude and learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students in grade VI at SD Negeri Lam Geue.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is one of the subjects given from elementary to high school. PAI examines a set of events, facts, concepts and generations related to faith and belief in Allah swt. Through PAI subjects, students are directed to be able to become peace-loving world citizens. In the future, students will face tough challenges due to the life of a global society or are constantly changing at all times. Seeing the above reality and the problems faced in the implementation of teaching and learning activities, teachers must be able to find the right learning model by actively and creatively involving students. The author tries to apply one of the learning methods, namely the Contextual Teaching And Learning method, to reveal whether the Contextual Teaching And Learning method can improve students' learning abilities. In the Contextual Teaching And Learning method, students are more active in solving to find problems, while teachers play the role of mentors or provide instructions on how to solve problems. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning ability of students to learn Islamic Religion zakat material through the Contextual Teaching And Learning method for grade XI of SMA Negeri 1 Baktiya Barat North Aceh Regency. From the results of the study, it can be seen that the Contextual Teaching And Learning method in the zakat material of class XI shows an increase in the average class of 66, the initial condition of 66, the first cycle 76, and in the second cycle 86.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research was carried out at SD Negeri 4 Meurah Dua with a research subject that focused on grade V students totaling 22 students. This research is based on the lack of student learning outcomes in memorization. Based on the initial observations made previously, the learning process carried out before students directly memorized themselves individually, not guided by the teacher, so students were less courageous and confident in their memorization results. Another factor that is a problem in the memorization process is the lack of repetition. Therefore, audio visual is very suitable in whether through the implementation of Audio Visual media can improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes of grade V students of SD Negeri 4 Meurah Dua, Pidie Jaya Regency on the subject of telling the Story of the Prophet in the first semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The implementation of learning outcomes also increased, namely in the first cycle 45.45% and in the second cycle it reached 86.36%. Based on these results, applying the tikrar method to the Telling the Story of the Prophet material has increased student learning outcomes. Likewise, the results of observations in the first cycle were 83% and the second cycle was 92.22%. Thus, the level of success of student activities based on the observations of the two observers is included in the category of very good.

Therefore, the tikrar method is very suitable in an effort to improve the memorization ability of students of the Quran letter Ash-Shams in Class V of SD Negeri 4 Meurah Dua, Pidie Jaya Regency, Academic Year 2024/2025. The implementation of learning has also increased, namely in the first cycle it reached 45.45% and in the second cycle it increased to 86.36%. Based on these results, the application of the tikrar method to the material of the Qur'an surah Ash-Shams showed an increase in student learning outcomes. Likewise, the results of observation, in the first cycle 83% were obtained and in the second cycle it increased to 92.22%. The level of success of student activities based on the observations of the two observers is included in the very good category.
