Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning using problem-based learning. This research is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is elementary school students. The data of this study was obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze the learning activities of teachers and students. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with research success indicators. The results of the study show that problem-based learning can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completeness in each cycle with details of 40.19% in the pre-cycle, 73.37% in the first cycle and 89.52% in the second cycle. Thus, the use of problem-based learning can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

The data of this study was obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze the learning activities of teachers and students. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with research success indicators. The results of the study show that pairing practice can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completeness in each cycle with a breakdown of 40.19% in the pre-cycle, 75.37% in the first cycle and 90.72% in the second cycle. Thus, the use of pairing practice can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

This research is based on pre-action observation results, which indicate that children's language skills at RA Tarbiyatul Banin are still low, especially in vocabulary recognition and understanding letter or word concepts. The aim of this study is to improve children's language skills through the word-guessing method assisted by picture card media at RA Tarbiyatul Banin, Plosorejo Village, Pucakwangi District, Pati Regency, in the 2019/2020 academic year. This issue arises because children's language skills in word-guessing activities are not optimal due to monotonous teaching methods and a lack of activity variation, causing children to feel bored and uninterested. Consequently, their cognitive abilities remain underdeveloped. The research subjects consist of 26 children from RA Tarbiyatul Banin in the 2019/2020 academic year, including 13 boys and 13 girls. The research was conducted at RA Tarbiyatul Banin, Plosorejo Village, Pucakwangi District, Pati Regency. This study employs a classroom action research (CAR) approach, which consists of four stages: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation, (3) Observation, and (4) Reflection. Data collection techniques include observation and documentation. The research was carried out in three cycles: pre-action, Cycle 1, and Cycle 2. The results indicatean improvement in children's language skills through the word-guessing method. This is evident from the pre-cycle learning outcomes, where no children were able to fully participate. However, after improvements in learning during Cycle 1, the "Developing as Expected" (BSB) scale increased by 1.92%. In Cycle 2, the "Well Developed" (BSB) scale reached 25%. Based on these percentage results, the researcher concludes that the word-guessing game assisted by picture cards can effectively improve children's language skills at RA Tarbiyatul Banin, Plosorejo Village, Pucakwangi District, Pati Regency, in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students' character and morals. One key aspect is moral education, which aims to instill Islamic ethical and moral values in daily life. However, around 60% of students at SMK Negeri 4 Meulaboh struggle to grasp the concept of Islamic morals. This issue is reflected in their low minimum competency scores (KKM), primarily due to the monotonous and unengaging lecture-based teaching method commonly used by teachers, which quickly leads to boredom. To address this problem, an alternative approach is needed to ensure students can effectively absorb moral education. One potential solution is the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of PBL in improving students' understanding of moral education in Islam. The research follows a Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, conducted in two cycles.

Abstract

The Effect of Discovery Learning on Student Achievement in Al-Qur'an Hadith Studies. This research addresses the following issues. Does the Discovery Learning model affect the learning outcomes of Grade VIII students in the subject of Al-Qur’an Hadith at MTs NU Nurul Huda. To what extent do students master the material on Mad Silah, Mad Badal, Mad Tamkin, and Mad Farqi after implementing the Discovery Learning model. To examine the impact of the Discovery Learning model on student achievement in Al-Qur’an Hadith studies, particularly in the rules of Mad reading at MTs NU Nurul Huda Kudus for the academic year 2022/2023. To analyze the extent of students' learning progress after applying the Discovery Learning model in Grade VIII at MTs NU Nurul Huda Kudus. his study used action research conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages, Planning, Implementation and Observation, Reflection, Revision. The research subjects were Grade VIII students, and data were collected through formative tests and classroom observation sheets. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, Pre-cycle 14%, Cycle I 42%, Cycle II 83%. the study concludes that the Discovery Learning method has a positive effect on students' learning motivation and significantly enhances their achievement in Al-Qur’an Hadith studies. This model can be used as an alternative learning approach to improve student engagement and understanding in religious studies.

Abstract

his study aims to examine efforts to improve the understanding of Fiqh regarding the Pillars of Faith through the Discovery Learning method in Grade II of SD Negeri 2 Jangka Buya. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 30 second-grade students. Data collection was conducted through observations, written tests, and interviews. The results showed that the application of the Discovery Learning method effectively improved students' understanding of the Pillars of Faith. Based on the findings, there was an increase in student engagement from Cycle I to Cycle II, with students becoming more active and enthusiastic in learning. It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning method is effective in enhancing students' understanding of the Pillars of Faith, making the learning process more engaging and interactive. Therefore, it is recommended that this method be consistently applied in Fiqh learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is a process of guidance by students towards the development of the soul and body. The weakness of the learning process developed by teachers is one of the problems faced by the world of education. The task of Islamic religious teachers is to guide, teach and train students. Teachers tend to deliver lesson materials through lectures, group learning, but only a few students are classified as active, so it is necessary to improve learning outcomes. One effort that can be done is to apply a learning method that aims to improve student learning outcomes and student motivation. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of 2 cycles. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in learning achievement and maximum KKM values ​​and was proven by the average value in cycle I of 63% while in cycle II there was a higher increase of 77%.
